The staff there repaired it on the spot within 5 or 10 minutes as I waited. That repair is still holding true today, 2 1/2 months afterwards.

Nottelmann has more than met our musical instrument rental needs. They came to my son's school for orientation last August. I signed the clarinet rental contract and paid the deposit while they were on-site without having to make a special trip to their shop. The employees graciously answered my questions even though it was chaotic and the lines of waiting parents had been long.
They had instruments on-hand and we were able to take the clarinet home that very night! Nottelmann sends out monthly statements to their rental customers and it just so happens I did not receive one for April, so, I was able to pay in-person yesterday while already there for my son's weekly private bass lesson.
I would highly recommend Nottelmann for instrument repairs - especially a guitar re-stringing. We did not purchase my son's bass guitar there but they are pefectly willing to change just one string if that is your need, plus, they'll let you watch and learn. My son broke his and quot;Gand quot; string three times in the first three months he had his bass and Nottelmann fixed him up every time. This is a service Guitar Center WILL NOT provide. GC will ONLY do a full-set re-string. If you happen to break one string or need them all, try Nottelmann. They'll gladly accept your business.
If you are looking for great service, you're in for a real treat at Nottelmann. I witnessed a borderline belligerent customer interact with an employee while sitting in-store during my son's bass lesson. To make a long story short, the customer was treated with nothing but kindness and respect even though it was not deserved in my opinion. Way to go Nottelmann and keep up the great work!!
