Did a thorough examination of my dryer and isolated the issue but was unable to repair it. He did not charge me. Very competent but this one was first he has encountered that he could not fix.

Set up appointment a couple of days ahead for a 1-2 hour window. Paul called when he was on his way as he promised. Arrived on time. Replaced the broken belt and the second belt that was nearing the point of failing. Was done in less than an hour. Very kind, pleasant and thorough. Have recommended him several times to friends since then and will definitely call him again when needed!

Called for a "tune-up" on older model Maytag washer & dryer.  Basically wanted them checked out for any needed repairs or maintenance that might be needed.  Paul came at appointed time & checked both machines & advised as to what his recommendations were.  Neither needed any repairs but advised as to what we could do in future if need be.  He also noticed dishwasher & newer oven & gave us hints as to keep them both running smoothly. 
On leaving, he said if we needed any advice on purchasing appliances to give him a call  -  his advice is free.

Called to come a day earlier than scheduled.  Gave estimate.  Fixed machine.  Made sure he explained the problem.

Was done in about an hour and 10-20 minutes. Dryer works wonderfully. Gave us other pointers about taking care of dryer to prolong its function and life. Thanks, Paul!

My washer started leaking water in front. I called after checking Angie's List and Appliance Wizard was top rated. Very punctual, upfront about costs, offered a rebuilt part, but I asked for new one and he was here and done within an hour. Would recommend services for honesty and timeliness.

The dryer stopped drying the clothes. I looked up appliance repairs on Angie's list, found the Appliance Wizard listed with a good report. I called the number listed and left a message. In a short time, I received a return call and was able to discuss the problem and set an agreed-upon date and time (an hour's lee-way: expected to arrive between 9:30 AM and 10:30 AM). At 10:00 AM of the agreed-on day, the contractor called to let me know he would not be able to make the schedule and stated when he could get there. It was acceptable, we agreed to that, and he arrived when stated. The contractor kept me informed of what he found, what he needed to do, what he could do, and allowed me to select what would work best for me. He offered insight and recommendations on what appeared to have caused the problem and what steps I could take to minimize the chance of it occurring again. He was conscientious in cleaning up, and was respectful and courteous in all ways. The work was done in good order and in a reasonable time frame. Good value was added to the work done. I would have no hesitation calling on the company again if service is needed.

He was good enough to give advice on the particular model I had regarding reliability and what parts usually need replacing and recommended operating procedure to prevent a breakdown based on the repair history. He also showed me how to access it myself in case it ever happened again. The charge for his service call is extended for 7 days after the repair just in case it happens again.

I ended up having two stack washer/dryers needing service at my rental property. The first one was an older unit notorious for being hard to service and find parts for. Paul explained everything in detail to me, giving me choices before any money spent. He warned me that the first older G.E. would be a toss-up as to whether it would last or not, since it was in such rough shape. I decided to go ahead and replace the thermostats, which he found for me cheaply. Later, the thermostat did go out again, and he replaced it at no charge. He fixed the other machine which had a problem pumping out the water. He also went over that machine and fixed anything he saw that needed attention. He was very fair in the way he charged. He is very detail-oriented and reflects that in writing up his statement of service as well. He was punctual, easy to get along with and very polite and respectful. I would recommend him highly to anyone needing repair of any large appliance.
