There was a little bit of a problem, they missed us in their rounds but they corrected it. The man who did it was very knowledgeable and professional. He talked with me and showed me exactly what he was doing. I was curious but my husband knows about that kind of work. The problem was scheduling but it was corrected right away. It worked out okay. The pricing was very good because I looked around. They were very punctual. They handled the problem professionally. I plan to use him in the future.

They did a fantastic job. They trimmed 2 large oak trees in my front yard and one large maple tree in my back yard. It looks wonderful and more importantly my house and yard are safe from the giant branches that were ready to fall off the trees. They also did an excellent job with the clean up. These guys were great!

They did exactly what they said they would do. I have been very pleased with the results. The trees look great, and we've lost fewer branches in storms this year than in years previously. They only seem to have missed one dead limb in the center of the front Ash tree, which isn't bad considering they did the work before leaves were on the tree in the spring. (I have not contacted them to see if they would get that branch, too.)

Jeff Allen provided an on-site quote and answered all of my questions. His crew showed up, did the work in an afternoon and I could not be happier! They cut down and hauled away an overgrown pear tree up against the house without causing any damage to house or yard. The birch tree looked fantastic after they were done! The crew also did a great job creaning up after themselves - no debris left anywhere on the property. I did have some questions after the jod and Jeff answered them to my satisfaction. I am extremely happy with the job done by Allen's Tree Service and plan to have them do some landscaping later this fall.

Prompt reply to set up estimate. No complaints with the man who came to our property. However, when we called the general office for a follow up question, the lady who answered the phone was rude. She had no desire to help us with our question. They lost our business solely because of this interaction.

I made an appointment for a tree service estimate about a week in advance. I stayed home from work on the appointed day, but the Allen's representative did not come at the scheduled time, around midday. He did not call to tell me that he wasn't coming until very late in the day (around 4 PM). He offered to reschedule, but I did not trust him to show up, nor did I want to stay home from work again for someone whom I did not trust. Ultimately I decided to go with a competing company that was able to keep its appointments. That other company did the work promptly for a very fair price, and their knowledgeable representative spent a long time answering all of my questions. I could not be happier with my decision.

Allen's Tree Service was on-time for both the estimate and the work and was very professional and the work met all my high expectations. I will use Allen's again in the future.

They delivered it on time, and it was good dirt. They dumped the dirt where I told them to -- in fact, they suggested a better place. They were there & gone within a few minutes. This is the second time that we've used them -- the have trimmed a tree for us in the past.

They were good, they were fine. I had no complaints at all and it was a fair price. They are just local so I used them.

Great job in the first large area. Some problems in a second application later in a difficult area of the yard. We're very cooperative and attentive to replacing bad sod and making it right.

I had one large tree to be removed and a stump. They provided an estimate of $5700. Got a second estimate. The company I chose to do the work was also fully insured and had workers compensation and did a great job on time for $1500. It pays to compared bids regardless of the rating on Angie's list.

Got a call shortly after purchasing Angie's List Big Deal to schedule service. Turned out that the work performed under the Big Deal was not what we were looking for. Interaction was prompt, courteous, and professional. Would definitely contact again for other work.

I wasn't present at the time the work was performed, however when I returned home the work was complete and everything was cleaned up!

. They were terrific! The representative came just as promised. Looked at all our trees and explained that what we saw as a problem was our tree recovering from the horrendous drought we had two years ago. He even explained that being such young trees (less than 5 years old), he was surprised how well they all were doing and how tall and full they were. Then, he said there was no charge! When is the last time you have heard that? I mean, it was his time, company time, car and gas, and yet, No Charge! To replace a tree of this size would have cost us a hefty sum ; instead, we feel relief. We are definitely using them this fall!

I called to schedule an appointment to have a japanese beetle infestation take care of. Was told by the woman who answered the phone that they work by zip code and while there is a schedule, they don't really schedule. She would fill out a work order and someone would call me when they could come out to do the work. It could be next week, it could be the week after, it all depends. But I should give her my credit card number so I could easily be charged for the work once it is performed. Wow...completely unprofessional representation of what I had thought to be a reputable company. I hung up and called Davey Tree Service and have an appointment scheduled for next Tuesday at 9:00 a.m.!

Once we signed the contract, it took a little over two weeks for them to come out to do the work. Initially they were not good about keeping me up to date on when the work would be done. They said the crew should be by sometime next week. I reminded them, as was noted on the contract, that I wanted to know when they were coming so that my husband or I could be home. Someone then did call a day or two in advance to let us know when the work would be done. The stump grinding and limb trimming were done on different days which was fine. The crew that trimmed the broken and dead limbs did a great job, actually a little more than I expected. I was pleasantly surprised. They also did a great job cleaning up by raking away all the little bits of branches and leaves. I used a $50 dollar Angie's List coupon which was a help in deciding which company to use.

They were very good. They were very sorrow, and my wife went crazy of what they did. Overall experience, I will give them a B.

The company was on time, were professional, efficient and left our yard looking neat after the tree was removed.

Excellent lawncare services. Very prompt, fast, and thorough.

Although a little costly for what we got, and shrubs were placed in the wrong spot, they quickly fixed that problem and now we are pleased with the outcome. Still wish they were a little more reasonable in price.

.Allen did a great job, the guys did everything we discussed. Clean up was quick and efficent. What was nice about this job, i had to leave town for a family emergency. Allen took care of the job, no problems. Very easy to work with. Would definately hire these guys again. Thanks

Called for estimate and they responded to request promptly. Estimator (Jeff) was punctual arriving for appointment. I am disabled and unable to walk with him to point out trees, shrubs etc we wanted removed, so my husband made up a diagram of the front and back yards with trees, shrubs, etc to be removed. This was given to Jeff when he arrived. He looked at it and asked a few questions which I answered. He wrote up estimate and left. What turned me off the most was his attitude. Although he was nice and answered my questions, he managed to give me the impression he would rather be somewhere else doing something different. Did not use this company's services.
