They did a good job. They find out that something else was wrong with the electrical work and informed me of this. They found that the electrical box had short-circuited.

I used them pretty regularly at my last home. They have always done a good job. I have always been real happy with them. They weren't ever cheap enough. I plan to use them in the future.

They were ok. I decided to wait as there was nothing wrong with the one that I had. It was for my son's house. I just decided to wait. They were very nice in terms of their punctuality and professionalism. They were very nice.

The work was done without any complaints. They came right out and did the job. They saw what needed to be done and it was within my warranty of the previous work. They took care of it and I would use them again.

Alro was referred by Andy McDonnell of Andy's Home and Business Repair LLC. Michael Stein came to my home and detailed the options. My furnace was the original in this home and was a 1985 model due for replacement. No reasonable alternative. Job was scheduled immediately at my convenience.

I have no problem with the professionalism of the service person that came to my house. He was prompt and courteous. My problem is with the price I was charged. I was charged $96 for the service call, which is supposed to include an inspection and cleaning of my furnace. This took about 30 minutes. I was charged an additional $86 to clean my flame sensor. This couldn’t have taken more than 5 minutes. I know because I was with the service person the whole time and the entire process lasted no more than 40 minutes. I have no problem paying this amount when a part needs to be replaced, but to pay almost $200 to inspect my furnace and wipe off a dirty sensor is outrageous. When I called the company to verify that I was charged correctly I was told that the price was right and that I was charged “book” time.

Their front office was very friendly. They had great customer service. They gave me an appointment within two days. They were very resposive The technician was very knowledgable. After he installed the product he explained everything there was to know about it. He told me he could replace it and he also showed me how I could replace. They mentioned the $50 dollar savings for being an Angie's List member. The most impressive things were the end service for the product and the customer service I received when I initially called. The technician was very personable.

They were a few hours late, but the work was well done and professional. They were very knowledgeable on the engineering aspect of heating and cooling, and I have already seen results on the lower heating costs.

I called Alro who normally does our routine heating and A/C check-ups but I had neglected to call them this spring. They agreed to come out for a system check-up, and sch'd me ASAP because of the problem we were having. The repairman turned up promptly at 7AM as scheduled. (Alro requested the 7AM time as my unit is located in the attic, and that actually suited my schedule very well.) After thoroughly eval'ing my system inside and out, it turned out we were just a little low on refrigerant. The price I paid included the refrigerant replacement cost, as well as a service contract agreement for our annual check-ups...which I don't intend to forget again!

It was an all day project. They were incredible people!

Excellent job. All work performed as specified. They arrived early in the morning and had the work completed by early afternoon. The new unit is more efficient than the unit it replaced and it is also much quieter. I have used ALRO for years and have always been highly satisfied. Their bids are competitive and their work is always professionally performed. I trust Terry and his company to give me their honest, expert opinion on what work needs to be done.

They sent someone to my home who came to look at the job. I have a total of 4 hvac units that need to be replaced. They never came back with a quote.

I have used Alro for all my heating and AC needs ever since. They confirm their appointments and call again before arriving at the door. I trust Terry's recommendations because he is able to explain them clearly and logically, and usually will discuss what all my options are. They also replaced my old steam furnace (radiator heat system) with equally good results. Every workman I've dealt with has been neat, polite, hardworking and capable. I consider their pricing very fair.

VERY PROFESSIONAL, ALWAYS ON TIME AND NEVER ABOVE QUOTED PRICES. WE REALLY LIKED THAT THEY MADE RECOMMENDATIONS THAT WERE BEST FOR US -- NOT FOR THEIR BOTTOM LINE. I THOUGHT WE NEEDED A BIGGER, MORE EXPENSIVE A/C UNIT AND THEY TALKED ME OUT OF IT. THEY WERE RIGHT -- THE CHEAPER UNIT COOLS OUR HOUSE PERFECTLY.

MARK ALWAYS ARRIVES ON TIME, ANSWERS ALL QUESTIONS, AND IS VERY NEAT AND PERSONABLE. I DID NOT DO A PRICE COMPARISON FOR TWO REASONS: I TRUST ALRO AND THE REPLACEMENT URGENCY.

I THINK THEY ARE FINE, NO TROUBLE WITH THEM.
