 + -1 moreWater was leaking through my chimney, and another big rainstorm was coming. I called Solomon to help since they had put in a bid on replacing my roof and they said they could get someone out before the storm. To my surprise, the supervisor (Jesus) was very greedy. He tried to charge me $1000 for putting plastic wrap on the chimney. I ended up paying him $250 which was less than the damage to he interior would have been, since another rainstorm was about to come in. But it was still highway robbery to charge a person $250 for $2 worth of plastic wrap and five minutes worth of time. What a rip-off! My emails about this to the owner of the company went unanswered, and I ended up using another company for replacing the roof and working on the chimney. They may have gotten $250 for plastic wrap, but they lost a much more expensive job.

Description of Work: They rebuilt a room which had been infested with termites and also had mold. They also put in new in floor electric heat and laid new flooring. They installed a new roof. I was extremely satisfied with both their work and response. Will use them again and would recommend to all.

 + 0 moreGreat professional job. Mark Solomon reviewed the job and provided a quote in a very timely manner. Work on the roof was started within a week of down payment (due to material lead time) and progressed nicely. There was a small delay in the gutter timeline due to the requirement for a custom gutter, but while we waited for that to be constructed, the workers protected the lower areas of the mansard and ledge with asphalt material so there would be no damage to it in the event of rain. Great guarantee on the work - with the level of service and attention provided during the job, we are sure that if we need to call about something, that we would receive the attention concerning it. All in all, we are happy with the work, would use Solomon again and would recommend them to others.
Description of Work: Application: 115 year-old house in Soulard area. Coat flat roof and parapets with energy efficient, white, reflective sealant covering. Repair minor wind damage. Install new custom gutter below mansard on front of house.
