We have trusted My Guys for all of our remodeling needs. Five years ago they replaced our siding with HardiePlank - and if you look at the pictures from this week it looks as good as the day they installed it. They have since replaced all our exterior doors as well as all of the windows in my office. I had some leaking and degraded wood on my door thresholds; Petr did a fantastic job repairing them during the install. Look at the before and after pictures and you'll see why we love and trust My Guys! The old siding was yellow. Our old double window in the office was replaced with a beautiful picture window.

They did very good work and I would use them again.

My Guys is outstanding to work with. They held to their original commitment on price even though I scheduled my window install 9 months apart. The installation crew was great - prompt, business like, thorough and cleaned up the areas where the install took place impeccably. I would highly recommend this company.

Well, as with any job, it had it's ups and downs, mainly because my home is over 100 years old, and was actually 3 houses that had been joined together by the owner and his neighbors, some 60 + years ago, so nothing about the job was straight forward, making it difficult for the crew to get on a roll. I am thankful that one of the owners, Joe Bass, whose experience is vast, was always available when it came to dealing with some of the extreme issues. Another plus was the crew that did the work cared about the quality of their work, and once they began, they were there to stay and not pulled off to go to other jobs like one sees with a lot of contractors. A second crew came out to do the final, detail work, and they really impressed me! Other issues that came up, were due to lack of communication on both parts [wrong color vents, 2 doors were incorrectly ordered, etc] and on my part, assuming something was included in the price, that was not, but these things were addressed amicably, and I am pleased. My advise to home owners, no matter who they choose, is to ask what is NOT included in the price. In summary, my house is transformed; my neighbors constantly tell me that they can't get over the change, wind no longer blows in around the windows and doors, I can actually open all the windows if I wish, and overall the house is much warmer. Yes, I would hire My Guys again.

I waited one year to write this review because I wanted to see how well My Guys had performed the work. I am absolutely ecstatic about the work that was done by My Guys. The master bedroom is far better at retaining heat during the winter and the cool of the air conditioning in the summer. The room is no longer drafty. My energy costs have fallen by a noticeable amount. What happened is My Guys replaced the cheap cost effective windows and doors that had been installed by the builder with quality windows and doors that will last for long time.

Excellent.  I have dealt with Two Guys when they installed new gutters before on my house.  This time it was 12 new windows.
gain and refer to other people. Prompt, returned all phone calls, took two days for work.  Clean up was excellent.  Would definitely use them again and refer to other customers.  In fact a customer came here on the two days and watched the guys put the windows in and was excited to have them install his windows.

I was first introduced to My Guys Remodeling during a 2014 home show after contacting the James Hardi reps at the show.  I scheduled a time to receive a quote from My Guys and 3 other siding vendors (two were large well known companies and one was a much smaller local company).  All of the initial quotes were relatively close and there was one quote approximately $1,200 less than My Guys.  However, after doing my research, My Guy's outstanding reputation for customer satisfaction and customer service outweighed the 5% savings.  I was unsure of how much work I wanted to do initially, and Dave with Guys made several trips to modify and customize my estimate.  There were a few items that were hard to quote, and Dave had the owners visit me for those items (both Shawn and Joe made several visits).  Dave, Joe, and Shawn invested a significant amount of time to advise me of all of the options for the work I needed completed.  All of my  questions were answered and the scope of work was finalized.  The crew was very professional and always cleaned up well after each day of work.  There was one minor communication issue (at least 1/2 my fault).  I called Joe and he assured me that my concerns would be addressed.  Later that morning Joe called me at work and said that everything was being addressed.  Once I arrived at home that afternoon, the issue had been totally resolved.  My Guys lived up to the stellar reputation they enjoy.  I would have no concerns recommending them, and will definitely call them again with any siding, door, or window work.  The house looks beautiful.

It went wonderfully. I'm a research freak - and Shawn was wonderfully patient with me as I spent at least 6 months researching and getting multiple estimates. He was one of the first estimates I got and was great in responding to my literally TONS of questions throughout that period. He understood that for me, I needed to make sure when spending a big chunk of money, I felt fully comfortable in my decision of who to go with.
They weren't the cheapest by any means - but I also think the value and quality of the product they were offering was the biggest difference. And their warranty is unbeatable!
The team came out and got all windows knocked out in just a few days. Cleaned up well and did a great job. One minor mistake with a single mis-measured window, but they were quick to get the correct size and get it put in, and apologized probably 10 times. :-) Again wonderful product, we're loving our windows, great experience throughout the whole process and I would definitely recommend them, in fact I already have on a few occasions. I'll be calling them back when it's time to do the siding!

Everything is good. It took a little while to get in touch with me but once they did, everything was done correctly and quickly. They were there exactly when they said they were going to be and the job took exactly as long as they said it would.

We were delighted with My Guys from the very first sales contact, through all the work, and are thrilled with the results. Sales process was informative, on time and thorough. First we agreed to the window work, but it took a number of additional visits for the details of the siding repair work to be completed. The estimation of the work was spot on, and the estimate was made using a "worst case scenario." The actual cost of repairs was substantially less than the estimate... a very nice surprise. We had a schedule for painting the exterior of the house by another contractor after the My Guys work was completed. Work was completed well in advance of the requested completion date.

The fellows who did the work were absolutely terrific and well supervised. Work was regularly checked by Joe Bass, one of the owners. My Guys does wonderful work and their philosophy is to do the job perfectly, with customer satisfaction a top priority. The owner came at the conclusion of the job and checked absolutely everything that was done, including operating every single window and inspecting every piece of work that was done. To give an example of their detail consciousness.... the caulking that was used to seal the aluminum trim was supposed to match the trim itself. My wife and I weren't pleased with the color of the original caulk that was used. Joe personally went all around Raleigh gathering different samples of caulk, and came out to our home with about a dozen samples of caulk spread on a spare piece of aluminum trim so that we could select a better match. He actually wasn't thrilled with any of them, gathered a couple of other samples the next day, and came back to check them out. He found a perfect match and the next day the lead workman came back and recaulked all 33 windows with the new caulk. It was a perfect match. They even left us with a half dozen extra tubes of caulk for the painters to use when they reinstalled the shutters.

Unbelievable service, unbelievable workmanship. The workmen were highly professional, very considerate, and fast. Windows were totally sealed and caulked to be airtight. A couple of windows were a bit hard to open immediately after installation, and they actually reset them into their openings to ensure smooth and easy operation. Great attention to detail, and all with a smile. They clearly are committed to excellence with a smile. These guys are wonderful. We highly recommend them to anyone that cares about having wonderful high quality work done. Not cheap, but well worth the price. Wonderful value and wonderful results.

In our initial, shopping around discussion, Shawn was friendly, exceptionally helpful, and not at all pushy. He demonstrated the windows he proposed to install for us, talked about their features and benefits, and described all of the tasks his team would undertake if they were to do the job. When we asked him directly about a competitor’s windows and methods, he did explain some of the advantages of his windows over theirs, but was never actually critical of the product or the vendor. Classy.
Once we elected to go with My Guys, the entire team communicated with us regularly regarding progress on obtaining and inspecting our windows, and to schedule a date on which they’d be able to come and install them. This level of communication continued throughout the job, as well. When the time finally arrived, the installation team showed up on time, and ready to go. They were in and around our house for three days, and were exceptionally considerate of the house, all of the stuff in it (which was occasionally in the way), the kids, and even the dog.
My Guys did every single thing they said they’d do, including removing and reinstalling the blinds, and repairing siding where it was necessary. The quality of the installation work was excellent, and we’re pretty picky. Once the job was done, you’d never have known anybody was there - except that we had a bunch of brand new windows.
In summary: consistent communication, high-quality installation workmanship, friendly, considerate, and respectful installation team, personal and persistent customer service across every aspect of the job. Oh - and awesome windows. An immeasurable improvement over the originals.
I highly recommend My Guys.

The installers came on time and were very efficient in removing the old door. They made sure to clean up the items as they went along.
Joe Boss showed up when they were installing the new door and assisted when needed. They told me they would be done by 2 PM and they were done a little early.
They removed and cleaned up after they were done. I am happy with my new door, as it works a lot better then my old one and has a screen door I can use in the fall.
I would recommend them for any job, I probably will be having them back to do some of my upstairs windows when I get this project paid off.

This round of work with MyGuys was an exercise in complete frustration. It took 2 and a half months to get this work done. Of course when it was time to collect payment the guys were not even off the lot and Joe was at the door with an invoice. We agreed to have the work done on the 6th of June and then black hole in communication. They just finished the last of it today 8/25. I had to contact them numerous times to ask what was going on. Again overall quality of the work was good but this is no way to treat a customer. Overall we have spent almost $30,000 with them and that is the last of it. I would not recommend them to anyone going forward. Their priority is definitely not on customer service and respect for the customers' time unless it suits them. I am very unhappy with the state of affairs and would not use them in the future.

We were very happy with the overall outcome but cracks were starting to appear in working with MyGuys. Communication and punctuality had become a serious problem. Apparently they had decided to expand their business into hardy plank siding and this was sucking up bandwidth. Joe could not be relied upon to make an appointment on time and was frequently up to half an hour late. This was very aggravating. Even so the quality of the work was very good and considering that they had effectively stopped working on interior remodeling they were still doing the windows and we decided to use them for this again as we thought at least this should go okay.
