Since I have had bad luck with "Big Deals" I was wary but decided that, since I had excellent prior experience with this company  doing over $7,000 worth of painting & carpentry work, how could I go wrong?   My in-wall light timer broke & I needed it replaced to control my outdoor lights as I was going out of town.  I called about 2 weeks before Xmas & Ron came in about a week.  Ron & James had done the exceptional jobs for me before.  On the Fritsch site a temporary warning appeared that said the company had no licensed electrician but when I went to reviews I saw that they had done electrical work for other clients.   My very un-handy husband had installed the original timer so I figured it did not require an expert.   Two different hardware "experts" sold me two different timers that should work.  Ron started with one but later decided the other was better.  He proceeded to read the directions & worked & worked at it.   From the start he complained that he is a trained carpenter & didn't understand why Jon sent him to do this job.  He was so afraid that he would get fired that he kept at it trying different wire connections.  All the while I am thinking "do I get to pay for his learning experience?"  Didn't keep track of how many hours he spent & he finally said that he would have Jon come the next day as "he knows more about this stuff".  Well guess who showed up -  Ron.  After wasting more time he finally gave up.  Evidently the codes have changed & the wiring is not compatible with the new timer.  Jon finally came & said I would need a different kind of timer that he would have to order online.  He charged me $40 for the timer, & came & installed it in about 20 minutes.  I had to call every time to get the other jobs done but eventually Ron did stabilize the post & do the plaster work.  Again I had to call to get the plaster sanded down.  James came & did that in Feb. & also hung the blinds.  In the meantime another urgent job presented itself so I had James get to work on it figuring that there would be cost, beyond my "Deal"  to complete it.  James dismantled one of my front steps which would need some cement work.  Since the weather was too cold to do that he said he would buy the necessary cement & wood & return when it warmed up.   In the meantime I became ill with the shingles, then a bad cold & light-headedness which remains so have done nothing about getting my work completed.   I hear you advertise your "guarantee" constantly so maybe you can help.   I am 87 years old & am rather unsteady on my feet & am left with my front steps in a semi-hazardous condition.

Garage issue went well. There was a problem with the window box brackets that necessitated refabrication (not a problem associated with this contractor), however when it came time to install the new brackets the workman did not have the the appropriate masonry bit. I was then charged the travel time for him to go get the bit. Since this was the same workman who took down the brackets I would expect he should know what materials he needed to get the job done and would show up with them in the first place. When I brought this point up to the owner (who was also familiar with the project having been to the house and handled the brackets) he asked "what are you trying to do squeeze me out of $60". I responded that I thought it was not appropriate for me to be penalized because his workman was ill-prepared. I also told him that I thought his response to the problem was not professional. I ended up paying the full price because I found it distasteful to argue with him any longer. I can't recommend this contractor to anyone.

I was very impressed. 
John set everything up. He called the day after I placed the order. 
He told me he would have someone out on Thursday morning
He was early for the appointment ( I apologize I cannot remember his name). He did an exceptional job on the everything. 
I previously had 2 other companies put a toilet paper holder up and both times it fell off the wall. 
He did it right and it has stayed on.
I will definitely use them again. The screens were replaced and are done better than new.
My lock is fixed.

I bought a coupon for 4 hours of handyman work. James showed up on time even though I learned later it was nearly an hour drive for him to my residence. He was extremely professional and helpful; recommended the appropriate action and did a great job. He went the extra mile to make sure I understood what he was planning to do to ensure we were on the same page...which I appreciated. James' work was superb and I would not hesitate to hire him again for other projects.

It was good.  There was an issue with when they would come.  I had to call them and get everything straightened out, I forgot what the issue was but it took awhile to get them out.  I think it was about $200.  The gentleman that was here could have more professionalism.  They have a big crew and that is a positive for them. 

The individual who came out to lay the floor (the first person who initially came to my house was ill on the install day) did an excellent job. He was knowledgeable and made recommendations for best service. I trusted him totally and am very pleased with how the rooms came out.

They are superior in their work.

Great!  Jon & his crew did exactly what we needed. Very prompt and professional. Will use again!

They took off my siding, opening a hole through to the kitchen sink. This saved me ruining my nice granite countertops by accessing things from outside.

They also went into the basement and opened a clean hole in the drywall and framing. The work was very smooth and they were easy to work with.

Will use again.

The provider arrived ten minutes early.  He obviously knew everything he needed to know to do the job.  There were logistic problems because of the design of the attic space and he talked with me about them, giving me options.  In the end, he had to re-install some flexible duct work to raise it above the folding ladder.  He shopped for the necessary materials, including the wood for the door.  He finished the job in 6 hours.  At that point, he asked if I wanted him to paint the wooden door opening and I chose to do that myself, saving me some labor time. He took the time to clean-up after himself as well. I was extremely pleased.

Good.  I bought a coupon but didn't have enough hours.   And we ran into a parts problem.  My assigned guy came back after finding the needed part and completed the rest of the projects.  Good job.

Contractor showed up on time. He was very helpful in giving rough estimates of other work we might want done. Followed all our instructions and purchased materials on our behalf. I was very satisfied with the quality of work. I would use this service again.

It went great. He was pleasant, prompt and professional. Would be happy to call again for a list of items to be done.

It went great. They were very prompt with getting me the lean waivers when I needed them. Jon responded quickly and sent Ron out.  Ron got there early, got the materials he needed, and built a first-rate staircase in less than 5 hours.  Jon estimated the job at way more than it actually ended up being, which was a nice surprise.
