Everything was fine.

I purchased this deal because I had neglected my lawn all summer and there were many bare spots. Right after I purchased it, the company CALLED ME to thank me for my purchase and to set up a time for them to perform the service!! VERY impressive!
The workers came out on the date scheduled and did an amazing job. I will definitely use Green Thumb Lawncare again!

I have nevere seen such a poor job in aerating a yard. There were big areas missed. A pipe was broke, and I saw very little grass seed. When I talked to the owner he copped an attitude with me saying that there is no way that the technician knew he broke the pipe. The pipe was bright white and up about 2 inches from the ground. His response to me was "I'll be buy in 30 min to check it out". He did come and sent 2 men to fix it. They left a big gap all around the pipe where it enters the house . I had to go get some silicone caulking to repair the problem. I would never use these people again if the said it was for free.

They called and emailed me that they would be scheduling services within the next two weeks.  One week later they called and told me what day they would be out.  I said I might not be home and they said that would be no problem.   They did come while I was gone.  The job done was great, better than other companies in the past.  Minimal plugs were left on the driveway and walks.  The aeration was thorough, no areas missed.  They left the invoice marked paid in the door as they said they would.  I definitely will keep them in mind for future services.

Went very well.  I called to set up the appointment.  They informed me that they would call a few days before they were coming out to perform the job.  They called on a Thursday and were out that Sunday morning to complete the job.  E-mailed the owner with a question and he responded promptly to my e-mail.  Job was performed with no problems.

Good job, except worker ran into my fence and bent it, and didn't tell me. Still waiting for owner to contact us.

While they were not very responsive by phone they did eventually come and do the work. I was disappointed in that the walkway is not completely level even after I noticed it during installation the workmen still did not manage to get it level. They also left some of the hard sand filler that I paid extra for on top of the pavers and also on the sides. Overall, I just give them an average grade. The extra cost above the special Angie's deal was because we needed more than the square footage offered which was no problem.

They came as scheduled, did the work and we have continued with more treatments.  Good company, good customer service

They came & did their work.  They did a good job.  Very happy with this company.

The service worked out great and made a huge difference and the weeds are under control. I am happy with their services!

I hired Jason and crew when I took advantage of the Green Thumb spring coupon listed on Angie's List to do lawn cutting and trimming for 4 weeks at a rental house that was being remodeled.  I was so pleased with them that I hired them for the rest of the summer to continue cutting and trimming the lawns - front and back.  I also hired them to fertilize and do weed control at Dad's house.  I was so pleased with that that I hired them to do some weed control and fertilization at the rental house.  They were very responsive and worked with me keeping track and billing me once a month which made things less confusing for me.  They worked out so well that I asked them to clear out over growth at the rental house.  Those weeds had established themselves so the crew had to spray the vegetation to kill it and then spend several hours digging up the roots to get rid of it all.  I paid several hundred dollars to get all of that done- but what a difference it makes.  They have been so easy to work with and very responsive that I have now hired them to keep up Dad's property for the rest of the summer and next summer.  That entails cutting/trimming/cleaning up the grass, as well as keeping up the gardens - weeding, keeping them cut back etc.  I called Jason, and spoke to him about the work.  He walked around and got a list of what I wanted done and agreed to give me an estimate.  Dad has almost an acre of property.  The plan for care was ideal for my needs and the estimate was very reasonable.  They are still doing work for me and I have hired them for next summer to carry out the same plan.  I can't say enough good things about these guys!  Excellent service and very reasonably priced!

This is our maiden experience with Angie's List and first time home owner or a 116 year old home, located along a quiet pedestrian causeway.  The brick pathway leading from the back door to the parking area in the alley serves as the primary access to the property.  It was old, heavily worn, and unsafe.  
Although Green Thumb first offered me the less expensive option of merely repairing the crumbling walkway.  Ultimately we opted to rip out the eyesore and start anew.
Within a week of making a deposit, installation was complete.
The installation looks marvelous!
We especially appreciate the care taken to ensure our wobbly gate opens and closes properly.  They plumbed the opposing post and secured it in place with concrete.  Now the gate is stable and operates with ease.  Allowing us to stratch that project off our list of future home improvements.  Damage to the existing landscaping was minimal.  Otherwise the work site was spotless.
Green Thumb definitely lived up to their reputation for professional, quality service.
This experience has given us the confidence to consult Angies List for any future home improvements!

Great! Purchased a coupon, got more than my moneys worth. very nice guys did a great job- worked hard even in this horrible heat!

I like their company because they were wonderful, very kind, informative, and educational.

First, the day I purchased this Big Deal, the owner immediately called and scheduled an appointment to visit my home and review the work. We set a date and he came out and assessed the job.  He sent a crew of two men, a chain saw,a truck and a wood chipper out. His men were extremely hard working, did not complain with the extensive amount of work required to prune these trees, pruned all the trees extensively, cleaned up the extremely huge mess, (by chopping up the branches which were too big to place in the wood chipper), cleaned up all the debris, finished by leaf blowing my driveway clean, and did not complain at all as to the tremendous size of the job.  In fact, to complete the job, the workers even worked a bit longer than the two hours just to make sure the job was done perfectly.  I would give this company an EXCELLENT rating and would recommend their services very highly.  The work performed by Green Thumb Lawncare N Landscape, LLC, was an OUTSTANDING value.

Unlike other grass cutters I have used in the past, I can count on Green Thumb to show up on the specified date and even at approximately the same time.  They are very agreeable to fulfilling any requests you may have and you NEVER have to worry about them not showing up.   They have even cut my grass when it was sprinkling to get it done as specified.   I am extremely satisfied with their services and their price is one of the best I found when shopping around.  I would highly recommend them to everyone.

We contracted with Green Thumb through an introductory offer - an Angie's List Big Deal for a Holland Stone patio surface.  Jason came to view the site, gave an excellent presentation and followed up promptly with a proposal.  For the proposal we had a good choice of color and design for the stones.  The work was begun on 5/23/12 and completed on 5/28/12.  There was some delay in removing the concrete portion of the area which turned out to be thicker than expected and we needed to call relative to clean up and repair of the damage done in the process of the work (some of the debris was missed and reseeding was necessary).  This was all completed to our satisfaction.  We are very pleased with our new patio.  Green Thumb is a good company to work with.

They are easy to work with, call ahead of time, keep you informed, don't try to up charge and are friendly

I was not happy with them and not necessarily because of the work they did and the work that they did as far as I can tell was fine, but I was unhappy because of their lack of communication and when I called while I was out of town on work, they had left a phone message that said that they were going to come over and get the work done, but my yard was not ready for the work, so it was really just a waste of money because the yard had not been raked and they were still doing the soothing and fertilizing. They didn’t do much good dumping it one the yard floor and driveways. I had called them up, sent a message saying that I was not ready, but they just came out without any notice and all of a sudden there were people working on my yard. I asked one of the guys if they had got my message and he said yes, but they already had it scheduled, so they were just not very co-operative at the time. They had very poor communication and inappropriateness of coming on to my property with no notice. The overall experience was not good and they do good work, so it was just their communication and poor timing. The price was okay, their responsiveness was bad and they were very unprofessional. I would not hire them again even if they can communicate properly because they didn’t care whether I was at home or not, or that the yard was not ready.
