The young man, John, arrived right on time.  He was friendly, professional and cleaned up after himself.  We primarily wanted him to fix the wall but the owner suggested we find some other jobs for him to do while waiting for the drywall patch to dry.

They were prompt and professional. The work was done well.

Fantastic!  I had a long list of items that needed to be done and despite it being a VERY long day for both guys (11-12 hours), they stayed focused and completed everything!  The kitchen now looks great!  We had an issue with the delivery of my appliances and Jon offered to take care of some items that resolved my conflict with the delivery company.  Jon and John were extremely courteous and professional throughout the day and provided a high quality of service....even cleaning up thoroughly before leaving (and I'm certain they were exhausted).  I was very impressed!

I used an Angie's List Big Deal special offer for this service and I was very happy with them. I spent some extra because I had them stay longer for additional work. This was the first time I have used this company. I would use them again and just had them out to give me a bid on another piece of work. He is very professional and on time. He cleans up and shows me how he can do some other things I did not want to pay for but needed to have done.

The bid process was good, with the owner working around my schedule for the appointment, and then quickly provided a reasonable estimate. The carpenter sent to do the work was a nice guy according to my wife. He did a good job and we're very, very happy with the new railings. The only tiny thing I'd mention is that the new railings were left rough, so I'm planning to sand them down to avoid splinters. But that's easy enough to do...the hard work was building the railing, and they did a great job with that.

Purchased a Big deal for J P Frisch Construction Services Inc. John was great, did a wonderful job. He found a leak that no one else could find coming through my ceiling. Patched everything up nicely. Thought it was a roof over a bay window and replaced it. That was not where that leak was coming from but it needed replaced. He got on the roof and ran water until he found where the leak was at. Did some work in the bathroom, installed new vanity.

They did a fantastic job at a reasonable price.

Two workers came for a job that only appeared to fully utilize one person's time while the other seemed to be getting trained. Several times during the time we were charged for calls were taken. It did not appear that the work was done efficiently, and we as the client were penalized for that with what seemed like a much higher bill.

Jon and an associate arrived early and were finished within two hours. The gutter redirection is unobtrusive in its appearance and looks like it will be very satisfactory. Rain came today (the following day), and gutter deflectors appear to be doing their job keeping overtopping of gutters with rainwater. Admittedly this is a very minor job, but we are very pleased with Jon's work and would use him again.

All work done as requested, no issues.

Overall the work went well. These guys are honest, extremely knowledgeable and easy to work with. I plan on having them back again for more household repairs; lighting fixtures, sealing cracks in driveway and sidewalk, replacing old shabby vents, etc...

It went very well.  Jon is a professional.  Good work and did it quickly. 

I used the special rate as published on this website, so the rate per hour was reasonable.

This was great experience.  John confirmed the appointment the day before and showed up right on time.  He worked hard and accomplished an amazing amount in a short time. He is courteous and skilled. This was definitely a "deal"! We will definitely use him again.

Jon did a very good job. His professionalism was excellent. His workmanship, and that of his worker, John, was exceptional. He did things to save me money that he could have done otherwise. He and his guy even worked on a Saturday to get the job done. There are a few pickup things left to do, but we're waiting until other contractors are finished so that Jon can clean up after them. I was worried, because I had no idea who to use in Saint Louis for "handyman" work, and through Angie's List, I found J. P. Frisch. They turned out to be much more than just a "handyman." I recommend Jon Frisch highly and I will continue to use him in the future.

Good; no complaints.

Overall, everything went very well.  The only thing that I was hoping to get done that did not was painting a hall bath.  We had talked about having him put on a first coat and return the next morning to put on a second, but that did not work out.  When he looked at the bathroom, he suggested that the ceiling ought to be painted first.  Since I did not have ceiling paint, I ran out to the paint store to get some.  In the meanwhile, Jon got started working on my other projects.  They took a while, so there was no time to paint the bathroom.  When he asked if I would like him to come back to do it (at a reasonable hourly rate), he indicated that he would not be available until the next week.  I had been expecting him to return the next morning, so it was a little disappointing to find out that I had not been written into the schedule for the next day, as I had anticipated.  On the whole, it was a positive experience and all the patching and painting looks great (plus the sink no longer leaks!).

Jeff and a fellow employee came on Wednesday, March 6, 2013 to take out the panels of the bathroom ceiling.  They cut and nailed in the boards in the ceiling & set the wires for the light.  They came back on Thursday to put up the ceiling and light with fan.  They painted the bathroom white.  They rebuilt the downstairs column and painted it.  They also painted all of the floorboards.  The basement looks much better.  The bathroom looks like new.

Jon was very professional, methodical and did quality work. I would not hesitate to use him for future projects.

Call JP Frisch Const. on 12/31/2012 and asked for an estimate on performing the repair. Stated he would be on Wednesday 1/2/2013, and if could be repaired at that time, he would perform the repair.
Also had them give a estimate on repairing a fence. Called me that evening stating the repairs to the downspout was finished and a summary of what would be the cost for fixing the fence.

I was under a short time frame to have the repair completed in order to fulfill a City inspection requirement, and this company accommodated my request by getting me on their schedule right away.  The repair was completed as requested.  I am very pleased with the level of responsiveness and professionalism in working with J P Frisch Construction Services.

Jon showed up on time to look at the job.  We discussed what I was wanting to have done, and he said he could do it and we scheduled a day for him to start.  Jon showed up on the start day with tools and materials, ready to work.  He finished hanging the drywall and applied one coat of the "mud" the first day.  He came back the next day to apply the second coat.  On the final day he sanded, painted, and put up the window trim.  I was impressed that throughout the entire job, Jon keep his work area very clean and neat.  The job came out better than expected and I won't hesitate to call Jon for our next project.
