Always helpful movers were on time, very careful with prepping all items for the long distance move from Kansas to Colorado. When the team arrived in Colorado they were very courteous and hard workers. Everything arrived in tact and couldn t be more happier with my experience with this company. Outstanding job!

AHM was incredible! We had to find a last minute moving company to get us from Lenexa KS to Greenville SC. Greg was so kind when he came and gave us an estimate! He listened to all of our moving concerns (we had never used a 3rd party mover before), and quoted us a fair price - even with moving one of our cars. The day of, they brought 4 movers and carefully packed EVERYTHING. They wrapped and padded any unboxed furniture we had, and padded my car so it wouldn’t get scratched in the trunk. Carlos and Steven accompanied us to SC and let me tell you, they are amazing people. They updated us every step of the way so we knew when to expect them. The day they unloaded, they put everything where we needed it, put together one of our tables that had to be taken apart in moving, and helped get rid of some extra boxes. I’m glad they took their time packing and unloading, because absolutely nothing was damaged, and none of our furniture had any scratches. For our first time using a moving company, I am so grateful for AHM, especially Greg, Carlos and Steven. They are fantastic men and really helped make our moving experience a great one. I can’t say enough great things about them!

Using Always Helpful Movers was honestly, the best cross-country moving experience I've had, by far, and my family and I have moved quite a bit. Thank you John and the team for making the trip to Florida to move our belongings! From the beginning, I interviewed several movers in the Kansas City area to move my family and I to Florida. We had a home's worth of items to move, and found Always Helpful Movers based on reviews on HomeAdvisor. I called them up and scheduled a time for them to come out and walk through the house to provide us with a quote on materials, moving fees, insurance, etc. John showed up to provide us with a very detailed quote, and answered my many, many questions. ***(Please note that I did a heck of a lot of homework - asked all the questions about fees, storage, fuel costs, insurance costs, packing and packaging costs, etc. I was very diligent and made sure I had all my answers before selecting a mover. It was very important to me that I fully understood all the services and rates they offered, and I made sure John and the team understood my expectations and what I was looking for. Doing my homework helped make this experience better for me, and I'd recommend you do the same. Ask ALL the questions, and make sure you fully understand the services that are being provided so you and your selected moving company all have the same expectations.) The quote John provided me was the lowest quote from the 4+ moving companies I interviewed. While that was very appealing, it was the customer service that really sold me. I appreciated that Always Helpful Movers made it a rule for their workers that they wouldn't cuss or talk crudely while around customers, they would respect our property and treat customers with respect. I have worked with many moving companies in the past that did not share these same values, and as a young female in charge of the move, I didn't feel respected in past situations. (I've had past movers eating, smoking weed on the job, speaking crudely about one-night stands on the job, etc.) Always Helpful Movers made me feel confident and respected during my cross-country move, and that is what really earned them this top review. This was apparent in the way they explained things to me, in how they spoke to me on the phone, in how they called me to let me know if they were running 15 minutes late, in how they updated us on prices and fees, etc. From day one, they showed me respect and never made me feel uncomfortable. Thank you for that. On the packing day, a team of six men came to my house and packed up all the items remaining. They took great care in helping me keep a full inventory list, by numbering and labeling all items according to my color-coded system. They were careful and respectful to my property, and even put down plastic and mats on the carpet so they wouldn't track dirt into the house. Excellent customer service and the quality of the work was superb!

This recent move was the second part of a 2-part long distance move. Once again, things went very smoothly with all the details handled efficiently and professionally. The crews that loaded and unloaded were great--well trained, worked together as a team, and were super friendly and helpful. This is a Christian-owned and operated business and it shows in the atmosphere and attitude from the top on down. Couldn't have been more pleased with the service or the cost, which was very reasonable. The best movers we have ever used, by far!

Words can not express the gratitude that I wish to express to these movers. They went above and beyond their services for me. I am a very sick person that needed to move to a place where I can receive the care that would help provide a better quality of life. This company is aptly named. Our interstate move could not have been smoother, due to careful and knowledgeable planning and the well-trained crew. They were able to provide whatever help was needed, including the ever-present haul-aways and last minute donations of a big move. The owner is hands-on and he and the team worked together like brothers--taking excellent care of our things. Their professionalism, along with their good humor and friendliness, made our move much less daunting than expected. I would give them the highest recommendation. Beverly H.

I have moved several times and these movers are by far the best I have ever had. They are friendly, fair, and work very hard. I asked them (at the last minute) to move a huge truckload of things across country just before Christmas. They said: "Can do". They took excellent care of my things. They were sure to ask me where I wanted every box and piece of furniture, as opposed to just unloading the truck and being done with it. They connected my washer and dryer for me. (As a senior citizen, that was especially appreciated). They even cleaned an appliance that they found had accumulated mold while waiting to be moved. Who does that?? In summary, I cannot recommend this service highly enough. Anyone who hires them is in for a very pleasant experience (which says a lot when you are talking about moving!)

They did an amazing job from the at-home estimation, load and unload process. We really satisfied with the service. Very accurate with time and the crews are professional, friendly and helpful. Worth for the money compared to the other movers. Bottom line, a very good experience.

This is the second time I've used their services, and I plan to use them again for all my future moves. Most recently, Always Helpful Movers made my cross-country moving experience an easy one. Their service began with friendly service over the phone to schedule my move. Then they arrived with a full team of movers to quickly, efficiently, and most important SAFELY move my belongings into their truck. Lastly, they arrived on time and took good care of my belongings as they moved them into my new home. I most appreciated their approach to interpersonal interaction because the owners and managers worked along side their moving employees to move my belongings. And they all did it was an extremely friendly and positive attitude.

Exactly as the name describes! This crew was more than helpful. This is our 3rd time making an international move with a 20' container. I expressed my concern to one of the men about my antique writing desk from Scotland, telling him it was special. He replied, "And we are going to make sure it sta special !" I then watched as he packaged it with great care, strength, and efficiency! Our family has made numerous moves. I would rate this company as the best! The whole crew was friendly and considerate. It was a joy to have them in our home!
