Two months after the initial complaint the window sash was finally installed.
Replacement windows purchased to change out windows 25 years old.
Two ply-gem windows purchased from Lowe's had their interior panes crack for no reason whatsoever.
It took 3 separate visits to get the first window sash replacement measured correctly. During that time another cracked interior pane was discovered.
I was told Lowe's wanted to bring in a company rep from Ply-Gem to determine WHY the window panes were cracking. The rep was supposed to "investigate" why the windows were cracking. After replacing the window sash, and doing nothing else, the rep when questioned by me about his "investigation" proclaimed that it was a stress crack.
For twenty five years, no windows in this house had cracked. For 30 years that I've owned a home I have never had a window pane crack for no reason at all.
I kicked the rep off my property.
