It was exceptional. They went above and beyond. They were no pressure. There is not much attic space. They made sure that I had enough ventilation going into the attic. I used another company for the siding. They checked in to make sure that roof was ventilated properly and the gutters were going to flow properly. I had questions about what the siding company was doing, just for a second opinion and they gave it. They were very unbiased. They told me what to look for. They called to follow up if I sent them an email. They called and made sure that I got the information and if there was anything else that they could do for me. It was unbelievable and they roof looks great. Everything is squared up and it looks really good. They are very good at what they do.

We had three roofers come out to try to diagnose the source of a few small leaks in what was otherwise a perfectly good roof. Two of the three told us they really couldn't find much wrong except for a few popped nails, but Bone Dry pointed out the several items above that needed to be maintained due to the plastic on the flashings drying out over time, and nails popping down through shingles, etc. What really rang true was the leak in our hall bathroom where the water had run in around where the plumbing/vent stack ran out of the roof. They estimated the job on Monday. We had an estimate on Tuesday. We signed it and sent it back on Thursday, and they did the work on Saturday. Very prompt! It hasn't rained yet, but we are hopeful that this has resolved our issues. We would recommend them, and use them again.

He was great! He was very responsive and professional. He was really convincing that he was going to give superior service. He was really able to sell himself and I felt confident that he was going to do a quality job. It is a family-owned business and he promises to stand by the quality. He was willing to come out and just do a free assessment of what might need to be repaired, and then he came back to do an actual estimate and bid. The only thing negative was his initial estimate and the actual estimate were really different. It was in my favor though. He really overestimated how much it was going to cost, and then when he came back to do the bid it was much lower. The actual bid ended up being much lower than the initial estimate. It was a pleasant surprise, but he had given me a heart attack. For 2 weeks I went around wringing my hands thinking, What are we going to do? I kind of felt like it was a gimmick so that people would say, "Only $10,000. What a bargain!"

Excellent crew (Chris and Curtis?) worked diligently in 100 degree heat to get the job done quickly yet correctly. Very impressed by their professionalism and knowledge of roof problems. Only problem was a sign in our yard without first asking permission. Outstanding work done at a good price. Bonus was how very personable and nice these guys were!

I called them out for a quote for a claim on possible hail damage. The sales person came out and took some pics. He said I might not have enough damage for a hail damage claim. The next day, my house was hit by a tornado. I called Bone Dry back and asked them to tarp my roof; they were able to come out that day. They didn't tarp it properly - I was getting water in through nailholes. I decided to still have them re-roof. They seemed to do a good job on the roof -- they did it quickly (within a week) and handnailed the roof down. They were outrageously expensive, however. My insurance wouldn't even reimburse me for the full cost -- I had to eat some of the costs. Also, my city upgraded their codes to require heavier backing. Well, Bone Dry did that on the backside of the house, where the roof was completely destroyed by the tornado, but they didn't do that on the front of the house. They should have replaced the front of the house's wood with heavier backing and should have known the code when they were replacing the front of the house's roof. Also, one of my wind turbines doesn't spin as well as it should, but the other one spins fine.

"{removed member name} First, let me say we are very surprised with the content of your report. We have not heard from you since the install in April of 2013. Also, your home was the first roof replaced after the tornado. And the local municipality changed their local codes after the tornado. We worked with the city through the entire process. They had a representative there once the roof was removed for inspection, we installed the decking per their requirements, and they inspected the roof during every phase. We have documentation of the inspections and final approval from the city. Extra Underlayments were installed per the city's request (ice and water shield). Per the insurance documents you provided us we met all insurance proceeds up to and including the special underlayment and wood replacement. The only thing we explained to you not covered was the upgrade in shingle from a 25 year to a architectural shingle. We quoted the roof replacement on 4/10/13 you signed on 4/13/10 and the roof was replaced on 4/17/13 all this was completed on your time line. Bone Dry Roofing's goal is always provide quality work at a reasonable price. And in this case we did so. If there was a issue with any of the work performed on your home we would have hoped you would have contacted us before reading it 16 months later. And again to reiterate per the city of Hazelwood and their inspection and permitting process it was installed per spec and code. From the beginning, when we were seeking bids, Ron provide the most thorough and complete bid of all the contractors we contacted. He was patient with us while we were deciding and worked with us on getting the project to the cost we had hoped for. We were presented with cheaper bids, but Ron explained each and every one of the differences, and after independently researching his rationale for the differences in his service we concluded he was being forthright with us and looking after our best interests. While the project ended up costing slightly more than we had planned we are satisfied that we got the best for our money and that we will not need to work on this roof for years to come. You get what you pay for and we paid for a roof that should last all of its 30+ years.
The work began within a few days of us signing the contract, and his guys along with the subcontractors were there right on time. They proceeded quickly and diligently and had the old roof off and the new one on before the day was over. The crew was extremely careful in making sure to cover all of the bushes, sidewalks, and driveway, and did a great job on the cleanup after. Once the gutter work is complete I will add an update, but I have no reason to expect it will be anything less than what we've come to expect.

Excellent service from bid to completion. Ron came on time and throughly reviewed the work to be done. Price was reasonable and work was scheduled quickly. The crew that did the work kept us informed throughout the day. They were careful with the surroundings, including an ornamental tree close to the house, and did a thorough clean up when the work was completed.

Bonedry Roofing came out an diagnosed a leak in my living room. Mark determined that the flashing around the chimney was leaking into the house and needed to be replaced. There was also a hole near one of the dormers which was repaired. Additional caulking in various areas was needed to ensure no water got into the house. I had 4" gutters on the front of my house which would not catch all the rain water from the roof. These gutters were replaced so water would not run into the foundation. Bonedry Roofing did a fabulous job. They were prompt and fixed everything on my roof.

From the time they did the estimate to the time they finished the roof, Bone Dry did an excellent job. The man that did the estimate got up on the roof (other companies we had out only stood in the driveway and looked up at the roof) and even got in our attic to check for water damage. It took less then two weeks from the time we signed the estimate to the time our new roof was on. The supplies showed up the day before. The crew manager called in the morning to let us know exactly when they would arrive. The crew manager went through all the roofing supplies with us to make sure everything was there. When we found out the skylight that was to be replaced was not among the delivered supplies, the crew manager tracked one down and went and picked it up so we would not have to wait to have the skylight done another day.
The crew was on time and wasted no time getting to work. I was very concerned about two Japanese Maple trees that are close to my house. I was very impressed when the crew built plywood tents to put over them without me even asking. They put a protective screen over the air conditioner and put tarps all around the perimeter of the house to catch the nails. They even covered our driveway in plywood to protect it from their truck they parked in it.
The crew was fast and efficient and finished in one day. When finished, they did an excellent job of cleaning everything up. They used a magnet on the yard and even looked (carefully, I might add) in my flower beds for any nails or trash.
We chose Bone Dry because they had a large selection of shingles to choose from and they used rigid ridge vents. Their reviews on Angie's list and the BBB were very good. They hand nail everything which we thought was a very big positive. They were not the cheapest quote we got but they were not the most expensive either. I would definitely recommend them!

All work was completed in about half a day. Drop cloths had been placed over shrubs and yard was cleaned up as soon as the roof was done. A magnetic tool was pushed over the yard to pick up nails.
I am very pleased with Bone Dry's work and would not hesitate to use the company again. This was a smooth process due to the knowledge and committment of Sales Rep Brian McNamee. Brian answered all of my questions about his estimate and the roof damage and helped me tremendously with the insurance company. My insurance company commented on Brian's courteous manner and quick response to their questions.
This was my first home insurance claim and I truly appreciate all the help I received from Brian and Bone Dry Roofing.

This is the second time I've used Bone Dry Roofing, and the second time I've been pleased with the results. Ron was extremely responsive and easy to work with. The work crew called when they were on the way, showed up when they said they would, and worked hard for over 10 hours to complete the job... on the (so far) hottest day of the year.

We discovered a leak in our attic in early December and contacted Bone Dry for a quote so we could plan to get it repaired before the holiday. Ron came out within a few days to inspect our roof even though there was still a bit of snow still on it and informed us that there were small holes along the ridge due to poor installation. He provided pictures, explained the repair plan, and gave us a quote and timing estimate so that we could make our decision. He and his team were prompt and professional and we have not had any issues with our roof since.
