MISSOURI BAPTIST BREAST HEALTH CENTER

I had an annual screening mammogram that yielded an abnormal result. The Missouri Baptist Breast Health Center (MBBHC) staff called my home and left a message. I was out of state on vacation. MBBHC called the following day and left another message. I was still out of town. MBBHC called the following day and left a message suggesting I contact my personal physician. I picked up all of these messages on one call while on vacation. I called the Center and arranged a follow up exam for the day after my return from vacation. I was able to get an appointment when I wanted one and the staff was very helpful. MBBHC staff explained the abnormality and the testing to be done. On the day of the exam, my test was about 30-minutes later than my appointment, but that was the only service flaw. The staff in the Center were each professional, confident, and reassuring. They explained their testing plan and the outcomes expected. They treated me in a polite and personal way and were concerned for my privacy. When my testing was completed and interpreted, they called me aside to deliver the news in private and shared my relief that the news was good. They are an extraordinary team of caring professionals!
