The person doing the painting did an excellent job. I had the 8 hour deal and he was able to do 2 coats on almost all the area. Very nice guy.

I was kept informed of everything and was quite impressed with the professionalism of the workers. The prep for the painting took two full days because I have an older home and there were several layers of old paint that needed scraping off first. Shaun found himself doing the prepping and painting alone because his co-worker became ill on the first day. He took it all in stride and had a great attitude about the situation - even asked to come an hour earlier each day in order to do the extra work. Jerry stopped by each day to check on the progress, to see if I had any concerns or questions, also pitched in to assist Shaun a couple of times. The resurfacing was started about a week later and the prep was equally important - maybe more so because the newly painted areas had to be covered and taped off - including the floor. The resurfacing crew was Nick and Matt and they were just as professional - arriving early, bringing in their supplies, and getting right to work. I am so very pleased with the outcome - there is no doubt the work was done by professionals! Hands down better than I could have ever done (and I tried) before I gave up and decided to call Beckner Painting - the best decision I've made this year. I will be using them for other projects in the future and highly recommend their services for others. I didn't have to pay for anything until the work was done and all extra paint was left for me to keep.

I used a Groupon for a bathtub refinish.  Beckner did a fantastic job.  They arrived as scheduled.  Their work was clean and professional.  My bathtub looks wonderful.  Absolutely no complaints.

I purchased a big deal to have my tub refinished. They removed some coating and they did not cover the dent back up. I was not pleased with it because, when they were done with it, it did not look good. They did not ask me if I wanted it fixed. They did come back out free of charge and fixed it. It was rough on one side of it. The company is a "C" and it should not reflect on the contractor because, he did all that he could. The contractor was very professional but, the company will not back up their work.

It went fairly well. However the tub had many small imperfections and these were still somewhat evident after the job was completed. The tub appears to be head and shoulders better in appearance than prior to the job being done. My wife though has some concerns as to how long the job will last, where it was taped between the tub and the surround concerns her. The gentleman that came out was courteous arrived as scheduled I used an Amazon local deal so the price was fantastic. Overall we are satisfied with the job however our expectations may have been unrealistic.

I purchased a Living Social Deal to have my bathtub refinished.  The deal cost $190.  When I called to schedule the appointment, they offered an additional service for only $50, and they return the next day and re-caulk the entire tub after the paint has dried to the touch.  I agreed that I wanted to add that service.  They were very helpful on the phone and told me what to do to prep the tub for refinishing.  A few days before my appointment, they called to confirm and again they were very helpful and answered all of my questions.  On the day of service, the painter arrived on time.  He took great care to prep my bathroom for the job, and to set up a vent so the fumes would go out the window.  I was home during the work, and the fumes never got bad.  I was able to carry on with my normal day.  He did a great job and cleaned up after himself.  He gave me a care sheet and clearly explained the do's and dont's.  The next day, a different painter arrived to remove the tape and re-caulk the tub.  He called when he was on his way, and he arrived on time.  He re-caulked the tub and allowed me to check his work and approve before settling up with me for the extra $50.  Since the work has been done, I called back with a few questions, and again found their customer service to be top-notch.  The new finish has been on the tub for over a month now, and it looks amazing.  Our old tub was really a mess, and by looking at it now, you would never know.  I really appreciate the great, attentive service I've received from Beckner Painting, and would recommend them to anyone. 

Great!  Painter was exactly on time, performed the work, cleaned up and left the premises.  I did have to remove some masking after waiting 24 hours for the coating to set, but that was easy.  How that leftover gold tub is gone forever!

The estimator was very professional.  I prefer to have non-smokers in my home.  Both painters were smokers and frequently went outside to smoke so I think it took longer to complete.  I don't care for the smell in my home and will now request that of additional contractors I may hire.  The work that was done was done well.

Overall it was a pretty good experience. However, there were a few hiccups that would make me hesitate in using them again. The reason I used this company in the first place was because I purchased a Groupon for their services.
I thought since it was a decent size job that there would've been more than one person, but they only sent one painter. The guy was nice enough-he was timely in getting things painted but he talked on his phone while he worked, and I don't think it was to professional contacts. I think that factor hindered his speed in getting things painted. (for example-the first day he said he'd get the bathroom, bedroom, and office finished but he only finished the bathroom and the bedroom.) The work that was done was excellent though-the lines on the ceilings and baseboards were very exact and the walls are well coated. When it came time to pay there was a bit of confusion with pricing because the invoice I received didn't detail at what rate they were charging me for; it was only after I brought it to someone's attention did I get an explanation of pricing. I would've liked that before I gave the okay to go ahead with the work.
*Also a side note, after learning the company did contracting work we contacted them for a bid and had someone come out to measure and hear what we wanted to do. The gentleman that came out listened to what we wanted done but didn't give much feedback. After he left we never heard back from him.

The painters arrived on time each day and were friendly and professional. They took down all HVAC vents for me to clean as the work progressed from room to room. They knew we were anxious to have the painting completed so we could move in and they worked deligently to see that the established completion date was met. At the same time as the painting was going on we had new appliances scheduled for delivery. They were flexible in working around those delivery issues.

I was out of town when I told him to do the work. He said he would do it. I told him the color and told him to talk to my renter who was a photographer as I was. He supplied him with the information on the color. He did a superb job. I got back to town just as he was wrapping up. I looked at it and it was beautiful. He did a real good job when it was needed to be done. My interaction with him was only through emails. But, I did speak to the guy who did the work. He had to scrap a very awful wall. I tried to scrap it but realized that I could not do it. He gave me a quote but then he came in underneath the quote. He did an excellent and a first grade job which I considered was on a difficult side. He made recommendations for the paint so I could have a long lasting job. I trusted him to give me correct information about the paint.

It was good. They were timely.

It went very well. When one color was not to my satisfaction, they took it back to the paint to have it blended again. They worked fast, left the area clean when they finished, and they were happy to repaint some areas that I thought needed another coat. In all, we were very happy with the work.

Beckner painted the foundation of my house and a side door. Their price was reasonable and they were professional. I wouldn't hesitate to hire them again.

It is a huge house and the quote was for painting the entire house. Some extra things were added too. They gave me an oral bid. It was for $4995. They were prompt, professional, very nice and very helpful. They explained that they would do a base quote and then the regular quote. They were responsive. I emailed them one evening and they got back to me the next morning. They were right on time when they came to give me the quote. I will consider using them in the future.

It went really well with Kevin and Matt showing up every morning and working non-stop except for a short lunch break each day. The job took a week and was done in a highly professional manner. It is very "intrusive" to have painters in your house all week but Kevin and Matt worked hard to keep the mess as contained as possible and cleaned up each evening prior to their leaving for the day. Their supervisor (Joey) came by to check on how the work was progressing on a regular basis.

They were a great company to work with. The house looks great and we've received many compliments!

Scheduling and painting went very well. The time between first contact/scheduling and the painting was 3-4 weeks. This might sound long, but the rainy spring weather was the culprit.

Initially, Beckner's painter (Kevin) was just going to scrape off loose paint. When it became evident that just scraping wasn't getting enough old paint off, the painter used a sander. Kevin was really good about cleaning up paint chips and helping seal windows to minimize paint dust inside. He used both brush and roller to be sure there was adequate thickness and coverage for all layers of paint. He even washed the windows to be sure he removed paint dust and paint spots! He was careful to protect exterior plants whenever possible. Inside, the floor and all furniture were carefully covered. When he left each day, equipment was carefully put away and everything was left clean. Kevin always showed up promptly, or called if he was going to arrive late. Both Kevin, and his supervisor Rich were always willing to listen to and act on any of our concerns during the job. The house looks great.

Wonderful! Beckner was extremely professional, fast, and skilled. One painter fell while working in the tricky vaulted bathroom; thankfully he wasn't injured, but his ladder went through the bathroom door. They had a new door ready and installed by a carpenter the next day, without any inconvenience or additional charge to us. We wish we would have just had them paint the entire house! Best way to 'throw money at a problem' and have the painting DONE!
