All Purpose Sewer and Drain

It went well.

I've had Roger out once before and was impressed with his service, so I knew who to call when my basement drain was backing up. I left him a message and he returned my call within an hour. He was at my house about 45 minutes later. I was very appreciative of his responsiveness, knowing how many people are having similar issues with all of the rain we've had lately. He's very professional, prompt, courteous and always gives you straight-forward advice when asking questions. Not only that, but his prices are very reasonable. I would absolutely recommend him to anyone.

Service was provided in a timely manner. He explained all aspects of thje problem and the remedy. I will use him again when the need arises and wil recomend hime to anyone needing service.

Roger returned my call about 30 minutes from the time I made the initial call to his company. He said he would arrive about an hour later and that's exactly when he showed up. He was very friendly, polite and professional. The job went well even with the bulk of the sewer blockage problem about 90 feet from the house. He cleaned up and presented me with the bill. When he asked how I heard about him, I told him Angie's List, and he immediately took 15% off the charge. He's a keeper.

Called Roger to perform the work he'd previously recommended on tub drain. It's a vacant house so I got the keys to him, as he could do this job at his convenience. While there he noticed some other items that would not pass inspection, gave me a reasonable quote and advice on some other items. He performed the work he recommended and I'm taking his advice on another item. His helper trimmed cabinets on either side of the oven that would not fit in the space that another contractor didn't measure correctly for, and this was done at a reasonable cost too. I'd previously called him to clear a basement drain, he responded very quickly, completed that ugly job and the cost for that was equally reasonable. If I have a plumbing problem and it's in his capability to complete the job - he's my plumber forever.

Everything went smoothly and quickly. He was prompt, knowledgable, and efficient.

He got here quickly and on time. He was a super nice person and very friendly. He definitely checked things out and did a really good job. He looked from the inside, and then he went out into the yard and checked out the underground pipes. He cleaned out things in the yard. He was thorough. It was draining slowly and then it seemed fine. I told him that I found out about him through Angie?s List. On hearing this he gave me a discounted price.

I have used Roger many times. He has always been professional, straight-forward, responsive and a pleasure to work with. i called him out twice on a holiday weekend (2 totally different problems) and he came right away both times. I highly recommend him for any plumbing job.

After calling multiple Angie's list providers who stated they had weekend hours and didn't ever call back, Rodger returned the call quickly on a Sunday afternoon. I was hoping we could make the early AM schedule on Monday. Instead he came out in 40 minutes that afternoon even though he had just returned from a weekend trip out of town! He was punctual, professional and quick to do the job. He assured us that it was tree roots causing the problem and nothing else major with the sewer system. I cannot tell you how appreciative I was that someone would just call us back on a Sunday afternoon. He then went above and beyond by coming out within the hour and fixing the problem. He stated the weekend charge was $20 more from his usual rate which was reasonable. His fee was reasonable and not overpriced like other major name competitors. Would HIGHLY recommend him and we plan on using him again in the future.

Outstanding! Courteous, personable, and friendly, Roger called to confirm before arriving. Was punctual, concerned with keeping my carpets clean, efficient, effective and thorough. Discounted his price for Angie's list without being asked. Offered tips for keeping the drain clean in the future. Experienced and highly professional; would not hesitate to recommend to anyone.

Called the plumber on Thursday and they came out Friday. They came out and took care of it in about 20 minutes - they even called to see if they could come by earlier than my appointment time. Very pleased with the service.

I called and made an appointment for service. Plumber called that morning with eta as would be about 10-15 min later than planned. Work was completed within the time I had allowed so was able to get to work on time. He was fast, cleaned up, & was pleasant. One reason I chose this plumber was because he had a local address-he had moved and had to travel about 25 miles! (He said he didn't mind & would be happy for referrals in my area.)

He was nice, quick, professional, neat and careful about not making a mess with the grungy clogged sink water. He gave me a discount as a Angie's List referral. While he was working he gave me a tutorial about how fix a simple clog myself next time, how to know when to call a pro (when the pipe in the basement sounds clogged when I tap) plus some advice on choosing a better disposer when I'm ready to upgrade. I know he was super busy on Christmas Eve, but he was calm and friendly.

He did an excellent job and had a great price. Will definitely use again.

Everything went well. From our conversation when he called me back, I'm not sure Roger works in the Hazelwood area much but he agreed to come that day. He was polite, efficient and friendly. He referred me to another company (someone he has known for years) and said he would treat me fairly. Fine with me, like I know where to call for a video of my lateral sewer line! :) So that was my experience with Roger; surely not the end to my saga however.

I called All Purpose Sewer & Drain at approximately 12:30 p.m. on Friday, April 4th and a recording instructed me to leave my name and phone number. It said that Mr. Bates was being paged and would return my call. Mr. Bates called me back in about 10 minutes. I explained my situation and he said he could be at my home in about 2 hours. It was about 3 hours later when Mr. Bates arrived but he did call prior to that saying he had been delayed and asked if it was okay for him to proceed to my home at that time. Mr. Bates was professional yet courteous and personable. He assessed the situation and went right to work. When the task was completed he cleaned up the work area. In addition to explaining what caused the problem he provided suggestions on maintenance to avoid a recurrence of the problem.

The problem started with my sewer backing up and basically flooding half of my basement. So, I called All Purpose and got the answering service. Within an our I received a call from Roger to schedule an appointment. The day of the scheduled service, Roger called to ask if he could be there earlier than the planned time and that worked perfect with my schedule. He arrived exactly when he said he would be there and got the work done very efficiently and professionally. Roger was very patient in answering my questions as I am a new home owner and not familiar with sewer problems. I no longer have sewer problems and have found someone very reliable to do work at my home in the future. Thank you Angie's List and to the others who recommended Roger. I've dealt with other companies in the past, and this was one of the best experiences I have ever had.

Roger arrived on time. After determining there was no exterior sewer clean out, he suggested getting someone who had the equipment to use the clean out on the roof. Our basement is finished and it would've been a mess. He didn't charge for the visit. Of all those I called, his price of $93 for a regular sewer cleaning was about $30 cheaper! I will use him if we have a problem.

I found this company on Angie's List and because he was close and received such a good grade I decided to give him a try. I left a message and he called back within a couple of hours. We arranged for him to come out later that day. He arrived earlier than promised, and finished the job in good time. Very pleasant gentleman and easy to work with.

I liked that he explained to me how long he had been with the company as well as background information. He also wanted to meet all of our dogs! He was just a generally pleasant person.

The drains had not been cleaned in years and were very clogged. Roger worked very hard to clean everything out and even dug up about eight feet of clogged pipes. He stayed longer than expected in order to get the job done and stuck with his original estimate for the price of cleaning out each drain even though more work was involved.

Roger called me back within and hour and we set an appointment. He was right on time, cleaned out the drain, checked the other. He was very pleasant and I'll definitely call him again. He also does other basic plumbing work as well!

Called the night it happened. Roger arrived the next morning. Zipped through the job. Actually told us the sewer line "felt" good in both directions. Honest man. Call him again in an instant.

Raw sewage was backing out into our basement floor drain on a Saturday morning. I left a message, and the call was returned within 10 minutes. Mr. Bates was at our house within an hour. He cleaned out the lateral line from the house to the street. He gave us some advice regarding maintaining a clean line. He cleaned up the mess on the basement floor. All in all, he was extremely professional and responsive.
