The techs providing the initial activation in the spring came and turned the system on, performed the backflow test, checked each zone and adjusted, repaired or replaced the needed parts.  The replacement parts were at our expense, but the work was done promptly, efficiently and professionally.

This hear was the first time we used the mid season service.  One area of the lawn always seemed to suffer under extreme heat conditions in past years, so we purchased the mid season service to check the system for proper operation and make any adjustments.  The tech that did the mid season check noted the problem with one head, changed out the orifice for a higher capacity, adjusted another head discharge pattern and made some other adjustments to make the system more efficient and effective.  We were glad we signed up for the mid season service and will do so again in 2014.

The fall winterization went fine and was done quickly. 

The service techs are always on time and if they will be significantly delayed, normally call and let us know.

This company has always been very professional and we will continue to do business with them for the foreseeable future.

It went very well.  My neighbor has a system too and we schedule both of our systems on the same day in the spring and fall to help them save coming out twice.  I do hope they appreciate our doing this small part to help them.

We had our sprinkler system installed by Metrol Lawn Sprinklers & Landscapes in September, 2007.  We have continued to use them for servicing the system.  They do the Spring Activation, Backflow Test and Winterization.  They also take the responsibility of sending the Annual Backflow Prevention Test Data and Maintenance Report to the Public Water District to be kept on file and install the required tag on our system.   In the Spring they check all areas to ensure there are no leaks or breaks in the system and all heads are working properly.  The Techs are courteous and always willing to take the time to answer any questions we may have.  We receive a renewal contract in January every year and sign up and pay for the complete basic package, then we are done.  However, they do offer the option to pay at the time of each service.  Metro Lawn sends a post card to remind us to set up an appointment for the required services in our package, which is very convenient for us.  We have been highly satisfied with their product and services.

I have always found Metro Lawn Sprinklers to be very dependable and their service techs are always kind and personable. They always ask me if I have any questions or specific concerns with my system.  When I first got my system they walked me through the programming cycles so that I could do myself and make changes as I saw needed.  I would highly recommend this company for installation as well as maintenance of a lawn sprinkler system!
In regards to lawn assistance, I used this company to aerate and seed my rental property lawn.  The technician did a great job and I saw results in my yard within the following two weeks!

Overall, I am very satisfied with the installation.  The price was reasonable, and the work was done well.  When there was a small mistake, it was corrected very promptly.  I would recommend them to others.

I've been using Metro for several years to service and maintain my lawn irrigation system.  Their service is very punctual and professional.  For this service date, the serviceman actually arrived over an hour earlier than expected (I had a service appointment window of between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.), which was fine with me (I'd rather have them come EARLIER than expected than later! :) ).  The system was completely drained and blown-out, and the system prepared for the winter season.  Although I think that Metro's pricing is a bit higher than others for the same comparable services, I am very pleased with their consistent level of service, and I plan to continue using them for my lawn irrigation system maintenance needs.

Went excellent. Salesman was very informative, took time to answer my questions, and I felt very comfortable doing business with him. I got bids and they were right in the ballpark. Installation was right on time and finished on time. Installer boss explained to me what they were doing and upon completion, he demonstrated that the system was working correctly and he showed me how to use the system. Was very friendly and let me ask questions. System continued to work fine the rest of the summer until we winterized it recently. Would strongly recommend this company.

Excellent!  They installed the system within 2 days as we moved into a newly built home.  They worked around our plans for a fence and completed on schedule before sod was installed.  Works great, polite workers, organized and clean.  Afterward, they came by to check if everything was okay and we were getting the proper coverage with the sprinkler heads.  They replaced a head or two after they were damaged by the sod installers when they graded the yard.  But wait...that's not all.  At the first night it was supposed to freeze in October, we got an email and a personal phone call making sure we knew how to protect our back-flow system from freezing since we hadn't closed the system yet.  Then they closed then they closed the system at the end of October and were polite and quick about it.  Great experience from the first time we contacted them to the present.  We won't use anyone else.  These days, it's hard to find a good solid company with great customer service that treat their customers with respect.  Excellent, excellent, excellent.  Don't go anywhere else. The installation crew was very hard working, professional and courteous.  They were careful to not damage the lawn.
Plenty of instructions on how to use it.  A month later, we had them come to shut it down for the winter, and saw the same quality of service as during the sale and installation.

Metro sent out a large crew and finished the installed in one day.  They had to dig a very large whole to get to the water line.  When they were done, you card barely tell anything had be done.  They took exceptional care to replace turf.  Fantastic experience.

The worker completed the task quickly.  It was raining.  He gave us copies of the backflow report he was submitting to the City and said everything was fine and operating as it should.  That night we heard water running all through the night.

By the next morning we had to turn off the system, as it had been programmed to run for hours  - all 12 zones for 30 minutes each.  We had to look up instructions in youtube to be able to stop the water.  Later on we also discovered some of the heads were not working properly and some will need to be replaced due to changes in the lanscaping.

Met with us on a Saturday. Timely and professional. Gave us bids on replacing some sprinkler heads. Gave us instruction on using/operating our sprinkler system as we are new owners of this house.

It went great!!!  They didn't mind us asking questions during the installation.  Were respectful of the property at all times.  Felt sorry for the installation folks.....they were working in the rain.

Metro did a great job. I was given their name by my yard service and from the time I called them the experience was outstanding. They worked with me on what coverage I would need without overselling. Their bid was in line with my expectation and even though my ground was hard and they had to reroute the main line to find some better soil, they did not charge more than their original bid.

Could not be happier.  Professional operation from start to finish.  I would highly recommend this company.

Installed two sprinkler zones with master control sprinkler system.  Control panel in garage.  Had to boar under the back driveway to continue laying system in the back yard.  We have (8) zones with 38 heads and (1) backflow meter.  We maintain a annual contract with them to turn on the system in the spring &  test the backflow meter.  They return in the late fall to winterize the system.  Overall we have been satisfied with their service.

You must call Metro for an appointment.  You must be home when service is provided and the staff does a good job getting there in a time frame that  works for you!  The rep is courteous and knowledgeable and works with experience.  Each rep has been a friendly face to open the door to and I appreciate this!

Our sprinklers needed to be winterized. The company that installed them the year before did not answer calls and emails so my husband picked Metro from the yellow pages. They came out the afternoon he called and did the service. We will definitly be contracting them for the ongoing sprinkler maintenance.

Metro originally installed our lawn irrigation system in 2000.  We have had an annual service contract with them every year since and have been extemely well pleased with their service, service personnel and the cost of the service.  Over the years some repairs and modifications have been needed which were taken care of efficiently and economically.  In most cases the work could be done within the alloted time of the contract agreement.  They always arrive when promised and are very professional and personable when doing the work.  We will be renewing the contract with them for 2013 and have included their new service of a mid-year check up.
