It took a little while before they could do the job, but we had storms and Tony let me know up front how busy he was. When his crew arrived, they did all the work I asked for, exactly the way I asked it to be done, and didn't leave so much as a twig behind. They needed to use a large bucket truck in my yard, but they took care to ensure no tracks were left in the grass. Other than the trees being trimmed and the dying tree being gone, I couldn't even tell they had been there. Tony and crew did a fantastic job!

On time, professional crew, great cleanup. I would use his service again.

My overall experience was pretty good. I had called him right after the storm, so he was very busy; but I didn't expect him to be here like this. I was still very pleased with the time frame he got here.

I had to wait for 6 weeks for them to come, but he told me in advance that he was backed up that far. As promised, he called 3 days before he was ready to come to set it up. Tony arrived with his crew at 8:00 AM and left at 1:30. All the branches were hauled off. Tony supervised his crew on where to make cuts and listened to us when we said we wanted more off one of the trees. He knows what he is doing.

Owner was very knowledgeable and provided a written, detailed proposal. I had to wait 5 weeks for the work to be done, but it was well worth the wait! He had a crew of 5 men here from 8am until 3:30 pm with a lift truck, another truck for shredding smaller limbs, and another truck to haul off larger limbs. There was a lot of work here - 11 old huge trees needed trimming and lifting up, power lines needed to be cleared, big limbs from storm damage needed to be removed, and big pile of old limbs hauled up. Additionally, their clean-up was meticulous and they took pride in their work. A very positive experience!

I had two trees in the front yard that needed some professional tree trimming. One was very overgrown - it looked like a bush and I wanted to pull the limbs up so that it looked more like a tree and I could mow under it. I called Tony to get an estimate, and he visited my house within a day or so and left the estimate. The estimate was exactly what I expected. It's not cheap to have trees trimmed professionally, but it is worth it if you don't have the skills yourself. I agreed to the cost (with the Angie's List discount!), and he said he would be out in a few days. Right after this, we had a bad storm that caused a lot of tree damage in the area, so he had to take care of others for a while who had a higher priority because of the storm. (My trees were fine. They just needed trimming, so I could wait.) About 3 weeks later he came out and trimmed the trees. They look great! He also cleaned up all debris so you couldn't even tell anyone had been there if you weren't looking at the newly beautiful trees. Good job, and I'll definitely use him again.

High winds from recent storm coupled with the heavy weight, of a bumper crop of walnuts, snapped several large limbs on the mature Walnut Trees in my front yard. Initially one sizable limb came down , whereupon I contacted TJ's Tree Service for an estimate on taking care of the problem. Eventually another large limb came down the night before the crew showed up. It was recommended that the trees be thinned due to the weight of the walnuts. I was asked if I wanted any of the limbs to be cut for firewood and assured that all cleanup would be addressed. The crew arrived as scheduled on July 1, 2011, one the hottest days of the year. The crew was fully equipped, I had to loan no tools or equipment or even drinks to compensate for the adverse weather conditions. Safety protocols were adhered too, with various members of the crew looking out for one another, offering suggestions. The team worked as a well oiled machine, from the removal of limbs, to the discourse on which other limbs needed to be removed and where the best place to do so would occur. In less than two hours the job was complete. Firewood was stacked, debris was removed from my driveway and that of my neighbors and I paid the bill. The crew was very polite and the entire event was like something out of the 1950's when service and person's word were as good as gold! I would definitely use this company again and would have no problem recommending them to friends, family or community. In fact, TJ's Tree Service is known throughout the neighborhood. Even the mailman, who lives outside of the area uses TJ's"s because he has seen the way the crews work and how the trees look immediately thereafter and long term!

I am the president of the home association. They gave free bids. They were very conscientious. They did an excellent job of cleaning up after themselves. Their price was fair. They were very prompt, friendly and easy to deal with.

He came right out and gave an estimate. I have used his services previously and he does a great job and I find him dependable.

He had a good crew with him. They respected the neighborhood and they cleaned everything up. They cleaned out my gutters after they were done. They were prompt and on time for the job. It was a positive experience. Several of my other neighbors saw the work and were pleased. They did not overcharge. They were courteous and very professional.

Crew did an excellent job. I told them to leave the firewood for a discount. They even stacked it beside the shed. No debris except for sawdust and that will decompose.

The price quoted was a bit high for me. I wouldn?t use their services at this time.

It was great. He is reliable, punctual, and does a great job. His rates are very reasonable as well.

They showed up at the time we discussed, starting working immediately. They were careful as some large limbs were over the roof and they cleaned everything up great. Do not hesitate to hire them. I will use their service in the future.

Tony was very responsive to a request for an estimate and quoted a very reasonable price. Crew arrived when promised and performed in a very professional and respectful manner. Cleanup was excellent. Only sign that they were here was the tree stumps that we requested they leeave. I definately would hire these folks again.

Tony came right over for estimate. Trouble with KCP&L getting their act together since it involved dropping service at my neighbors house. But after several weeks of dealing with KCP&L, they came and did the work. Their trucks sunk down in my yard and caused some bad ruts and several dimples from the heavy limbs. I would have been a litte happier if he would have fixed the ruts. Paid him extra for brush haul off. Yes, I will call them again. I really like Tony. Honest and down to earth.

It was easy. Tony came over to leave an estimate for the work I needed to be done and left it in the door since I was not home. I called him to authorize the work, and he said within 2 weeks....they came 5 days later. Also, he mails a Certificate of Liability Insurance so you know that you are not liable for injuries on your property.

The work was done faster than I expected, better than I expected and my backyard was cleaner than I expected. Tony was very knowledgeable about trees and how they grow. He also gave me tips on how to care for my other trees. I would reccomend him in a heartbeat.

TONY BROWN CALLED AND FOLLOWED-UP PROMPTLY AND COURTEOUSLY. THE WORK WAS DONE ON-TIME, AND ON-BUDGET. THE YARD WAS CLEANED UP. I WILL HIRE TONY AGAIN.

OVER ALL THEY WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL. THEY WERE HERE ON TIME AND WERE HELPFUL AND POLITE. I HAVE TO SAY THE PRICE WAS A LITTLE MUCH THOUGH.
