They installed our blown in insulation the day before Thanksgiving, finished in the time they said, cleaned everything spotlessly, provided me with before and after pictures and helped us handle a rebate from KCP&L. I am excited to recommend Green Improvement Consulting. The quality of their work, as well as the knowledge and efficiency shown by the entire staff was superb. The energy audit was done very professionally and explained to me in detail, but in a way that I could comprehend. They made sure that I understood what the biggest need to improve my home would be and how it could be accomplished. They arrived on time to do the improvements and did the work on my home proficiently and quickly. I am very pleased with how much their ‘green improvements’ have helped to lower both my electricity and gas bills—even with the hot weather we are experiencing now—my air conditioner actually shuts off every once in a while! Besides lowering my bills, they also helped me to get a rebate on the cost of the improvements and a deduction on my income tax. Awesome company-- I tell anyone I hear complain about high heating/cooling costs to check them out.

Luke and team did a great job on our home. We did a program through efficiency Kansas, got a $500 rebate and a zero interest loan to lower our bills. The sealing and insulation saved around 25% and the savings pays the loan payments on our bill it was very easy. Their inspection also also discovered a potentially unsafe water heater.

The team at GIC is very knowledgable and extremely helpful. After their initial inspection i had more insulation put in my attic and the house sealed up tighter. Since then my bills have almost been cut in half! I highly recommend them to anyone struggling with high energy bills!

I can't say enough about Luke and his "green team". They cut our $600 summer bill to less than $400. Our hot rooms are now the same temp as the rest of the house. They simply give you the information, provide a risk/reward analysis, and allow you to make your own decision. Had a bad experience with a previous home energy audit company but felt it was still worth doing for my next house. Their recommendations were sound and they handled all the paperwork with the utility companies for the rebates. The only out of pocket was for the insulation in the attic which was thin to begin with since my house is over 25 years old.
