Chaney Windows and Doors are true craftsmen/women when it comes to window/door installation. The consult and ordering process is smooth and efficient. Prices are competitive but when you realize the customer service and attention to detail that accompanies your install, their services are a true bargain. So far, Chaney Windows and Doors has installed a gorgeous front door and two new windows. Owner Scott Chaney worked with us to provide pricing for several windows but allow us to replace and have a few installed at a time to fit our budget and scheduling needs. The installers are pleasant, professional and thorough, working quickly and efficiently and leaving you with gorgeous new windows! You are not buying the cheap $89 window install experience here (I've done that once and will NEVER do that again!!) With our door installation, they spent extra time ensuring the trim, threshold and molding around the door were both solidly replaced and aesthetically pleasing. And the door itself is so beautiful!

We were looking to replace two storm doors, one interior door and an entry door and given that our house is fairly old and nothing is level, we preferred to go with a company specializing in windows and doors rather than roll the dice with whatever sub contractors the big box stores send our way. We contacted Chaney after reading all the positive reviews on Angies List and met with Scott the owner a week later. Scott walked us through our options, answered all of our questions and submitted a bid that we felt was more than fair. Throughout the process, Scott was easy to get a hold of and kept us in the loop regarding delivery /installation dates. On the day of install, Scott's crew arrived on time and got right to work. They were very polite, courteous and professional -- we felt completely comfortable having them in our house. They left their worksite as clean as when they arrived. All the doors look amazing and we couldn't be happier. We will certainly be using Chaney Windows and Door in the near future and cannot recommend them enough.

Scott and his team did an excellent job replacing my front door. My home is 80+ years old and no repair is routine. For example, the door is not a standard size and had to be ordered/custom made. Scott personally took measurements twice to ensure accuracy (the first time during the evening to accommodate my work schedule). The door and install turned out amazing. The communication during the entire process was superb. Scott kept me informed throughout the process from the initial order through install. In fact it started raining during install and immediately I was contacted that work had to stop. However, a new date was scheduled and was followed through as promised. If you are in an older home and need a door replaced Scott and his team will take care of you from beginning to end!

Owner Scott Chaney provided me a bid around installing 21 windows in my home.  Scott was very professional and knowledgeable.  Scott's bid was my lowest bid and very competitive bid.  Scott actually came out to my house twice as I had follow-up questions around the bid (just wanted to clarify a couple points (e.g. clean-up and tempered glass for a couple windows) that were not spelled out on the bid) and wanted to compare two different window styles.  Scott spent a lot of time explaining the process, providing me valuable information around the window buying process and installation.  I did not end up selecting Chaney Windows and Doors to complete my project because my other bid was from a company I used at my prior house.  In the end, I just felt a little more comfortable going with a company I used in the past.  With they being said, I cannot say enough great things about my interactions and experience with Scott Chaney.  He is very responsive and if you are looking for windows I would recommend considering at least obtaining a bid from Chaney Windows and Doors.

Scott Chaney, the owner, was very responsive to our request for a quote.  He came to our house with examples of double doors.  He told us he had several suppliers that would be able to provide what we wanted.  He sent us a suggested set of doors plus the suppliers web page.  We were able to build the front door and storm door that we wanted.  Scott provided a timely quote and we set up the install date.  It took Scott and his helper two days to install both the front door and the storm door.  He had the front door installed the first day to make sure we had a working door.  They came back the second day to install the storm door, add all of the trim, and complete the installation.  They did an excellent job.  They kept us informed of exactly what they were doing.  They cleaned up the area each day.  We could not be happier with the final results.  We would recommend Scott to anybody that needs new windows or doors.

service was great. They were on time and the cost was right where it was estimated. They even ran into a few unanticipated snags resulting in more labor, however they kept true to their estimate. The door looks as though its always been there. Overall a great company to work with and I would recommend them to anyone!

Chaney was extremely punctual and professional. They replaced the door within the promised timeframe. Did great work. Very easy to work with.

Scott was very punctual and thorough with the estimate meeting, the contract meeting and installing the doors. Him and his crew were at the house at the time scheduled and worked seven hours installing doors. Our home looks newer and updated. I love our hall closet doors, no longer an eye sore in our main hallway. When picking up the doors, Scott saw knobs he thought would look good on our hall closet doors and installed those as well so we no longer have to handle the closet doors and keep dirt away.
The cat openings cut out on our interior doors look great and my cats love them while I like not having to use gates now.
We will have two bedroom closets done next spring and possibly three window sets, would hire Scott and his crew again.

Working with Scott was a pleasure.  My husband and I had several individuals out to look at our door.  One company quoted us a price that was over $1000 more than what we paid with Chaney.  The other people who looked at our door didn't inspire confidence or didn't want to take on the job at all.  Scott looked at our door and knew immediately what we needed and was not hesitant to take on the project. 

 Our door had to be replaced due to some unfortunate work by an inexperienced locksmith.  Scott helped with the details associated with the locksmith. The door had to meet condo standards for a fire-rated door.  Everything went very smoothly from the estimate to the finished product.  AND after the door was ordered, it arrived sooner than we expected.  Scott called to let us know the door was in and he came the next day to install it!   Scott, and a helper, Nick, replaced the old door with a fire-rated door that meets the requirement we needed.  They replaced the steel frame, and removed and replaced the door trim.  Our old door had been too low to the carpet.   Scott reworked the threshold so the new door opens and shuts perfectly.  He caulked where needed on the door trim and the threshold. Replacing a door may seem fairly straightforward but this was more extensive than that and we love our new door! 

They hauled away our old door and all old materials.  They cleaned up the entire area after the work was completed.  I think it was cleaner when than left than when they arrived!

Throughout the whole process, Scott was kind, patient, friendly and professional.

Everything went well. Mr. Chaney was very professional and communicated very well.  The person assisting him was also very professional. The work was done as described, and was done when promised.

Our front door was an odd size and not a easy fit but Scott did an absolutely wonderful job with installing the new door. It not only looks good, it fits and closes better than the original. (We have already gotten compliments from others on the door) He had to come back a week later to install the storm door I choose and that door looks and fits like a glove. He cleaned up everything when done. We will definitely use this company again in the future.

They arrived at appointed time and went to work. Doors look great and are top quality....in fact we are planning on having 2 more doors replaced by this company.

Scott Chaney was a pleasure to work with. He answered all our questions with no pressure to buy. The price was great. The windows were installed with a minimum of disruption. The workers worked very efficiently, installing 15 windows in one day. They did a perfect job of cleaning up. We were very pleased with the Polaris windows they installed and would highly recommend Channey Windows to anyone.

I needed 2 new doors installed and an added deadbolt to a secondary door. I live in Ferguson so I wanted
to get security doors installed. I checked Angie’s list and noticed really great reviews for Chaney Windows and Doors. I sent an email and was promptly contacted by the owner, Scott Chaney. He came out on the day I requested, on time, and went over all my options. I was immediately at ease; he came across as a very honest trustworthy person. Based on the reviews and my gut feeling after our initial meeting, I felt confident that he would give me a fair bid. He contacted me a couple days later with a very fair bid which I accepted. He called me once the doors were in and we set up a date/time for install. He
arrived on time and promptly went to work. His helper was also a very good guy who I equally felt at ease with. The doors look fantastic; they cleaned up after themselves and made sure I was happy before leaving. I have already scheduled
another bid at my sister’s house in 2 weeks. I couldn’t be happier with their work and professionalism. I highly recommend this company and will use them for all my window and door needs in the future.

Scott Chaney (the owner) came out and looked at all of the windows and doors we wanted replaced and gave us a bid, he also brought along samples of product. He was very professional and not one bit high pressure. He's a very honest man and prides himself on the workmanship of his company. He himself along with another worker did all of the work. He also ended up replacing a couple of damaged window sills in the process (which he matched perfectly). The work he did and the quality of his product are both outstanding. He really cares about how well things are done. We have been thoroughly enjoying the new windows and doors. I would highly recommend Scott for any window and door needs. I have been recommending him to everyone who brings up windows.
