It was fine. Everything went pretty smoothly. The installer was very knowledgeable and explained the basics of the tank. I was satisfied. They are easily reachable.

After paying $350+ for the propane upfront, we were promised a delivery date which was 2 weeks later. They failed to show on the promised delivery date and subsequently changed the date of delivery 3 times. It was 3.5 weeks after paying for the propane that it was finally delivered. By the time it was delivered, our tank had run out and the pilot light on our logs had gone out also. I asked the delivery person if he would check the logs and relight the pilot, he told me that I hadn't requested that when I placed the order so he couldn't do it! I explained to him that I had ordered the propane almost a month earlier and at that time the tank had gas and the pilot was lit. If I had known it was going to take them a month to deliver I might have known to ask for assistance at time of delivery!!! They are a horrible company to do business with and I will not be using them again.

Contacted FerrellGas to fill propane at my new property (tank was there, and owned by me) They had apparently been the supplier for the previous owner. Set up the account, paid in advance and was told they'd be there the following week (11/25-26-27) As of 12/2, still no gas. When I called I was told they'd be there and quot;tomorrowand quot;. What happened to last week's promised delivery... and how were they going to check the line and light the pilot??? Not particular impressed with a company that won't work with you... has no Saturday delivery... and not only charges for the propane, but charges to deliver it as well. I told them to cancel my newly opened account, and refund my money. Now I need to find a gas company.... or just remove the tank and the gas logs altogether.

Still waiting for propane delivery, but Cynthia in Customer Service provided excellent service - stayed on the phone with me for over an hour to ensure that all the paperwork was handled properly and that everyone involved knew what was going on. However, the first time I talked to them (two weeks ago and another person) I was given incorrect information about my tank which caused me to go in circles for two weeks and waste valuable time in getting my account set up.

It was a good estimate.

Ferrellgas were prompt. I didn't have to call them, they called me, knowing when I would need gas. They set up a schedule based on the monitoring. It was good. They periodically send e-mails with special offers and information. That's really good as well.
