Called for help for a kitchen sink faucet replaced @18 months ago by another plumber, whom I had called when the faucet started having problems.  Was told by the original, selling plumber that Moen under lubricates their equipment from the factory, so they applied silicone grease to the O-rings.  3 months later, the same problem was occuring.  I called OJLaughlin - a really nice fellow was sent who told me (after calling Moen in front of me)  that the O-rings for my particular faucet had a problem and they were going to send me a kit of new O-rings.  The Laughlin fella did not charge me for this visit, saying that when I got the parts, I should call and he would come back.  They did, I did and he did -- took him all of 10 minutes to fix my faucet with the parts sent directly from Moen.  This guy was honest with me, knew how to handle the problem I was having and did not try to rip me off.  I really apprecioated the service.

The part on my kitchen faucet that was broken was a warranty part; the service technician located the part number in my Owner's Manual documentation and called the manufacturer for a replacement part (which arrived to me within a week).  During that initial service call the technician took time to show/give me some basic information on plumbing items in my home -- which I greatly appreciated since I live alone and know NOTHING about water shut-off valves, etc.  The technician returned per my schedule to install the replacement part.  Very good experience.

The man that  came was the owner. Called to see if he could come early because of inclement weather. He did the job quickly and went down in the basement to put a "flag" on the place where you could turn the water off for the house. Seeing that I was confined to a scooter, he offered to do other things to help like move something out of the way or get something down that I could not reach. Very helpful and pleasant.
He cleaned the garbage disposal with ice. Not sure that I was impressed with that.

I had to call and reschedule multiple times (up to 4 times) an appointment for a plumber to come out and give me a bid for thousands of dollars of work I wanted done to my house. Every time I called I was told that I could just leave information, and they would get back to me. I would wait a week and call back, then they would say the same thing. Finally, I got someone to agree to come out. The day before the gentleman was supposed to come out, I get a call telling me that he is going to have to reschedule from 10 am to sometime after 3 pm. He ends up getting to my house around 3:45pm. He was friendly and knowledgeable, and it seemed like the wait was worth it. However, after he left I waited a week and received no information. I called and was asked who came out to my house. I said I didn't remember, because it had happened so long ago. The gentleman seemed frustrated that he had to look up my information on the computer by my address and name. I was told that the plumber I was trying to reach had already left for the day, so I could leave a message. This was on a Friday. I left a message, and I received a call back within an hour. However, the return call was not from the plumber who had come out, and I was told that I had asked for the wrong person. I apologized, and the gentleman said that he would get me something by Monday. I have waited another 2 weeks and decided to give up, because if this is their idea of professional, I am concerned what kind of work they would do.

He came out on a Thursday of Friday and I wanted to pay him right away but he wanted to wait to make sure it worked before I payed them. It has been working fine ever since.

They came in and identified the problem. It was definitely an excellent experience. He was able to determine where the leak was coming from, the reason for the leak and he was able to take care of it.

They have done good work for me. They were on time, very honest,  and quick to get the work done. 

Service Tech Michael Lubbert (unsure of spelling) arrived promptly as scheduled and got right to work. All 5 jobs were completed satisfactorily in about an hour. I only wish I had the option of giving them an A+. Final bill was for their minimum service charge of $150 less a $25 first time Angie's List customer discount plus the cost for parts. It's been years since we've had plumbers who knew what they were doing and were not interested in padding the bill. While I certainly hope to never need their services again, I certainly hop they are still in business when I do. They get my highest recommendation.

I wanted a new water heater - by the time they finished I had a rebuilt water heater. I did not appreciate this.
I thought the price was a little high. They told me before the service the price and I agreed to it.

They were very good and came quickly. The gentleman that came was lovely and polite.  They had to come back a second time to work on my plumbing issues and I may have to call them again.

I was able to get a "first call" appointment, meaning you would be first on the list at 7:30am, instead of waiting for a window later in the day. That worked out well for me. He was here about one and a half hours. He was able to track down a leak in the basement to an upstairs shower that was old and needed caulked (no plumbing issues with pipes, etc). He had to fix a shower diverter in a downstairs bathroom,. We also had a tub with a drain lever that would not work. He had to replace the unit, but did not have a matching color on his truck so he put in a non-matched unit so we could use the tub, and came back a week later with the correct colored unit and replaced it again with no additional charge. I really appreciated that. Our plumber was very nice and we had great customer service. I will use this company again. As far as pricing, it cost me $300 total. Plumbing is always expensive,  and we did not "price shop" for our small repairs, but I'm guessing this was in the fair price range compared to the going rate.

The plumber arrived right on time.  Took a look at the leak and said it could be done in less than an hour.  He noticed the water shutoff for the furnace humidifier and refrigerator ice maker were old style saddle valves.  He said he could replace those with correct valves within the one hour minimum and it would only cost me the materials.  All work was completed as stated.  He was professional, polite and cleaned up completely when done.  I definitely will use them again if and when I need a plumber.

Not much to describe really...  I called on July 1 and asked if they could be at my place on the 5th or the 6th and was told yes they could be here between 1-4pm, and that the guy would call when he is in the area.
Never received a call, text, or even voice mail.  No one showed up at my door or even in my neighborhood.  Since the issue I wanted addressed wasn't urgent, and I was going to be home anyway, I let the time pass without much of a fuss.  
My first experience with OJ Laughlin Plumbing Co Inc was very good and it is because of that experience I would be willing to give them another call (and also why I gave them a C on what otherwise should be F).  It just won't be anytime soon.  I decided to spend my cash elsewhere.  

I called OJ Laughlin sort of at the last minute as another provider hadn't called me back after 2 days.  Anyway, once I got of a hold of someone, they were able to identify the person who would be here, gave me his name and told me when he would arrive.  Nice touch - especially when the guy arrived 15 minutes early.  
He quickly identified the problem, showed it to me as well as a fix and recommendations.  He was in and out in about 15 minutes and even gave a keychain. 

I was given instructions for how to remove the leaky substance from the walls. The instructions worked like a charm.  Since then, I've not seen any evidence of a problem. 
During a subsequent "Town Hall" I did learn a vacant property in the neighborhood had a serious bee infectation situation!

It went great, they come quick and fix properly the 1st time!

I had two different visits with two different people. This first one came out to fix the urinal and he was supposed to call me back because I had some other work that needed to be done, and he never called me back. The second person came back to clean out the clog and he came out and did that. I'm kind of disappointed that they didn't call me back so I'll have to find somebody else to take care of the other issue.

The plumber from O.J. Laughlin showed up exactly on time. He quickly analyzed the problem and replaced the pump in short order. Also, he improved the discharge line which had a faulty expandable joint. Very thorough and professional. Licensed plumbers can be expensive but OJ Laughlin was worth every penny and they were very accurate on the phone quote.

Overall, we are pleased with the work.

I called them on October 9th. They said they couldn't fix the leaking faucet until I got an estimate. He said someone would call to make an appointment later that week. The following Friday, after no having heard from them, I called asking when someone could come. The same person I talked to before said they were too busy. I called again a week later & finally got an appointment. They gave an estimate & I ordered the service, but they never came out. After a month I gave up & called a handyman service who came out the next day & fixed my leak after hearing I was a member of Angie's List.

We looked on-line for nearby plumbing companies with good reviews and found OJ Laughlin in Valley Park.  Their plumber arrived on-time, thoroughly and professionally fixed our problem, and then asked if there was anything else we needed.  I off-handedly mentioned that the water pressure in our kitchen was low.  He took a look at it, identified what turned out to be a very simple problem and then fixed it for a very reasonable price.  O J Laughlin is our plumbing company of choice.  We were very, very satisfied with their service.

Good discussion about the rough in for my bathroom, but ultimately, the price was more than I wanted to spend.  Very prompt and professional in the bid visit.
