Met with a friend for lunch a few weeks ago and she was wearing her baby bracelet. Please note that way back when, many hospitals identified newborns with actual beaded bracelets with names engraved on white beads with the remainder of the bracelet in pink or blue beads strung and tied by string. My friend's bracelet was done at Lady Bug Beads, an arts and crafts store where everyone can design and make their own jewelry. They also will do the work for you. They helped me pick out the additional beads needed and closure and safety. The magnetic closure and safety clasp were sterling silver. I asked them to do all the work. The estimated price was approximately 29.00 and pick up date was ten days later. Three days later received a phone call that the bracelet was ready for pick up. Actual price was 21.00. They said there was a 30 percent sale on some items. The bracelet looked great and professionally done. Everyone was exceedingly nice and helpful. The variety of beads was amazing plus they had all sizes of charms. The displayed completed bracelets and necklaces were great. Had a really good time!
