It all went really good and I got most of my list items done or at least the major ones. The only reason I gave them a B or 4 star rating is because there was no follow up on the bathroom estimate. No matter now. I've decided to put my house up for sale and so I'm not going to do as much remodeling as if I were going to live here myself. I'm going with the guys that did my hall bath. They did a great job and I know how it's going to turn out.

The person arrived on time, listened to everything I needed to be done and was able to complete everything in 5 hours. I purchased 4 hours for $167 and paid an extra $86. ($50 for the extra hour and $36 for supplies/delivery). I thought the value was excellent considering I would not have been able to do all of that myself in that amount of time. Plus I couldn't have picked up the drywall myself. Will use again for future projects.

It went fine. Cost more than the prepaid deal, but the work had to be performed and the cost of materials was part of that cost as well. The tile repair was ok, just not what I would have liked, since it didn't really match the tile that was in the shower. But it might have been difficult to find tile from30 years ago when the house was built. The outside window repair was fine. He had to take the window completely out and reinstall it. No further issues with that. Overall, a nice job.

See above - he was just very slow and there were some things I had to show him how do?  I expected a true Handy Man type person - but I did not feel he was qualified.

All projects were done with an A.

Workers with Jon arrived a little before seven--they had said seven--and stayed until almost seven in the evening to complete the majority of construction and first coat of paint. They hardly stopped except for lunch and a few very short breaks. Jon came the second day and completed the project. the entire team was professional, competent and respectful of me and my house, very careful not to let the dog get onto the porch. they deserve all As and all the work they can handle.

I bought one of the special deals from Angie's list from this company.  The owner called me to set the appointment.  The gentleman (contractor) showed up as scheduled and on-time; he was professional, and he kept me informed throughout the entire project. He was  detailed-oriented and did a great job with my projects. I plan on using this company again to do some more work around my house. My house is 50 years old so there were some unexpected items that came up as the contractor did the work,

but he kept his professionalism and figured out the best solution.

Very well.  they were puncutual, polite, professional, helpful and conscientious.

Jon, was there when he said he would be, work was completed in a reasonable time and everything was left cleaned-up.
I give the Company "a two thumbs up".  Plan on having some shelving units installed, along with some doors.

Wonderful! I picked out a wicked ceiling fan for my son but the I installation instructions were lacking. It took him two hours, he was very professional and now my son has an cool ceiling fan in his room, by the way my husband would have so gave up on this fan about a half-hour into it.

Couldn't have been better.  Patrick was on time, only took a few minutes to review the various jobs I needed to be done, then got right to work.  He scraped and painted a 2nd story window frame (outside), put in a support post to a fence that was leaning (even matched the carving at the top of the post!), tacked baseboard, repaired some flashing around the stack on the roof, installed a door sweep, and fixed several boards on the fence that had come loose.
I had purchased a coupon for 4 hours of work - he was able to get all this done with only one extra hour - and my house looks great!

The men were professional and figured out a way to do everything that I asked.

They were okay.  They came and did finish the job.  They asked for some more time and finally came and finished the job and sent an invoice for me in the mail and I sent a check.  They showed up on time even though the appointments were stretchy but they always called.  They did everything.  He worked at night.  After their four hours were finished it was $50 for every hour so I told him to stop because I was not going to pay any more money. The quality of the work was okay.

The owner came out and gave me a time estimate for the job and scheduled someone to complete the work. The worker showed up right on time that morning and quickly got to work making sure he had all the correct materials. The work was done professionally with him checking in at certain points to make sure where I wanted things placed. The fan works great and the install is very neat; with not a lot of patching needed after. After the work was complete he cleaned up all work areas and took all materials that needed disposal.

It was an Angie's list Big Deal that I purchased. It was kinda surprising. He didn't want to do what I wanted him to do. I bought the deal for a painting job in my kitchen and he said he wasn't a good enough painter. I ended up just trying to find something for him to do. I was happy with the service, it's not bad but I guess I should have looked for a painter instead of a general contractor. But actually, he recommended someone to me and I used that person and it was fine. The painting was not a difficult job so I'm not sure why he didn't want to do it. It worked out all right.

Everything went fine with J P Frisch Construction Services, Inc. About a month and a half after the service the door started sticking and I called the owner and he said he's real busy and it'd be a couple of weeks up to a month before he could work on it. I was having problems with the door so I said, "I'd really appreciate if you could get it fixed." I know I waited at least a couple of weeks and maybe up to a month but he sent somebody out and they corrected it. I was dissatisfied on the follow-up after I had problems with the door. The work was very good. I was satisdied with all the work that they did. The only problem I had was with the follow-up when I had a problem with the door later on and he couldn't get to it for a while. Responsiveness wasn't that good afterwards. But for the main stuff and what I originally worked, everything was fine. All the other works' been fine, too. It was very good quality work.

Paid for two blocks of time for construction ... needed a safe entryway for wheelchair patient.  Contractor said he could not do that work..       I understood his inability to do so, but felt he should have refunded my money paid for a job he could not perform.  Since it was going to cost me 300 dollars whether he did anything or not, I chose to have a few minor repairs performed.  I feel like I could have had those jobs done for a lot less than  300 dollars.  Overall, very unsatisfied with this encounter..

Jim filled holes left from tract lighting.  He then spread plastic all over living room to paint ceiling.  He did a great job of painting the ceiling being very careful not to splatter paint on anything.  He measured door entry and bought wood to make door.  He painted the door white and installed it.  I am very happy with the job that he did.  I will definitely use J P Frisch Construction Services again.

I hired this provider via an Angie's List Big Deal, after reading many positive reviews.  JP Frisch offered a big deal - a full day of handyman services for $395.  I knew I wanted a lot of work done, and was unsure whether JP Frisch could complete the tasks I wanted done in one day.  So I emailed JP before buying the big deal and described the work I needed done.  I asked if this work could be done in one day.  JP was very responsive; he quickly responded and explained that based on the work required he might exceed the full days time (and the approx. $395 price), but that he would bill me at a lower hourly rate for the time required to complete the work not done per the "big deal".  I thought that was fair.  I bought the big deal and scheduled the work. 
Later, JP's handyman arrived.  He was one time and professional.  I was a little concerned that it seemed to take him awhile to do the work I requested.  My husband and I were in and out during the course of the day, and he really seemed to take a long time installing the fans and lights.  We chalked that up to the fact that the fans seemed  a little complicated and do not hold that against the provider. 
The only snag we experienced happened when he installed the faucet in the bathroom.  The handyman cracked the vanity top while he was removing the old faucet.  Apparently the old faucet was on fairly tight - I think it was an honest mistake.  Anyway, the handyman and JP spent time determining what to do about the crack.This took awhile and a portion of the day I paid for was spent trying to resolve this issue.
JP did well resolving the situation.  He offered to repair or replace the cracked vanity top at no cost to us.   If we chose to replace the cracked top, we would have to buy the new one, but they would replace it at no cost.  If we chose to repair it, JP committed to make the crack disappear using a guy who specializes in these sorts of repairs.  We went with the second option and his guy did, in fact, make the crack disappear - it looks like it never happened.  
All and all, I was pleased with this work.  Of course, I did not like that the vanity was cracked, nor did I like the fact that they seemed to spend time during the day I bought debating how to fix it.  But I do really like the way they handled the situation and I loved the professionalism of both the guy he sent out (also named Jon) and JP himself.  They're probably the classiest handymen I've had the pleasure of working with.  JP did great in resolving the issue without a lot of drama.

These guys, Jon & Mike, were great.  They arrived a few minutes early (great!) and got right to work after I showed them what I wanted done.  Both were very personable and I felt very comfortable leaving them in my house while I went to hardware store to get some of the supplies they needed.
I'd purchased an Angie's List Big Deal: $149 for Half Day of Contractor Services (50% off). ($149 for the coupon/half day's work, then another $300 for the additional 3 hours x 2 men.  I think I'm figuring that right.  Including the coupon $149, I paid a total of $449, give or take a few dollars. I don't have the invoice with me.
As I said, the workers were very nice, very personable, and I'm guilty of talking to them a lot.  I think I got charged for some (?) of that talk time.  And one of the men spent a lot of time on his cell phone--on several different calls, so I think I got charged for those calls/time, too.  Not sure that's fair.
But I DID like the work they did.  And I do have some more projects on my Honey Do list.  Just have to save my pennies to get them done!
