Description of Work: Sale and collection of cost of Silestone Oct. 2006. Product originated from Co. called COSENTINO REFUSES TO UPHOLD WARRANTY PROVIDED US @ 15 yr. warranty . We have had numerous contacts ,service patched flaws as problems continue. The first time introduced to our order process was a visit from an employee who came out to do measurements. Much later into past 2 months far beyond original plan we got info. that our Silesstone was sent to the wrong Home Depot in North Ms. . Wish I would have called it off for a refund then. Its been nothing but trouble and costly since. Upon installation I was told by 1 of the installers beware of using any bleach to clean or get on the Silestone . He knew then what I see now . Since then over time the usual city water passing near the faucet has dulled that entire area and discolored it. Then 1 month later the sink crashed out of its place into the bottom cabinets due to poor installation of adhesive and debree/garbage of pieces of chunks of other silestone pieces from apparantly other jobs. No wonder since I have had then out to repair chips and cracks following the area of the stress caused by the stress where the sink dislodged due to glue used. NO SUCH ANCHORS OR CLIP SYSTEM WAS USED AS NOW WE FACE THE CRACKS CONTINUING TO RUN WHERE ONCE REPAIRED. THE WARRANTY CLAIMS WE MUST HAVE CAUSED ABUSE. THE ONLY ABUSE THIS ENTIRE PRODUCT HAS HAD WAS THE POOR USE OF PROPER INSTALLTION TO CAUSE SUCH A CRASH WHEN NO ONE WAS NEAR THE SINK. IT WAS ON THAT EVENT I FOUND OUT HOW UNRELIABLE THE WARRANTY IS TO BLAM THE CONSUMER WHEN THE MATTER AT HAND WAS THAT THE COMPANY CERTAINLY SAVED A FEW BUCKS INSTALLING THE HEAVY PRODUCT WITH IMPROPER ADHESIVE METHOD USING CHUNKS OF PIECES FROM OLD JOB SITES WITHOUT PROPER CLIP SYSTEM FOR MECHANICAL ANCHORED COUNTERTOP TO LAST CONSUMER W/O FURTHER PROBLEMS.WHICH COST THE CONSUMER DEARLY IN FUTURE USE. DO NOT BE SOLD BY SILESTONE WARRANTY NOR POOR INSTALLATION. CHECK THE MEASURE OF THE TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT USED BY INSTALLERS. ADHESIVE METHODS NEVER LAST AND RELEASE CONTINUALLY OVER TIME DUE TO NORMAL MOISTURE & STEAM FROM YOUR SINK/FAUCET. NOW 7 YEARS LATER THE SILESTONE SHOWS AS IF IT HAS FAR MORE AGE THEN IT ACTUALLY IS. THE DULLNES FROM MERE CITY WATER AT THE FAUCET AREA CHIPS AND A CRACK AT THE SINK CRASH SITE THAT CONTINUES TO RUN . IN DUE TIME IT WILL FALL THROUGH AGAIN . CONTINUES SINCE DAY 1 TO BE COSTLY PRODUCT CONTINUED PROBLEMS. ITS TO THIS PRESENT DAY WE HAVE DEBREE FROM THE PIECES OF CHUNKS OF OLD SILESTONE AND OLD DRYED UP FAULTY ADHESIVE FALLING IN OUR BOTTOM CABINET EVERY SO OFTEN . LIKE SOMETHING THAT SHOULD BEEN IN THIER GARBAGE. THE USE OF CLIPS COULD'NT HAVE BEEN TOO COSTLY. EXPERIENCED VERY DISHONEST AND CHEAP OF THE COMPANY TO CUT COST OF A MERE CLIP METHOD FOR PROPER CARE W/O STRESS OF THE STONE TO BE SOUND AND LAST. THE CONSUMER PAYS IN LESS TIME THEN EXPECTED WITH PROBLEMS . NOW TO STEP OUT OF THE WARRANTY AND BLAM IMPROPER USE AND STRESS . VERY DISHONEST DEALERS CON JOB. TO CHOOSE TO INSTALL EXPENSIVE SILESTONE THE MOST IMPROPER WAY IS NOT THIER PROBLEM .BEWARE HOME DEPOT JUST REPRESENTS THE PRODUCT , SALE, PROFIT AND ADVERTISES THE SO CALLED WARRANTY. Its all pretty the first month or two then time without due time it shows failure.
