Went well. They were very careful with sensitive furniture items.

My movers were Steve and Anthony and they were great. They were at my apartment on time and asked pertinent questions as we walked from room to room to observe the situation. I was looking for movers just to move my furniture. I moved boxes, smaller furniture, and a lot of other items on my own. They really hustled and did an excellent job protecting all of my old furniture. Luckily we had a warmer, sunny day for February. I did remove some of the drawers because there's bakelite hardware on some of the pieces and didn't want to chance it. I moved the drawers and some mirrored doors from other pieces myself a few days earlier, though my gut feeling thinks everything would have turned out just as well as it did. I did have all pieces labeled as to where they go once we got to the house which probably helped with the overall timing. They verified where furniture should be placed while unloading and were very pleasant the whole time and took care with loading/unloading/moving all of my items. I used Anchor in 1993, 2002, 2010 and would definitely use them again.

The crew was about 15 minutes late to the first location but went right to work clearing a safe passage to the kitchen. They carefully moved furniture out of their path and removed the first range-a relatively light weight Hotpoint stand alone gas range. The crew met me at the second location-wasting no time along the way-and picked up a much heavier Kitchen Aid dual fuel range for transport back to the original location. Again, they were careful clear a safe passage from the kitchen to the truck. They also cheerfully picked up several more items not originally scheduled to be moved. After swapping out the ranges they headed back to the first location- again wasting no time. The crew carefully placed the Kitchen Aid range in the kitchen and then proceeded to put the furniture moved out of the way back to its original placement. Payment was made by credit card. Anchor Moving did a very nice job and I would hire again.

The owner of the company was extremely responsive and returned calls promptly. The movers were on time, extremely professional and helpful. They worked fast, and they worked very hard. We moved in August, and it was over 95 degrees on the day of our move, and the crews never took excessive breaks or tried to use the heat as an excuse for moving slowly. I would highly recommend them!

They were very good. Polite and competent service. I was surprised that movers did not have info on how to get to the final destination. I think Mapquest or a similar tool would be helpful.

I have hired Anchor Moving Company numerous times over the years for both home and office relocations. They always do an excellent job. With the recent move, Bill, Melvin, and Lamonte were very organized, efficient, careful, timely. They worked very well together as a team, and we all enjoyed some laughs along the way. Mike Winkler's crews are always great, and they do whatever is necessary for a good experience for the customer. Nothing over the years has ever been damaged. Anchor Moving will always be the one I call. Their rates are very good and the bill is explained at the end of the move, as well as rates given ahead of time when you schedule it. Always a good experience.

WONDERFUL -- THEY WERE PROMPT, COURTEOUS, RESPECTFUL OF OUR THINGS, AND THE PRICE WAS EXACTLY AS QUOTED. WE ENDED UP NEEDING TWO TRUCKS BUT THEY DID NOT CHARGE US ANY EXTRA OVER THE QUOTED PRICE.

VERY POOR. THEY WERE DISORGANIZED AND SLOPPY. SEVERAL PIECES WERE BROKEN OR PARTS LOST. WHEN ATTEMPTS WERE MADE TO RESOLVE AND REIMBURSE FOR DAMAGES, COMPANY WOULD NOT RESPOND.

THEY DID A GREAT JOB.

THEY WERE VERY GOOD, QUICK, AND EFFICIENT.
