They were exceptional. I was extremely pleased with their service. I have nothing bad to say about this company.

Came out for the bid the day I contacted them. Service was provided later in the week. Did a good job and removed all of the debris. Would use again.

I called Dorsey Tree company and the owner arrived promptly. A few days later the tree was removed from front yard. The tree stump was grinded down along with five other stumps. The workers were very neat and professional. They took great care not to damage the retaining wall while removing the tree. The area where the tree stood was raked and covered very well. The driveway and other areas of the property were also cleaned up.

Last summer (July 2013), we had gotten bids from four tree service companies to either trim or remove an approximately 25-foot-high Bartlett pear tree in our backyard, after a large branch and part of the trunk had split away from it, and trim the 25- to 30-foot oak tree in our front yard. The bids ran from $700 to $990, with Dorsey Tree Service being the lower bid. Besides using price as a measure, we were uncertain about how to gauge each bid, other than checking Angie's list and the Better Business Bureau. We decided to hold off on choosing a company at that time. Fast forward to April 2014, when a strong storm blew through the area, taking the Bartlett Tree with it (it split into two down the trunk). The tree lay across our backyard in both directions, and given the time of year and the fact that a storm had just blown through, we didn't believe we would be able to get a tree service to schedule us anytime soon. First, I called one of the other companies from whom we'd gotten a bid, but as I expected, they said they wouldn't be able to schedule us for another five weeks. Next, I called Dorsey Tree Service. The only reason we hadn't called Dorsey in the first place was that the company wasn't rated by the Better Business Bureau, but this time, I decided to call and see. Imagine my surprise when I called and left a message with the person who answered the phone, only to be called back minutes later to say they could be at my home within the hour! I don't imagine this is typical--they must have had another job in the neighborhood, making it convenient to squeeze us in--but still, I was thrilled. They were here and removed the pear tree and trimmed the oak and had all the branches and debris cleared within two or three hours. A man came the next day to ground the Bartlett's stump. We have never had such quick, easy, affordable, and quality service from any company we ever hired for our home. The last company we hired to work on our home, installing roofing and siding, was NOT listed on Angie's List but had an A+ BBB rating, and they did horrible, shoddy work. I would have left a review on them (AAA Restoration) as well, but they are now (not surprisingly) out of business, thank goodness. From our awful experience with that company and our great experience with Dorsey Tree Service, I think I might weight Angie's List reviews over Better Business Bureau membership in the future.

I WAS VERY PLEASED. THEY SHOWED UP THE NEXT DAY. DID A VERY PROFESSIONAL JOB ON TRIMMING AND CLEANING UP. WOULD DEFINITLY USE THEM IN THE FUTURE.

He was on time. He cleaned up after himself, I didn't even notice that there was a mess at all. There wasn't any saw dust on the ground or anything. It did take a little bit of time to get in with him. We did play a little bit of phone tag but I'm not sure if that was necessarily his fault.

The company was very prompt in providing an estimate which was within the range of other estimates we received; similar in price for some services and better on others, this was dependent on the tree/bush. Once hired and scheduled, the crew arrived early and worked tirelessly. They did an excellent job removing the Bradford Pear however we still need to hire someone to remove the stump since it is in a fenced yard and their equipment would not fit through the gate. We're also happy with the trimmed bushes and feel like they did a good job shaping. The only issue we had was that the clean-up was not thorough. There were a lot of trimmings laying around in the yard and gravel all over the driveway. We would definitely consider using them again, however would discuss the clean-up expectations.

The service was outstanding, and the price very reasonable. We received a quote from Ron Dorsey on Friday, and the work was done the following Monday. The crew was courteous and very responsive to minor requests as they worked. Afterwards, they cleaned up everything and left the yard looking great. We will definitely contact Dorsey for all tree service in future.

They were EXCELLENT!! I had a bid for same services from another highly rated company and they wanted $725 for same services. Mr Dorsey was prompt , helpful and did a wonderful job and clean up. Cant recommend them highly enough.

Very good . He call and say he will be here 20 min and was time. It took him about an hour or to do the job.

He is reliable, prompt and arrives when he says he will. He has a pleasant demeanor, carried himself in a cordial manner and uses top of the line equipment. They also perform a thorough clean-up and offer a reasonable price. It was the best estimate I was able to find. They smile at you when they take your money and keep smiling afterwards. They offer top of the line service and I am pleased to continue working with them in the future.

It went well, I was satisfied with their work. This company was there (at my rental property) early. I got there at approximately 8:00 a.m as we said. They were there early, they had their truck and the tree equipment in the tree and they had already started trimming when I got there. Awesome job, and I would use them again, and I will recommend them to all of my homeowner friends if they are looking for someone to trim their trees. My experience with Dorsey Tree Service went better than I expected. Mr. Dorsey was prompt and very professional throughout the entire time. His price was very reasonable and he proved himself to be an expert in tree removal. He arrived at my house 15 minutes earlier than he stated which was outstanding and he and his men immediately began working. In about 5 hours, the entire job had been done and the work area had been cleaned. He has the equipment required to perform tree cutting and I would definitely use his service again.

Tom was on time for scheduled estimate time. Went over with him work to be done. Presented written estimate in minutes and was half the price of two other estimates that I had recently had. Said he had an opening the next morning at 8am. Great, let's get it done. Showed up the next morning at 730am with two helpers. They had the one tree taken down and thru the woodchipper by 8am. These guys work quickly but with caution. True professionals. They trimmed three othe trees after that and did a great job. I t had rained the night before, so to protect the yard from the bucket truck making rutts in yard, Tom laid sheets of plywood on lawn. They also did a great job in cleaning up all debris. I called Dorsey Tree Service and I received a response the same day. The owner was very prompt with the appointment. He gave an estimate on tree trimming. He came back the next day to perform the services requested. Trees in the back yard look good. However, the maple tree in front appear to not have been trimmed very well. Also, the company failed to trim alpine tree. I called the company to inform of this particular tree. The owner came back the next day to complete the project. Also, the company failed to clean up limbs and branches in the driveway and yard!!!

The workers arrived on time. The job was completed according to the estimate that was given. The job was completed thoroughly. The workers cleaned up the work site after the job was completed.

The work was done very efficiently and professionally. They made sure that all debris was cleaned up on walkways and driveway. I was very satisfied with their service. Will definitely use again for future tree work.

Dorsey is thorough. He is quick and efficient. He goes right in and takes care of the job. There is no drama involved. He's one of the better small tree service companies in the area.

Work went quick and they were done in about 20 minutes.

I called them on a Thursday and they came over that Tuesday fellowing the holiday on Monday. It took them only 3.5 hours to cut and remove the trees and price was very reasonable. I was very please and will use them again for the other trees.

Dorsey was recommended to me by a co-worker in North County who had used them. They came by promptly after my call and left an estimate. They were somewhat lower than some other estimates. They arrived early on the agreed morning and went right to work. They did a good job on the tree and excellent attention to cleaning up the area. I would use them again

Excellent experience, got a very fair estimate at 4 pm one night and all traces of the trees were gone by the next morning by 9 am.
