Nick was great and very patient. We had issues with closing on a HUD foreclosed home, so the process took a lot longer than we originally thought. He came in to do the quote in sub-zero weather and started ordering the windows. there were some small issues with his painter and them doing the first coat in the wrong color, but Nick was on it when I called and it was corrected the next day.
i love, love, loved the work of his sub-contractors on the windows and doors. they are just beautiful. i'm very picky about the caulking as I paid my way thru college by painting professionally. I do not like contractors that do sloppy caulking jobs and these were perfection. i still have the front entrance door and two exterior doors off the garage that need replacing - i'm also wanting to add another window in our garage. Will definately be calling Nick for those jobs.

Nick came and gave us a bid. The following week, they came to do the job and were done in three days. This was a big job but we had two mistakes which were promptly corrected on a follow up visit. Everything was done quickly and professionally. We are very satisfied with the work done.

Nick and his wonderful workers Matt & Dave... went above and beyond! They are truly professionals. Matt & Dave showed up at the house on time everyday (10 days) on time and ready to work, they cleaned up everyday and were complete professionals. I would recommend SNL for the job at hand. Great job guys!!

This painter picked up the ball when it was dropped by another painter. Original painter did not show up on day he was scheduled. All furniture had been moved out of rooms so did not want to replace and have to move it out again. SNL painting sent Dan on short notice and he completed the job in one day.
Dan did an excellent job and accomplished more than I thought possible in one day.

Nick repsonded promptly to our request for a quote and provided a detailed description of the work to be done. The price was in line with other quotes received. We requested the job be done prior to Thanksgiving and Nick worked with us to be sure the work was completed on time. Nick accomodated our request for a specific paint product and provided feedback on colors.
Dave and Matt arrived promptly as scheduled. They were personable and professional. They did a great job on the patching, wallpaper removal and painting and cleaned up when the job was complete.
We will definitely use SNL Painting again in the future.

SNL Painting is a reliable and reasonably priced painting company. Nick, the owner, came out to provide an estimate for our home. He was extremely honest and willing to work with us on the price of the total quote of our new home. Nick was also able to work with our schedule and were able to start when we ideally wanted them to. Our new home was empty, and we provided Nick with a key in order for the painters to come in and work without us being there all day. The painters showed up when they said they were going to, worked quickly and efficiently. They cleaned up after themselves everyday and left no mess. They could be trusted, were extremely thorough and we couldn't be happier with the finished result! We also saw one room finished and we realized we chose too light of a shade. Nick responded quickly, the color was changed, and the additional cost to do so was fair. We can confidently say that SNL painting comes highly recommended and we will be happy to use them in the future! They were phenomenal!

Todd and Ryan arrived promptly at 8:00 am. When Ryan started applying "Linen White", the Benjamin Moore paint I had chosen for the ceiling, I realized it was too creamy and asked if I could change my mind and get an off white color that would provide a crisper look and a sharper contrast to the gold walls. They said, "Sure, no problem" and promptly went out and got an antique white that was perfect for the ceiling. Both Todd and Ryan were pleasant and professional. They worked steadily and cleaned up after themselves. I love the new paint job and I told Nick that I would definitely call him back to do the bedrooms and baths when I choose my color schemes for those rooms. This was not an easy job. Vantage built our home and McBride bought them. Our house was a model home for two years before we bought it. Because of the floor design, the kitchen, dining room and living room are essentially one large room. Although I tried to find out what color they had used to paint this house, McBride had no records. I tried to get it matched at various paint stores and finally got a close match at Cooper's Paint Store on Manchester. Nick checked my colors and advised me on what to use. He preferred Antique White for the ceiling, but I opted for Linen White, only to change my mind once I saw it up on a large patch of ceiling. Next time I'm listening to Nick! I will definitely use SNL Painting again.

I called Nick in a pinch. I needed two rooms in my house painted before the St. Charles Historical Society's House Tour. I only had a week before the tour. He patched and painted the rooms in less than two days and they look wonderful. His crew kept my house clean and you would have never known my house was just painted. I plan to use Nick again and would highly recommend SNL Painting.

The work performed was completed before my estimated due date. I was notified before service and did not need to do anything on my own to prepare for the work to be done. I went to work and came home to completely finished job and beautiful home. I was follow up with after the work was completed to be sure that everything was great and to let me know if I saw anything that needed attention to let them know. Everything turned out perfect with no surprises and there were not needs for any return visits. A job well done!

Nick and his team did a truly fantastic job. Not only did he fit me into his schedule so we could move into our new house on time, he also went above and beyond matching more expensive paint colors we wanted, to a more cost effective paint, that looks fantastic! His team of professionals was on-time and very precise! We contacted SNL to paint the inside of our 1 1/2 story house, including the basement.
Their pricing was considerably less than one competitor and right in line with another.
Nick's quote was much more detailed than the other guys which gave us a comfort level with him.
We placed the order and set up a schedule. We had to change the schedule at the last minute which Nick handled with no problem. Once the job started his crew showed up on time every day. They left the house clean and were very careful to pick up after themselves each day.
The quality of their work was excellent. The walls were prepped perfectly and they repaired any flaws or nail holes without being asked. The finish work around door frames, cabinets and woodwork was very good. The transition between paint colors was flawless...clean and straight with no bleeding of colors. On the last day the crew leader did his own punchlist and corrected the few issues we had without me saying a thing. They basically treated this job like it was their house.
If another paint project comes up, we will use SNL again.

Nick sent a great team, Nick, Todd & Dan to paint house house. These guys were friendly, prompt and very professional. They arrived on time daily, were efficient and courteous while they were in our home. They finished the job earlier then expected and made very little mess while they were working. I would highly recommend SNL painting for any painting job you might have in your home. If you get the Nick, Todd & Dan team, then you have lucked out!

We were needing the exterior of our house painted before a wedding shower party we were throwing and Nick and his team did an outstanding job getting the job done on time and with exceptional results! There were several extremely high spaces to get to and they did it professionally and safely.
They also worked quickly and cleaned up after themselves. It was so nice to have somebody show up as agreed to, deliver an outstanding service and not require me to babysit them throughout the process.
Nick was super nice and patient with both me and my wife, explaining all our options and pointing out things we hadn't though of so we were informed. You could really tell he wanted to make sure we were happy and I really appreciated that.
There was only one tiny issue - one of his painters missed a small corner of trim above our laundry room. With one quick phone call (and after we paid him), he had one of his guys come out and touch it up. I mention that because it's nice to know when someone else cares about getting the job done right - even after they've been paid.
We'll definitely be using them again and I wouldn't hesitate in referring them to any of our neighbors.

The Owner called me immediately, scheduled an evening appointment and came out within a few days. He was very thorough and provided a detailed quote. My only complaint was that it took a little longer to get the quote back than I expected. This may be due to the fact that he was subcontracting out some carpentry work that was needed along with the painting. I have recieved personal recommendations from two people on this company. They do great work and I would recommend to others. I didn't use him because another personally recommended company came in with a quote that was about 20% lower.

I called Nick and he responded promptly with a call. A couple days later he came out for an estimate and I scheduled hin to do the work. His crew of two cam out and painted the ceiling, trim, doors and walls perfectly. They were very nice and cleaned up after themselves. I could not have asked for a better job. I will likely have them out soon to touch up a few rooms that I just had painted in November by another firm on angieslist that did a poor job.

They set up a spraying booth in our garage for the doors and drawer fronts. They took great care to mark the doors/cabinets as they removed them for spraying. They brushed the cabinets in place and used plenty of dropcloths to protect rest of kitchen. They were promt ecah day, tidy with their work and the cabinets look fantastic. They left no trace that they were here except a job well done.
