If I could rate Mark 10 stars I would. He's honest, brilliant at what he does, courteous, and very professional. I brag about how great he is to all my friends. My bathroom looks amazing- I'm so happy with his work!

Mr. Mark Grussing was 100% professional, & did excellent work on two projects. We had a utility sink installed in our basement and shiplap done in our dining area. It is beyond refreshing to experience someone who truly cares & takes pride in their work. Mark was timely, & we are beyond pleased with his work. He did an awesome job & is very reasonable with his pricing. We plan to use Mark again & my husband and I highly recommend Mark Grussing with GEM Construction!

Great job on basement trim work.

I recently had to replace an old acrylic block window in our masterbath. It had developed cracks in several places and allowed water to begin to seep inside on the window sill during heavy rains. I decided to replace it with a modern one piece obscured tempered glass window and contacted several window installers for quotes, including two from major home improvement stores nearby. The store estimators who came out all seemed in a hurry and none spent more than a few minutes looking at the old window for a replacement before quoting me a price. I then went to a third major home improvement store and decided on a new window from them, both for the quality as well as the price. I contacted Mark Grussing with GEM Construction for the installation. Mark came out promptly to look at my problem window. I was immediately impressed with Mark. Unlike the others, he was very pleasant and very friendly. He took his time looking at what had to be done and getting an accurate measurement so I would know exactly what to order, and gave me a quote that was very reasonable. When the new window arrived Mark picked it up and brought it to my house. He took his time installing it and replaced the exterior and interior trim with new. Everything was installed perfectly and precisely. Mark is a real professional with many years of experience. He is precise in his work, a true craftsman in my opinion. I am very happy with the job Mark did and highly recommend him for all your window and door replacement needs, in fact any project he might be willing to undertake. In my opinion he's top notch, the best in the business, and I won't hesitate to call on him for any construction needs I might have in the future.

Does more than door repair

Mark was prompt on his arrival. All work was done at a professional level. Mark's work was exceptional. I will be recommending him to anyone that is in need of a professional, quality carpenter. This contractor is VERY quality oriented. A perfectionist. While that is good, it also means that the job will take longer than expected. I will hire him again.

Very quick to respond and was able to offer small business feel for a customer who does not live in the area. He made me feel comfortable with the process, took photos of the options of doors, and the work when it was complete. Great job, very happy customer!
