I've been using them for eight years. They do a good job, so I'm very happy. I know everybody there after eight years.

Each time it's been great, honest work. Some highlights include: - Not charging me for an expensive part when replacing it turned out not to fix my issue - Always answering the phone quickly and finding my information right away - Fitting me in to the schedule on short notice - Being a trustworthy adviser for all my car issues

Everything went well from start to finish. Would definitely return for future service and recommend to anybody looking for a trustworthy, professional auto shop that does good work.

This is our first and only experience (so far) with Car Doc, but based on this experience we certainly plan to return. Scheduling was easy, service was prompt and finished on time, the facility is very spacious, clean and professional. Car Doc was highly recommended on several "VW Geek" discussion groups. The price was about the same as the VW dealer would charge so we didn't save a lot of money here (and the 40k service is a "big one" when a number of components are scheduled for replacement -- other 10k services had cost and will cost about a third of what we paid for this one) but I do think we got value for our dollars.

Quick, professional, and they do a good job. They seem honest and proactive. I feel they know what they are doing.

They did other stiff for me. They maintenance over the last few years. It's reasonable. I go back to them because of their promptness and I can get it in quickly. The work is done pretty quick. I never had any problems with their services.

The Service Manager, John, is very professional, welcoming, and very knowledgeable. I trust him with any auto repair. I will always go to Car Doc. The waiting room is clean and comfortable. John kept me up to date on all stages/phases of my repairs - there haven't been any surprises with Car Doc.

It was my first time visiting and everything went rather well. The mechanics were able to find a few things that were causing some issues. They were also able to make the necessary repairs. The staff was very professional and got the car back to me on time. It took a couple days for the service to be completed. I did not have to wait long at all to get my vehicle in to them.

They're close and they seem to do good work. They get me in when I need to get in and have taken care of any problems. They're competitive on pricing too.

They're really professional and friendly. When you want some work done, you can go online and find the best price, the exact work that you want and they will also certify it. It's a good place, it's not a place where they're going to try and rip you off so I trust them.

They give exceptional service, the pricing is fair, and the work is done on time. They did all the service on our car, it was a Volkswagen Beetle 2000. They are an excellent investment for your car.

I highly recommend them. They are honest, very thorough and get it done and get it fix the first time they do it and get it right. They found something that was wrong and fixed it. The rebuilt part that they put on was bad and they replaced it and the rebuilt part was bad again they did it the third time and got it right so that was on the power steering pump. They do auto inspections. They don’t do glass but they do anything auto repair i.e. mufflers, radiators, tires all that stuff.

I work in the Westport area and that's where they are. They bring me to work and then they come get me and bring me back to the shop when the work is done. I have checked their pricing against other shops and they are very competitive. I knew I was dealing with an HONEST shop when I once took them an issue with my van that another shop told me needed to be done right away. John told me my van did not need that expensive service and that he could not quote me on something that just didn't need to be done. Done! That was my shop from then on. I refer my friends and family to Car Doc. I even have them do my oil and filter changes now. I know it will be done right and they won't hand me a list of other things they recommend get done (to THEIR advantage) at the end of the process like the quick lubes have already done. My sister shopped tires and they were competitive on those as well. I trust them. Bottom line!

We were buying a car from a dealer and right now we are living in the Bahamas. We had the company inspect the car before we purchased it.

Car Doc Automotive are honest, they did the repairs properly, they gave me a ride home, they are competitive and they have good mechanics.

When we spotted a fluid leak from the engine, we took van to a shop we had been using for nearly ten years. They worked on the van, and told us they fixed the problem; but also said that there might be a transmission problem. They recommended we take it to a transmission place to have it checked. We consulted Angie's List and chose Car Doc Automotive because of its very high rating. We took the van to them to have the transmission looked at. When Car Doc took the van into its maintenance bays they called us immediately. They said they would not work on the van until the shop which did the engine work corrected the defective work they had done. Car Doc provided pictures and written description of the problems. I took the pictures and descriptions back to the other shop and told them to correct the issues. The next day they called me back and said they had fixed the problem. When I drove the van for a few days I could tell that something was still wrong. I took it back to Car Doc. Again they provided both pictures and a written description of what was still wrong (the other shop had actually made the situation worse than it was originally); and recommended that I take it back and have them correct their errors. By then, however, we had lost all confidence in the other shop, so I had Car Doc fix the problem. They did so for a very reasonable price (additionally, it turned out that there was nothing wrong with the transmission at all). The van now functions beautifully. The professionalism of the work done and the treatment we received from the people at Car Doc was of the highest quality. I strongly recommend Car Doc.

I was exceptionally please with the service, although a little pricey, but you get what you pay for.

I couldn't have asked for more or better help! Jon and Brian walked me through what they thought was wrong with my diesel when VW was giving me the run around. Because they were so generous with their time and expertise, I was able to get my car fixed under warranty. If they hadn't I would have brought my car to them. How many places would save a customer lots of $$ at their own expense? I'll be sure to tell everyone I know about Car-Doc. And they will be doing all the non-warranty service on my car from now on. Thanks guys!!!

I like the personalized care. They understand what they are doing. They understand that I want my car fixed and not sold an upgrade. They know that I do not want to be told that there are 10 other things wrong with my car. They are professional. He will also buy cars for me as well. If I want to get a good used car, he will find the one I want with everything that I want, and then he will check it out for me so that I know that I am getting a good vehicle.

Provided a clear estimate by phone. Also, provided good information about repair alternatives. Scheduled the service and did the work satisfactorily and exactly according to the estimate.

Took my car in, got a rental. Service provided on-time and at the cost estimated.

It went well. At first the car did not exhibit the symtems I was experiencing. They suggested keeping it another day to look at it a little more. Stated he didn't want to just replace the o-rings as he wasn't sure it was the fix. On the second day, the fuel was leaking from the rail. They suggested replacing the rail and the o-rings. They did and so far it is fixed. The price was as quoted.
