Penney Window came out to check the window and determine where and why it was leaking.  They advised us to get a new window and gave us an estimate.  We later set a date to replace the window when it came in from being ordered.  Everything went as stated and planned.

I was really impressed with the two guys who did the installation. They did a wonderful job. I only got one estimate and assume that their pricing was fair. They had to reschedule several times because of rain. I thought that they stayed around longer even after the rain stopped.

I liked their product. I liked the representative who came out. He was straight forward and to the point. It only took about half an hour at the maximum versus someone else that came out which literally took me three and a half hours. They were going to do the exact same thing; I was comparing an apple to an apple. I would absolutely use their services again in the future.

They gave me the best bid.  I have worked with them before, and they have repaired some of my windows.  They always have done an excellent job, so I probably would go with them.  We bought some windows about 20 years ago from some company.  They guaranteed about the windows material; but they didn't guarantee it is for the sake of the company.  When they went out of business, the windows started to deteriorate.  I wanted windows to stay open.  There wasn't anything that I didn't like.  The young guys who came to the house, gave me the quote, and gave me those precise totals, exactly what we needed to have done.  He also made a little bit sales pitch.  He made price comparison between replacing all the windows and new windows.  He was pretty flow in what he was deciding to do.

Took the broken out window in the frame into Penny, which is just down the street from our house.  Took it in on a Wednesday night and it was ready by that Saturday.  We replaced the glass with plexiglass.  The window frame is over 50 years old and a fairly light aluminum, so I wasn't sure if they could use the old frame or not, but they managed to get the plexiglass in, along with the weatherstripping.  I was able to reinstall the panel after removing the protective plastic coating on the plexiglass and washing front and back.  It looked good as new.  Can't even tell the window is plexiglass and not real glass.  Penny always does a good job.  We've used them for years and they are very prompt and professional.  They aren't a big outfit, but they do a great job and always have things done when promised.

We had called nine different window companies in the St. Louis area, none of which would even come to give us an estimate.  Some said it was because they hadn't installed our windows, and some said it was because the job was too small and not worth their time.  But Penny Window fortunately came to look at our windows, gave us an estimate, and did the job.  It appears (from the ground) that they did a good job.  One thing that did surprise us, was that they wanted us to give them a deposit (which wasn't mentioned prior, but I understand in this economy) and asked for our credit card information over the phone.  When we asked how much, the guy on the phone said, "Ummmm, $100??", as if he was just making it up on the fly.  This made us a little uneasy, so we said we'd call back.  The next time we called, we talked to our estimator, who reassured us that this was standard.  So we went ahead and gave them our credit card information.  If they had mentioned a deposit and the amount at the time they gave the estimate, we would have been more comfortable, but overall, it was still a good experience.  They were fine to work with and they got the job done.

They completed the repair in the time frame they estimated.  They did a nice job on the window pane itself but I discovered when I tried to put the window back in that one of the latches was not properly matched.  I could not open the latch mechanism because they had installed a latch such that it was blocked by a screw in the window.  I called them and they sent out a repairman.  He arrived on time and was professional.  He fixed the latch quickly and the window worked well after that.

Overall, they did a nice job, however, I was annoyed that I had to take a morning off from work so that they could re-repair the latch.

The technician arrived as scheduled, and very quickly replaced the crank assembly.  Some wood trim had to be removed and replaced, and it was so expertly done that one can hardly see that the wood work was disturbed.  The window opens very well.

Great experience overall. Greg showed up for the estimate on time and was very knowledgeable. Greg is NOT paid on commission . Penny window doesnt play the "on sale" or negotiating game. They give everybody the same low price the first time. Penny was $300-$400 less expensive than a couple of big name window companies that I also got estimates from.Thats a BIG difference on a $938 dollar job.The quality of the window was also better than the other 2 companies I got quotes from. Windows were ordered and took about 3 weeks to arrive. The installers,Mark and Chad showed up on time and were very efficient and professional.Easy to talk to also and didnt mind answering questions. The installers are employed by Penny, they are NOT sub-contractors. Overall a GREAT experience. If your in the market for new windows definately give them a call.

It was a good experience. they were always early which is a big one. They were all nice and professional, fixed all the windows properly. They did measured the screens wrong in the shop, but fixed the problem without hesitation. I thought the price was also fair. Good experience overall, I would use them again.

Fine, everything was done as the company had indicated in the amount of time estimated and within the cost estimated. At my request, they also reinstalled the alarm connection on the window replaced.

It went great. They were punctual for the estimate - arriving minutes before the appointment. The doorways were oversized - both in width and height, but they were immediately able to show me the choices. The written estimate was given either that day or within a few days. Installation was about a month out because of the custom sizes requried. They came at the appointed time, completed the work neatly with care. The doors are of great quality and the price was very reasonable. I will definitely call them again for future projects.

I originally was just going to have 3 windows replaced in the front of my 1931 S City bungalow. I got a bid from Penny after getting two other bids from "big name" window companies. Penny was about 30% cheaper than the cheapest big name. I then decided to go ahead and have all 13 windows replaced in the house since Penny offered such a good price. They replaced the original windows in the house with wood interior/extruded aluminum exterior Quaker brand windows. They finished the job in 3 days- one day longer than estimated but one of the crew got sick and one set of windows required some rebuilding of the framing. The windows operate great and look good. Ken and Mike did a good job of installation and cleanup.

This was a very huge project. Received several bids from other companies, most could not do a window the same size which is what we were looking for. Penny Window did not have a problem with the size of window. Price was much lower in fact by almost $5000. Window was replaced with double pane, tempered glass with argon gas inside. Penny sent two crews to work on removal and replacement of this very heavy window. Extremely professional guys. Old window weighed approx 600 lbs and it was removed with great caution and expertise. New window installed, caulked & sealed and all wood outside was again covered with aluminum. Everything completely cleaned up inside and out. It looks fantastic. Could not be happier with new windows and Penny Window Company .

They came out and put in an entrance door. I gave them a call for some warrantee work because the door was warping. When they came out they told me that the door was no longer in production so they did a lot of research for me and found a door that was equivalent. They were very nice to honor a technically void warrantee. They had me pay cost for the door and didn't charge me for installation. They were nice to work with. They were on time. I did have some issues with how long it took to get a response from them, but they did always call back.

They did a great job and were very inexpensive. They really cleaned up well afterward, they vacuumed and swept and cleaned up all the smeared caulking as well, I would recommend them to anyone.

They were very professional, polite and punctual. The first person came in and looked at all our windows and re-adjusted most of them, so they would move freely. Then the second person came later with the parts and fixed the broken window and the lock. He went the extra mile to exchange the blinds in the kitchen and did not charge any extra money for that. Who does that these days? I was totally impressed. I will always hire them for any door and window work!
