I appreciated the professonalism of Fitzgibbons painting company. From the beginning bid through the completion of the project, I was treated with the utmost respect. The workers arrived early each day and worked through the day taking a limited break. They consulted with me on the color selection and on repairs that were needed. In a few days my house went from being one of the most embarrassing on the block to one of the most attractive. I would certainly use Fitzgibbons painting again and have alread made referrals.

Fitzgibbons Painting did an excellent job painting the exterior of our house. It looks noticeably better from the street. The vinyl shutter color had faded and weathered a lot but now looks just like new. Every aspect of the job was handled with quality and in professional manner. They were easy to work with and did what we asked. The job took about three days from start to finish. Fitzgibbons let us know up front that it would take about 8 weeks to start the job after paying the initial deposit. The actual start was about 8-1/2 weeks later. I appreciate knowing this upfront before agreeing to a job.

We contacted them around mid-Sept. 2013 and paid the deposit for their estimate. They came out to view the job. They wanted to start work in early December; we said no because we thought it would get too cold too quickly for the paint (turns out we were right on that!). Finally they were able to come at the end of July. I downgraded them for "responsiveness" because scheduling took so long and we always had to initiate contact with the office about their coming. Their reason for the delayed scheduling was, they wanted to have a large contingent (6 men) to get through the project quickly; understandable but I do think the office should have been more informed and proactive about keeping us informed. Just be aware.
Once they did come, however, they were very prompt, came every day, and finished in about 12-13 working days.
They were very good about identifying problems (e.g., wood rot in a few areas) and found a great color match that minimizes the appearance of the storm windows (this is a historic district).
The job came out looking great! They were careful about picking up, perhaps a little less careful with the landscaping but that should resolve by next year.
The price is reasonable and justified for the work they did; it included paint, matching caulk, and a couple of glass panes. (Thus the "B", only because I would reserve "A" for less-than-expected cost.)
The painters were good to work with. I would recommend them and would use them again.

Contracted in late May. Painting schedule for 7-8 weeks, they came one week late. Purchased paint from another paint company other than what agreed on. Did not completely cover fixtures when spraying ceiling and lots of overspray. Unprofessional appearance of painters. In jeans and shirts except one. Finished job in two days that should have taken 4-5. Sloppy work with electrical outlets ,knobs and trim. Often with paint . Contacted owner and he did respond with lead painter. Agreed work was not good and came to repair and clean. We felt we needed to watch all work extremely closely. Required complete reprint with correct paint. Still hurried. Still cleaning paint droplets. Would not recommend.

Went well, hard to complete because of cold weather. Because I work, they also had to work with my availability.

They were prompt in their arrival each day and the work area was clean when they left each day. I was very satisfied with their work and would use them for additional painting in the future.

Arrived on time each day. Workers were careful. Project manager, Brian, was great, customer oriented, very helpful. Debated between "A" and "B" on quality. Decided on "B" because they missed an area, although I missed it also on the final walk around.

I was amazed at how easily they removed the wallpaper, requiring very little dry wall patching. They covered the floors and furniture with dropcloths and did an A-grade job.

I was very pleased with the interior and exterior painting job performed by Fitzgibbons. The painters were very professional and respectful of my home(cleaning up after themselves). They kept me updated throughout the day of their progress and when they came across an unexpected problem that would need some carpentry work they informed me immediately. I was pleased to know that Fitzgibbons could take care of that for me. It is good to know they have skilled workers to do that...a One Stop Contractor.

We have a brick and cedar home, and everything that was not brick they painted. They did a fantastic job. I would recommend them to anyone.

The painting part seems to be quite good, and it only took 2 days. The crew consisted of 5 men. They put down drop cloths and picked up all of those scrapings when they were finished. They vacuumed up the particles that didn't land on the dropcloth.

I'd recommend him. He was right on time and did what he said he would do. The kitchen painting only took a couple of days.

They responded very quickly to my initial vsll. Once I decided to move forward, they were booked 5 weeks out, which was fine, and when 5 weeks came, they were right here. They did more than what they quoted, probably, but didn't charge me more. They were very efficient. They were in 3 days and out. They left us the extra paint so we can touch up as needed. The workers were very nice. I have no complaints. They also honored a coupon for $400 I received in the mail.

It was 2 months between the time I signed the contract until the time I was able to get them over. However, we signed the contract in the summer, when they were in their busy season. When they did come out and paint, there were lots of areas where they didn't touch. It looks like my husband did it, which is sad, considering how much money I paid. The company was reluctant to rectify the problems. They splashed paint onto a brand new deck and the owner claimed it was mold - and it was BRAND NEW. They came back out and redid a few areas. However, they weren't as professional as I'd wanted them to be. Also, the laborers left cigarette butts and drinks around - they didn't clean up after themselves.
