All Purpose Sewer and Drain

Our faucet in the tub couldn't get hot water for some reason.  Roger came out after I purchased a Big Deal and replaced something in the faucet and it has worked well since.  He was professional, friendly, did a good job and I have used him again and will in the future. 

Went very well.  The provider was very respectful and explained how long it would take.  He did find one minor issue when changing out one of the faucets,  brought it to our attention and went ahead and changed out the part which was very inexpensive.

I WAS SO HAPPY WITH THEIR RESPONSE TIME. EVEN AFTER THE INSTALL, I NOTICED THE FAUCET TO THE SINK WAS TOO LOOSE & CALLED THEM BACK UP. THEY CAME OUT THE NEXT DAY TO LOOK AT IT, TIGHTENED IT AND, HE NEVER STOPPED SMILING THE WHOLE TIME HE WORKED ON THE FAUCET, WHILE HE WAS TALKING TO US,  & SHARING THEIR STORY ABOUT ALL PURPOSE PLUMBING. THERE WASN'T AN ADDITIONAL CHARGE FOR COMING BACK, NOR A MILEAGE CHARGE. WE WERE SO THANKFUL TO THEM FOR COMING TO OUR HOUSE ON SHORT NOTICE! THANKS ANGIE'S LIST!

Everything went fine.

It was great! I called the company (father/son business) on a Saturday afternoon and the son "Dan" came out within 1 1/2 hours and fixed our water pipe in the basement. He was able to get the water pipe fixed in about 20min and then we had a leaky faucet so he fixed that for us while he was here. Quick service, professional service, would definitely recommend!!!

First, at the end of fall season, 2013, I noticed front outside faucet leaking.  Decided to wait until spring to have it checked.  I looked on Angie's list and found All Purpose Sewer & Drain, a father/son company who provided many plumbing services who was located in the area near my home.  I called mid-day on 4/22 and spoke with Dan, son, and we scheduled a time for 1:30 on 4/23 to come check out and fix faucet.  He followed up a.m. of 4/23 to verify appointment.   He arrived on time and was very friendly.  He inspected both faucet connections, inside and out, and determined neither faucet was leaking.  He did see the rear faucet handle was a bit lose and tightened it.   To be sure no leaking, he attached the hose and nothing leaked.  While he was there, I asked him to check out my tub drain as it had been draining very slowly over the last month or so.  He inspected drain and thought there could be a small blockage in the trap leading from the drain. (I recently had the main sewer line cleaned due to back-up from basement drain, so he did not believe block was in main drain.) He checked downstairs.  The lid to the trap was plastic and also pipes were old and in awkward position near bathroom addition.  Dan clearly explained my options. It was possible the lid could break in trying to open the trap which could lead to more work and cost.  Recommended using bleach to sit in trap several hours, then run lots of hot water.  If this didn't work, he would be glad to check trap and make repair.  After Dan left, I poured bleach and after 3 hour ran lots of water.  Took shower a.m. of 4/24 and water ran quickly down drain and my problem is fixed.  Thanks to Dan for being honest about his suggestion and save me the expense that wasn't necessary. I will definitely contact All Purpose Sewer & Drain in the future for my plumbing needs.

When he first came he couldn’t do the work because pipe needed to replaced.  He didn’t have the right equipment with him.  He said he will come back.  But he hasn’t called me.  He did come quickly the first time.

The line was clogged downstream from the access grate in my backyard.  After a couple of tries, up came a few roots and some other debris.  Daniel could tell the primary issue was likely a "flattened line" (very likely since my place is over 100yrs old).  A cynic might think "Right, he's just setting me up to sell another service", but when I asked, he said "they don't do that kind of work anymore" and twice recommended my city's "Sewer Line Program".   In any event, after the downstream obstruction was opened, he went ahead and snaked upstream, too! 
It was a darned busy night before (because of the heavy storms) and a darned busy day ahead, yet Daniel worked me into his schedule and provided excellent and effective service, plus valuable advice!  Thank you Daniel!

We had a plugged sewer on a Sunday. After a failed effort by Roto Rooter Dan came to our home at 8 pm and worked to get us back and going again. Very prompt and courteous.

Quick and easy!  Had the parts on his truck!

It went perfectly. Was able to schedule an appointment right away. They arrived on time and fixed the problem and explained what they did why I had a leak and how to avoid it in the future. I was very pleased with the service.

It was okay. I ended up calling them back, the first time they came, they didn't fix the drain properly so I ended up calling them back. But they did come back and fix it properly, so. I was satisfied that when I called them back, they came out and made it right for me.

They did a great job and came on time!

We had water spraying everywhere from our kitchen faucet after the valve under our kitchen sink broke. I contact at least half a dozen plumbers, all of whom could not / would not come out on a Saturday evening. When I contacted Mr. Bates he returned my call within 5 minutes. I explained the situation to him and he was at our house within 20 minutes. He was prompt & efficient. He fixed the problem in no time flat. We are very grateful for his quick response.

Mr. Bates was professional and capable.   He was on time and made time for me even though he was swamped with frozen pipes.  He did the work in the agreed time frame and cleaned up very well.  I am very happy with his work and will use him again.  I am also recommending him to friends and family.  He even brought treats for my two dogs to make friends with them.
