Friendly staff greeted us in a timely manner. We told them what we were looking for and they found it and gave us the price. A delivery time was selected and the deliver was on-time. Delivery folks were friendly and were quick and hauled away the wrappings and other trash. The day after purchase we called as we thought the bed was very tall for us. They suggested a different height of box springs which they had to see if they had one. They located one at another office and exchanged it for us to $20 fee for delivery. I thought this was acceptable. The delivery was again on time. We never slept on the bed or box springs. Good Job.

I shopped the store at 75th and Metcalf under the CVS. It has a warehouse feel to it, nothing fancy, maybe a little strong on the deodorizer.  Audrey (I think I'm remembering that right) greeted me right away and helped me find the size I was looking for and the characteristics. All mattresses are wrapped in plastic, that does make it a bit tough to try them out.  Maybe it would be a good idea to go to a retail place first, jot down or take a picture of the label you're shopping for, then go there to see if they have a suitable alternative.
I needed a new mattress to replace a 4 year old pillow top king size mattress that my daughter had wet the bed 3-4 times on and I just couldn't get the odor out.  She showed me the same mattress to what we had, just a different name - as all mattress retailers get their own version of the same mattress.  I paid $410 for this replacement mattress and I was pleased as could be since 1) I was irritated I was replacing a mattress that should have had more life left in it and 2) I paid $990 the first time for the same mattress.  So the price was right in my budget. I paid an additional $15 to have them remove my old mattress (well worth it!).
Delivery was arranged for the next day. I got to choose the mattress from the floor that would be delivered to me, and Audrey wrote my name on it so I knew exactly which one I would be getting. I liked that as compared to shopping retail where you get something from a warehouse.
On delivery day, the delivery guys showed up 10 minutes early, and were out of here 2 minutes before the original appointment.  They took out my original mattress first, then brought in my new mattress and set it up on the bed for me.  This mattress material actually matches my box sets, whereas before the mattress did not!  The pillowtop was slightly pilled on side of the mattress, but I'll be putting a thick Costco mattress cover over it, so you can bet that's not going to bother me.
I saw in another review someone received a mattress that had been used, and had an obvious yellow stain on it.  I don't see any stains on mine, nor do I believe someone slept on it.  Burlington says they get their mattresses as factory seconds.  I would guess that factory seconds includes damaged and returned mattress.  Don't some retailers allow returns if you're not satisfied? I imagine some returns come through here. I suppose it's what you're comfortable with.  Had I read this review before purchasing, I would have had them remove the plastic wrapping over the mattress in the showroom prior to purchase.
They do offer a complete 30 day satisfaction policy by purchasing a water proof mattress cover for about $40-50, but I did not opt for that as my husband saw this more as an add-on like a warranty. After all, how can there be any guarantee the person who buys their waterproof cover will actually use it?  I suppose in the other reviewers case that would have helped them out. In any case, I suppose they could now buy their own waterproof mattress cover?
Overall, we are very pleased we found a mattress replacement at more than half the cost of what we paid for the original ($990 from Mattress Firm in 2009, today $410 from Burlington Mattress), it matches our box set and the price was right.  Set your expectations accordingly. The mattress business is a bit of a racket as it is, but at least I didn't shell out $1K - $2K on a mattress which seems to be easy to do shopping retail.

Wow, you can really get a good deal on a high end mattress here.  They sell "scratch and dent" mattresses, but with very minor issues such as the packaging has been torn a bit.  My mattress was in pristine condition as were most of the others I observed in their store.  I've never had a memory foam mattress before and Cassie the sales rep was very helpful in choosing one that was right for me.  I absolutely LOVE my fabulous mattress!!  It's really deep as well, which is awesome.  I've never slept so well in my life and can even use my heated mattress pad as it has no gel in it as some memory foams do. I really look forward to crawling into it every night!
