Very satisfied with work performed. Very easy to work with. We had several meetings with co-owner Joe Bass who listened carefully to what we wanted and then thoroughly reviewed and explained his proposal, including alternate approaches. During the remodeling process it was easy to reach Joe, and he was always responsive to any concerns. On the few occasions that we were not happy with work performed by contractors corrections were made without any hesitation. We expect to use MyGuys again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

It was perfect. They were wonderful and the crew arrived on time. Their communication was above and beyond excellent and the work was done in a timely and professional manner. We even had to go out of town and I trusted leaving them to key so they could finish their work when we weren't there.

Best Contractor experience we have ever had! True example of you get what you pay for...great service and great product. We worked with Shawn Sell from My Guys Remolding from the start and he was extremely professional in his job evaluation and quoting. He explained everything in detailed, answered all questions and worked with us on solutions that best met our home. He was very responsive and attentive to our needs. Once the work started, the crew arrived on time every day and even notified us when they were leaving for the day. The crew was extremely respectful to my entire family and it was obvious they took great pride in their workmanship. If it was not perfect, they would re-do it on their own. The crew kept our entire yard very tidy and cleaned up every night before leaving...a great plus with children and pets. One item that was very refreshing was the MyGuys Supervisor and Shawn Sell himself performed "self-walk thrus" to make sure everything was to there standards. We also had our own walk-thru and they were very receptive to all our questions and addressing any special requests. This was an outstanding experience and will use them again in the future and highly recommend anyone else to do the same.

They were incredibly efficient in their work from start to finish and I would recommend them to anyone. At least give them a chance to give you a estimate.

They did extremely excellent work. We met this group at the Southern Ideal Home Show. We were so impressed by the presentation that they made that day, we inquired about adding a porch on to our home. They came out a short time later, drew up some renderings, and built a beautiful patio and porch. They even came out twice on Sunday night on a 30 minutes notice to readjust the plastic protective covering during heavy rain near where they cut into the roof. I thought this was wonderful customer service.

Their project manager quit around when they started our project. The painters were not professional. The paint job is horrible and there are ridges and bumps in our ceiling. They didn't tape off the lines before painting so it looks really bad. We ended up getting a partial refund for the work.

Don't call them because they will waste your time and not make their appointments and not call.

Since they was running about 25 days out from the projected start Mr. Bass gave me an approximate start date. The materials arrived about a week prior than the start date and Mr. Bass was there to make sure everything went smooth. The workers showed up on time and on the day scheduled. This was a big project with a lot of siding to be replaced and this is what took the most time. I was also replacing siding myself that I could reach on a lower wall during this same time. So the project was really split on what I was doing and what I was having done by them. Being a General Contractor I was critical of the work being done and Joe and his crew understood this. Each time, when I had a comment or question on the work being performed, my questions were addressed to my satisfaction. As in any large job there were minor snags but MyGuys went out of their way to either make things right and to assist me with my work. For example when I needed a special piece of trim wood to complete one of my projects Mr. Bass volunteered to run back to his office to retrieve a board he had there, thus saving me time and money - all during rush hour late in the day. The crew went out of their way to assist me with my projects each time I needed their assistance. The lead crew member (as well as the entire crew) were professional and courteous at all times. I was excited about the windows and they were all installed in one day. One half-round window was a concern to match properly and Larry, their production guy was there to install and fine-tune the fit. I am very satisfied with the quality of the Vytex windows and their installation. Today it is 25 degrees out side here in Cary and windy. There are no drafts with these windows and I can actually feel that our home is better sealed from the elements and drafts. The trim wrapping really makes the windows stand out and the quality of the work was excellent. Concerning the grading process with Angie's List, as every contractor knows there are very few "perfect" jobs and I would never give myself a perfect score if I was to be truly honest in an evaluation. My only commit for the entire project was that the post project clean-up could have been a bit more detailed. Since I had to mark this somewhere in the evaluation I choose to give them a B in professionalism, as there was no other place to grade in this area. Please note, their professionalism was an A. All in all, MyGuys Remodeling performed up to my high expectations and completed the job as scheduled. /It was an amazing process! The crew was very, very professional, polite and really knew their stuff!!! The owners were on site often making sure all was going well and that I was pleased with every tiny detail. They were very observant and repaired any rotten wood they saw even though it had no effect on the windows. They went out of their way to get me exactly what I wanted....that being all windows and door white on the inside and a color matching the trim of the house on the outside. All in all, it was a pleasing experience and the results are fantastic! Couldn't be happier with "my guys"! Such an appropriate name! Good friends have been found!

I discovered some rotten wood in a few spots in my exterior window trim. I originally went through Service Magic (big mistake) and was matched with one contractor who claimed he had experience wrapping exterior window sills with aluminum. He began the work and it was horrible. I realized quickly that he was not equipped to do the work and he had no business attempting this work. I found My Guys Remodeling through a web search, and Shawn responded to me the same day and took the time to explain the technical details of the work involved. He came out within a few days and provided me with a free consultation on site. I met with one other company to compare prices, and My Guys Remodeling was significantly cheaper even though they use more expensive material. Once I contracted with My Guys, they completed the work efficiently, including ripping out the shoddy mess completed by the previous contractor. When they finished, there was no sign of them having been there other than a superb finished product. Joe inspected the job with me at the end to make sure I was 100% satisfied. Bottom line---from my experience, My Guys Remodeling is a top notch company that uses the best material available and highly skilled workers. They're my new go-to for any service they offer.

As with any sizable renovation, there are likely to be hiccups and this project was no different. What was originally supposed to be a 2-3 week delivery for the windows became 5 weeks. This had nothing to do with My Guys. As a matter of fact I received a call from Vytex directly letting me know that the delay was in no way the fault of My Guys and not to "hold it against them", it was purely a manufacturing problem. Always remember, it isn't necessarily what goes wrong, but how does your contractor handle and resolve the issue. And I'm happy to say that My Guys handled everything very well. The delay was a nuisance, but not devastating and they were apologetic even though it wasn't their fault. As soon as it was confirmed that the windows would be on the truck they immediately scheduled their top installation crew to be onsite as soon as it could be scheduled. I will be contacting Shawn and My Guys again when it comes time to tackle our next renovation project.

Requested quotes from 7 other contractors, big names mostly. All except My Guys were typical hard sell tactics (When they showed up fro their appointment). Shawn, of My Guys, was upfront and honest. Took time to answer all my questions and had an excellent product line (Vytex Windows). Cost was not the cheapest, but mid range of all the others. (~$6400). The installation was done withing the stated time by a very good, professional team. Shawn followed up when done to make sure everything was done to our satisfaction. It was only then that they were paid. I was told that this is their standard practice. We are very satisfied with all aspects of this project and would recommend this company to anyone.

Untimately the company was not selected for the job. The owner, Shawn, was professional and pleasant during the estimation process. He asked all the appropriate questions and detailed the necessary steps for completion. However, his estimate came close to $7,000. The other 2 companies came in under $3,000. Just to clarify, the estimates were for labor and materials needed to install. I had already paid for the door and did not work with the contractor in purchasing the door.

We were very pleased with My Guys and would recommend them highly. The work was completed on time and within budget, and they provided the paperwork needed to file for the tax break. The windows themselves are high quality and the installation crew was wonderful. We were comfortable having them in our house unattended. It was one of the smoothest home improvement projects we've ever undertaken. We could have gone with a cheaper option but I don't think we would have gotten the same quality.

We were very pleased with the service that My Guys provided. Shawn and Joe, the owners, were great to work with. Their work crews were also friendly and courteous. The crew always cleaned up any mess that was made while installing the windows. The job got done in a timely manner, and we are very happy with our new windows. For any future repairs or remodeling, we plan to call My Guys.

Called us back quickly when we first reached out to them. Helped us understand the window choices and what our options were. Quickly prepared an understandable quote. Once the windows were ordered, completed replacing 27 windows in three days -- which we thought was very good. Followed up with us to make sure we were pleased. Did not ask for deposits -- did not want us to pay until we were satisfied. The house is much more air tight, already noticed a difference in how much AC we need to use, even brighter in some rooms. Very pleased with the work and would recommend them if you need windows. While we liked their other work, we didn't have enough done to form as a basis for a recommendation.

Their price was more expensive than the other companies I got quotes from, but they understood what I wanted more, so I am going to be using them. The price they quoted me was $6,000 and I was pretty pleased with it. Their professionalism and customer service was excellent. It was good interaction with what I wanted and they gave me options and discussed different ways, different things could be done.

Very good experience with the two reps. They explained what needed to be done and why and what they would do. The chimney looks really good.

He could not get the window out, so they will have to do a massive job instead of a small one. He is really nice. I liked the fact that he did not take me for a ride with expensive things.
