ABSOLUTELY THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I'VE EVER EXPERIENCED! THEY WILL NOT HONOR THEIR RETURN POLICY! I've shopped at this store previously and had no issues (but I've never tried to return anything)l. I was warned by various people to beware of this retailer because they do not honor their return policy. I have not experienced this until now. I received a gift that did not work and was broken in the box. I attempted to return it and waited over 20 minutes for staff to "debate" about the item. A staff member yelled at me accusing me of breaking the item and said it definitely worked. She shoved the manufacturer's information across the desk and told me to deal with the manufacturer myself. I mentioned this was not best practice as I was the customer not the retailer. The retailer should have a relationship with their manufacturers! I was also told they are a "small retailer" so can not offer refunds- yet they have the policy taped to their counter!!! I had the receipt and the item was in the original packaging. The return policy states they will accept returns within 30 days with the receipt and I was within the return period. I received a call from the owner 4 days later stating the item was indeed defective and that I could receive store credit or the manufacturer had approved an exchange. So after being yelled at that I broke the item, the item turned out to be defective. We went back to get our money back and they absolutely would not offer a refund, and again accused me of breaking the item! So I am left with store credit for a store I will NEVER step foot in again. Also their items are way overpriced. Most items are 4x more than on Amazon, and Amazon actually takes responsibility for damaged items. I found out they are going to put my broken item back on the shelf so the next unsuspecting customer can buy it and try to return only to be given a store credit. This store should be blacklisted for scamming customers! BEWARE!!!!
Description of Work: Recommended supposedly "amazing" products that were broken in the box. Refused to return, very rude, dishonest staff and owner. Do not follow their own policies.
