It was a free service. They were recommended to us. I think their price is certainly fair and they are way better than a Lexus dealer. They are certified in Lexus and they don’t charge nearly what the Lexus dealers do. They are honest and have fair prices. They are just kind of like home folks. It’s not just about the business, they are interested in you in your personal life and we get interested in them.

They service both of our vehicles and they do excellent work. They do all of our work. We’ve been using them for years. We have 2002 Lexus and we’ve been going there since then. They are honest and have fair prices. They are just kind of like home folks. It’s not just about the business, they are interested in you in your personal life and we get interested in them.

Great! I was able to get an appointment quickly, and an estimate was provided before the appointment. Jenny (I think that was her name), answered the phone on the first ring and stayed in touch with me regarding the quote and status of the car. I found the quality of work to be great, and I enjoyed working with Apex Autoworks. Also, the repair cost came out slightly below the quote, which was a plus!

Made an appointment with the polite and courteous receptionist who is knowledgable about auto servicing. An estimate was provided prior to the required service and the work was competed as promised. This is a locally owned business that provides professional, reasonably priced, and quality service to import and domestic autos. It is very rewarding to support a local business and especially one that is honest and professional and most definitely reasonably priced.
I called one of the owners to ask for his advice on my son's car he purchased in Chile when he was having engine issues at the tip of South America. The owner took the time out of his busy day to provide his expert advise and never did I feel I was inconveniencing him as he did not charge for this assistance. It is incredibly awesome to have found a business that truly cares about its customers and provides high quality service at a reasonable price. This is a privately owned NC local business that deserves the support.

The business is run very professionally. They understand that having a car out of commission is a hardship. They get you in fast, get you the info you need and get you back on your way. They fully explain the repairs they do and answer questions patiently until you are satisfied. The bill is detailed and they keep good records.

I needed new tires installed on my car. I ordered the tires online and had them shipped to apex autoworks for installation. I had one bad rim which they found a replacement for and installed. I haven't had any problems with the tires or installation. What really makes this place shine for me was the receptionist who answers the phone. She was really great, answered a lot of questions and cleared up some misunderstanding for me. She spent a lot of time coordinating things for me before I even dropped off the car. She helped me pick the right service and understand what needed to be done for my car. I had researched the company and they had a good reputation. I was pleased with the work but honestly I'm not sure I could tell great work from good work on the car so long as it keeps driving. It was the lady at the front desk who works the phone that really makes this place shine in my mind. I think she went above and beyond for me. As long as she is still there, I won't take my car anywhere else.

A 1997 Ford pickup truck I purchased from a used car dealer displayed the "check engine" light before I got the vehicle home. I searched Angie's List for area auto mechanics and settled on Apex Autoworks based on the good reviews it had received. Apex Autoworks scheduled an appointment and soon traced the warning light display to a faulty emissions control component. Since I had asked for a complete inspection of the vehicle, the Apex Autoworks technician diagnosed a number of parts that need to be replaced: balljoints; sway bar link; wheel bearings; a/c hose assembly; ignition wires, etc. The bill came in at aproximately $2,300...but Apex Autoworks did excellent work and did it promptly -- and the repairs were necessary. I now feel like my pickup truck will get me where I want to go and home again with no safety issues or mechanical worries.

I'm a repeat Apex Autoworks customer with all (4) of my automobiles. Jerry has always been excellent at fixing the problem right the first time. They don't charge more for 'luxury' vehicles and have never tried to up-sell to other services.

I'm not sure about the price, normally I get several quotes but I didn't this time. I did feel they were very knowledgeable. I spoke with the mechanic at length about flushing my tranny, I was concerned about doing this with a 100,000 miles on my car but he said it was better than not doing it. He felt it would be fine. After this work was done the tranny is running better, it's been 2 months and not issues. I was happy with the folks there, they were approachable and my car is running great since. The high cost was related to the struts, but this car (a 2001 Pontiac Grand Prix) always seems to be expensive to maintain.

There was one big hiccup in the overall process, as they didn't have a cap in the shop so they had to have one delivered. While it should have taken 15 minutes, it took nearly 90. I was there about 3 hours, which was an extremely long time to change a cap and monitor for 15 minutes. On one hand it wasn't entirely their fault, but I don't think they were blameless, either. They could have followed up a little more when it didn't show right away and shaved at least an hour off my wait time. On the flip side, they were very friendly and knowledgeable. I'll go back.

Apex Autoworks is really good. We are still having a couple of issues with my car, but they are trying to work on them without having to charge me a lot of money. They are very honest.

We took the car in on Thursday night and they told us on Tuesday (Monday was a holiday) that they had diagnosed the problem and ordered parts, and the car would be ready Tuesday evening. On Tuesday evening they said the parts had not solved the problem, and they were starting diagnosis all over again. On Thursday, they called and said they were giving up and we would need to pick the car up and take it to the dealership, since they have a computer that would help with diagnosis. They charged for the wires they had replaced (even though that did not solve the problem) because they had put so many hours into it trying to diagnose. Meanwhile, I was without a car for 4 days and didn't get a loaner or a rental (thinking the turnaround would be fast). Now I get to start all over again with the dealership.

Great! They were very helpful in listening to my problem, diagnosis was good, and they did not charge me for anything I didn't need. It would have been easy to tell me that my power steering pump failed but instead they charged me to find the small o-ring that was the real problem.

I took my van to Apex Autoworks without an appointment the first time and was told I would have to make an appointment which I did. When I returned on the appointed day, they were extremely professional and friendly and test drove the vehicle to make sure I needed the shocks replaced (which I did). The mechanic who drove the van, took about 10 minutes explaining what he had done and why he thought it needed the shocks. I had to make another appointment to have the work actually done (which I did). I took the van back the night before they were scheduled to work on it. They were not able to complete the work the next day until about 6PM. I had thought the mechanic had told me it would only take about 3 hours to complete. When I was able to get the van back, it rode noticeably better and I have had no problems since the work was done. I would definitely use Apex Autoworks again; however, since they are some distance from my home, I will probably only use them when I need something that is non-routine done.

Went great. The "Service Engine Soon" light was on in my car so I checked Angie's List and found this company. Made an appointment and the problem was diagnosed as a faulty oxygen sensor in the emission system. They had to order the part so I came back a few days later. While I was there, I asked for an estimate on new shock absorbers. Their estimate was far lower than others. I had that done as well.

We have used Apex many times before. The service is always of high quality. They are honest, dependable, and responsible. My dealership recommended an expensive fix to a small problem and Apex fixed it for a fraction of the quote.

I am a frequent customer of this company. I believe that these are honest people. They do not try to take advantage of you. When they find a problem, they help you to know what you can do to fix it or what you can do to keep it going for a while until you can fix it.
