For one thing, they got me pre- finished white doors which other companies did not mention. They were very efficient and have the best price.

They were excellent -- highly recommend them even over the Pella distributor who we originally called -- better price and much better service as well as knowing and meeting the repair people who will actually be in your home.

If you are looking for an honest small businessman to install and/or fix windows and doors in your home, Scott Chaney is the guy to call. Scott always gives an honest bid - he figures out the actual cost to do the job and then adds in a small mark-up (I keep telling him he could charge more!). Scott takes pride in his work, always does quality work and its important to him to do a great job every time. Scott is always timely, dependable and knowledgeable.

Scott was incredibly responsive when we contacted him. He came out to measure and candidly answered all of our questions. Unlike the other window companies we spoke with, he was not trying to and quot;selland quot; us. It was such a different and much appreciated approach. He explained the process and options thoroughly.
He was able to do what we needed in a single day--I went to work and came back to beautiful new windows. He and his crew cleaned up and moved back anything they had to rearrange for the installation--which is a major pet peeve with contractors--they should all be this courteous!
The windows have done so much to improve the appearance of our house and there is a noticeable difference in the absence of a draft.
Scott even offered to go above and beyond what we needed--with a willingness to install a storm door we'd purchase and removing old aluminum awnings! He genuinely cares about our happiness with our house and his role in making it better. Their service and products are super and we're happy to promote him to our friends and family.

I especially appreciated the fact that Scot found prepainted six panel doors, something the other businesses did not seem to know existed. His quote was reasonable compared to the other ones I got , better than some and as good as the others.
He also got me the exact door handles I wanted.
He replaced glass in a window that needed it also.
He made the experience a lot easier than some of the other businesses right from the beginning.

Scott did a fantastic job. I asked him to remove our old door frame so that we could sell it online and he carefully removed it and we were indeed able to sell the old door. He then installed a new wood door we had purchased on ebay. The door is beautiful and Scott was very nice; punctual; professional; and really did a quality job installing the door. The door manufacturer made a slight mistake in the door and Scott was more than willing to come back and apply a fix that resolved the issue the manufacturer had created. I'm really picky when it comes to service providers and I could not more highly recommend Chaney Windows and Doors.
