The work was performed as bid. Honest and straightforward.
The gentleman that did the repair was clean, friendly, and professional. I very much appreciate the care taken in
removing the old roofing. Our yard is small with many ornamental plants. All debris was removed and the job site was clean at the end of the work.

They made a mess of my roof. They damaged the inside of my house. I called them for almost 6 years, and they refused to fix the damages that were caused by there work. It was leaking around the fire place. The water would run down my walls and behind my shower, decayed my bathroom floor. Causing me to have to replace my bathroom floor. Out in my garage you could see where the water leaked through and ran down the walls. Also caused a crack in my ceiling. They came out and fixed my roof, 5 years later, but would not agree to fix damages inside my home.

"Thank you for the review, although we are a little surprised we the overall D rating. We installed a new roof in 2006 and have had four concern calls from the owner since the roof was installed. Appointments were set for each call and a technician was sent out each time to address the concerns. We installed a new roof on 08/02/2006. While the job was in progress a leak developed causing a stain on the ceiling in the kitchen and dining room area. Once the roof was completed, we had the ceilings painting in the kitchen, dining room and hallway. The ceiling all ran together in these three areas and would only look the best if all three were painted. Upon completion, the roof and painting were inspected. At this time they were giving the five year labor warranty for the new roof. 10/18/2012- We received the second concern call. A stain had developed on the garage ceiling next to the interior wall. An appointment was set for 10/19/2012 and a repair technician was sent out. The valley on the front of the house had developed a leak causing the stain in the garage. The valley was removed from top to bottom and new underlayment and shingles were installed. There were no charges to the homeowner for the repairs, even though the five year labor warranty had expired on 08/02/2011. 1/30/2013- We received the third concern call. A stain had developed in the bathroom. An appointment was set for the same day and a repair technician was sent out. The technician did an attic inspection and found that all of the exhaust pipes above the bathroom were all dry and no leaking was taking place from the roof. The chimney had lots of moisture coming through the mortar and had severe cracks in the mortar and rocks.The homeowner was advised that the chimney needed to be looked at by a brick mason. 11/18/2013- We received the fourth concern call. No leaking, just concerned about the interior and concerned that the chimney may or may not be the problem. An appointment was set for 11/19/2013 and the owner of the company went out. The roof and chimney were inspected by Dale. The homeowner was once again informed of the poor condition of the chimney and there was no doubt that the chimney was causing the issue. A professional brick mason was needed to address the poor condition of the chimney."

A representative met me at my house, checked the roof and provided a bid. He said they were running a week or two behind and I would be contacted soon. The next day, I signed and faxed the agreement. Three weeks later, I called to ensure they received my faxed agreement since I had not heard anything. The lady said yes and they would be contacting me a few days before the work would be completed. Four and a half weeks later I received a call that they would be doing the work on Friday. I got home Friday and no work had be done and no phone call to let me know the work date had changed. Two weeks later, we got home and the crew was completing the job. They said they called, but no call was received.
The work was done and it looks fine from what I can tell. I would use them again because they have a good reputation; however, they need to communicate better with their customers.

First of all, I must commend Jessy Dawson, the roofer (he is a Master Roofer!). Jessy Dawson worked well into the very late evening on Day One, using a headlight to complete the job as rain was coming in that night. He returned the next morning in cold and damp conditions again to complete the job and install the ridge vents over 2 cathedral ceil roofs. Jessy is mission-oriented, like a soldier. He knows his duty and he does all he can to accomplish it. I saw that over the course of 2 days and complimented him on it. He kept working and never took breaks when they were deserved. He is a technical expert and I have asked for him-by-name for a additional repair. I no longer need to search Angie's for roofers... Jessy Dawson convinced me that Dale's is where I need to go... so long as Jessy Dawson is one of their roofers.....

The end result was wonderful, and we haven't had any problems. We have had wind and nothing has damaged it. They are very reliable, they do good work, and they clean up the mess. The previous roofer I had left roofing nails all over the yard, which is a hazard. These people cleaned it all. They are great.I thought the pricing was reasonable at the time. I got 3 bids and theirs was the best anyways. I recommended them to friends.

We do not know who installed the roof, but Dale's has been out 3 times for repairs. This time they had to replace a shingle. They considered it warranty work. Amazing customer service.

Dales Roofing completely replaced our roof due to storm damage (it did not leak) just damamge. After the work was done, it did leak. They responded and Dale Jr found the issue and corrected it. I asked for a ceiling in one room to be painted due to the leak. He handed me a can of Kilz, White! I advised our ceiling was NOT white! That was all he had for now. It again leaked. He came out again and said he found the issue and corrected it. I asked again to get the ceiling painted. He was to turn it in to the office. After a few months of calls and no repsone, and advising I would call BBB and file a report. I called our Insurance company. They called Dales Roofing. I received a call that day. They had a third party come out. He painted the ceiling then and there. It took about an hour. Should have been done correctly the first time. I will NOT use them again and advise others the same.

"Dale's Roofing Inc. replaced the roof at 1479 E Cookhill Ln on 12/04/1998. At the time we gave them a 5 year labor warranty. The homeowner call in to the office on 10/27/2006 with a leak. The leak was addressed and fixed on 10/30/2006. There was no charge for this work even thought the warranty expired 12/04/2003."

Very punctual and what I liked is that they called several times to make sure we were satisfied with our work before they sent out their statement.
