Hi everyone! I'm Sarah and I have moved to another salon. Carols is a great place but I needed a larger salon. If you are still wanting me to groom your amazing pet call me 573) 368-4866 I'm now the head groomer of Shadowood Pet Resort.

I did not end up using them but only because I found a groomer closer to my home.

We have been going to Carol's for over a year now I believe. We had tried 3 other groomers in Rolla and sadly just were not impressed. My dog LOVES going to Carol's! He never barks once stepping a foot inside her building and he just loves it there!
Plus, she does a pretty amazing job! I don't believe I've ever had any complaints! Highly recommended!!!

Sarah is an excellent groomer. The salon is small but clean and professional. I like the street windowto the salon being open (rather than closed with curtains) so I could see the groomers working inside. It made me feel safe leaving my dogs. Sarah worked patiently with my dogs and they looked great! The first time I brought one dog we had rescued to the salon for grooming, it was obvious that he was too nervous to be groomed. She suggested we delay the grooming and bring him on a day he could come after seeing the vet for a medication that would keep him sedated during the grooming. It worked really well and the next time he was groomed, he did not need to be sedated. By the third visit he really enjoyed going to be groomed! Carol's Pet Salon is a wonderful place to bring your pets. The worst thing is that everyone knows this.... so it may take up to two weeks to get in when you call for an appointment. Nevertheless, it is worth the wait, if you have the time.

Again, Sarah did an amazing job on Annie! She listened to my feedback and asked questions as usual. There was not much to talk about since she keeps records on each dog she grooms. As Annie's fur grows out, she looks just as a standard cairn terrier should! amazing cut, amazing lady! I got to meet Carol when i was dropping off a picture of me and Annie, and she is just a delight. I told her that she had found a real treasure in Sarah! I could not be more pleased! Alex and Annie

I cannot say enough about how incredible I (and my Annie) feel right now after our visit at Carol's Pet Salon. Sara is absolutely amazing. After a bad experience (twice) with another groomer, I was leery about trying someone new. I was a little worried about the price being more than the other groomer ($25 for the other groomer), BUT my little girl is worth it, and several local veterinarians recommended Carol's. So I gave them a try. I pay the same amount for my hair to be cut, and Annie is MUCH more complicated! BEST $40 bucks i've ever spent! And I'm on a very limited budget because of being on temporary disability due to an accident. So every penny counts in my life. I'd spend it again without hesitation. Though the price is more what you'd pay in a larger town, in this case, the saying is true, "you get what you pay for". AND this is a full grooming salon, not just a quick haircut. Sara... I can't say enough good about her. She was VERY professional and at the same time, very VERY friendly and gentle with Annie. She spent a great deal of time with me asking questions and letting me explain exactly what I wanted her to do. She did everything I asked and more! She took a botched haircut (a child could have done better than the last cut with another groomer) and turned this little girl into a perfectly groomed little lady! She knew her breeds well, and knew the special issues an older cairn terrier has. Being a long time dog lover/owner (who owns whom? lol), I was VERY impressed with her knowledge and her friendly, gentle nature. Sara keeps detailed grooming cards on her clients so that she knows what to do the next time. she spent time when I picked Annie up showing me what she did and explaining some problem issues for me to watch for so I can give her better details next time if needed. She didn't just clip her nails, she clipped and filed them perfectly smooth. I felt each nail when I got home and they were all perfectly smooth! You can really tell that Sara loves what she does and works well with the dogs she grooms. Annie came home with a pretty sunflower bandanna and she wore it proudly, prancing around like she had spent the day at an expensive spa. Anyone who makes my gal feel that way is number 1 in my book! And it was almost like Annie didn't want to leave Sara! that tail was wagging to the left, a sure sign of a happy pup. If there was a choice of A+, I would have given every category an A+. DEFINITELY recommend Carol's Pet Salon! I am very particular about Annie because she's a "puppy mill" rescue, but every dog is an angel and special gift, and Sara and Carol's treated her like that. I took my nervous miniature poodle in for a clip, dip and trim. When I first walked into the place I wasn't impressed. It's a very small little building behind a larger home. The groomer was very friendly and promised my poodle would be fininshed at a certain time. Whe called me when he was finished, but sooner than even promised. When I returned to pick my poodle up, he was happy as a lark, running all around and was groomed beautifully when a cute little bandana around his neck. This groomer was absolutely wonderful. My dog was happy and I was happy. Well worth the $40!
