Child Care - Center
The staff at CEC are very nice and good with kids; they have taught me and my
child a lot. Truly caring people who do a lot with the kids. I never worry about my child in their hands and often have to drag the kid outta there at the end of the day.
HOWEVER, they always close if there is questionable weather.
They have closed many days this winter due to weather, more like a
public school than a private provider. Today they're closed all day
while the Lacy Clay Center opens at 10 and 3 other day cares our friends
use in STL city are open as usual. I guess you get what you pay for;
those 3 day cares are all more expensive than CEC (Child Garden, Kinder
Care, and Bright Horizons).
To be honest, I would switch day cares if I could due to the time I've spent home this winter while the rest of the city was open for business. It is frustrating on these occasions. If you have family available to help or a flexible work schedule, CEC is great!
