Description of Work: I purchased a whole-home HVAC inspection and tune up prior to selling our house. They were prompt, courteous and professional making sure the system was operating fully. They diagnosed a start-solenoid that was almost ready to fail and replaced that, too. Good work for a good price.

Description of Work: One of our HVAC systems (this one a heat pump) had developed a leak and was serviced by another company about 10 months ago. The service provider recommended a recharge without a leak check thinking perhaps the leak was very |slow and the charge would last years. Not to be and very expensive since this unit was one of the last model years still using R22 refrigerant. | |Based on reviews for JB's we scheduled for them to address the problem. They were able to come within a couple of days of calling and were quick to begin work on the system. The process entailed two trips as they pressurized and found a leak at a connection then went through a couple of steps to check that the system was now tight. Importantly from a cost standpoint they recommended recharging the system with an alternative approved refrigerant. And they properly evacuated the system prior to the recharge. | |We were very please with the promptness, professionalism, and quality of the work by both of the gentlemen (Kenny and Major) and the sound advice along the way. Description of Work: I purchased the inspection special and was very happy with the service. Major the representative was very thorough and detected a valve problem that was fixed.

Description of Work: I purchased an inspection deal from Angie's List. They came and inspected the entire HVAC system. They were very polite and made reasonable recommendations.

Description of Work: I had been told by another company that the compressor was bad on the heat pump and I needed an entirely new system. This happened the Wednesday before Memorial Day weekend before I went out of town for 2 days. I was advised to join Angie's list by a friend to find the best service to get the new compressor and I sent out emails on Friday night. JB called on Saturday. He sent Mike out on Memorial Day, to check the compressor who quickly found it was just a bad capacitor! ( This would have been a free estimate if it had been the compressor.) We will use them when it is time to replace the entire heat pump system! Kathy Daley
