Certified Radon

The service was great. We got a low reading, it was barely over the bottom of the scale, but we will get a more intricate reading to see if we need to invest. They did a good job, and the price was a good deal. It is not a big thing, but we accomplished what we wanted to accomplish. It was just an initial testing, it wasn't an indepth test.

Smooth, they came it did the setup in a few minutes. Then came back 2 days later to pick up the equipment. Had the test results in a little over 48 hours later, from the time they did the setup.

It went smoothly without any problem. She was professional and explained to me what she would do. She did it and we got the report back.

I can't say it was unsatisfactory, it's just that the sample I got from the lab is inconclusive. They said that it took so long for the sample to get to the lab that they couldn't confirm that it was okay. My basement that they checked might be okay or might not be. I followed their directions explicitly and put it in the envelope they provided and within 30 minutes of putting it in the envelope, I had it mailed it in as quickly as I could at the post office. They were saying that it took eight days for it to get to their lab and be processed. The people I dealt with, the guy was wonderful and he explained everything. He was very nice, polite and punctual but the results were just inconclusive. Everything is fine at this point but they are saying that the degradation rate on the radon might have been bad because when they got the sample it was on a satisfactory level. I don't know whether to recommend them or not because I was kind of disappointed in them. The guy that came out was very, very nice, very patient in showing me how to close the envelope up and mailing it. Everything was explained clearly and he fully answered the questions that I had. That part was wonderful and he seem to know the best place to hang this to get the best reading.

They called me the day after I purchased the deal to schedule the appointment. They were great!

Certified Radon basically did come on time and they gave us the kit which we installed and then we sent off and I got my results back from the testing laboratory, but I don't think I've heard back from the company at all. And I was surprised I haven't heard back from them at least to discuss the test results. In accurate statement, I don't feel they have completed or done anything other than drop off the testing kit. So, I am not really sure what I got. I could have bought one at the hardware store and send it back to them. So, I am not complaining per se. I don't want to give them a bad rating, maybe it was just misunderstood, but I thought they would give me a call. They were very responsive in setting up and for them to come out and drop it off, but I thought they would have contacted me by phone. I think I got a little bit more educated after I did the process. Again, I could have gone to the hardware store, purchased the test and sent it in myself. I have not done any pricing at the hardware store to find out how much they are and I could go online and look up how much they are, but I think the tests are less than the $49.

We called Certified Radon on the morning of March 13th and spoke with the owner Travis. Travis gave a verbal quote over the phone and said they could have a technician on site that same day. The technician ended up getting tied up with their previous call, so Travis himself came and replaced our fan. The work was completed very quickly and Travis was very professional. We would highly recommend Certified Radon.

Great. It was easy to setup. They showed up on time, explained the work, showed me when it was done, and charged the price they quoted.

I was very pleased with Certified Radon. They tested our house for radon and were very accommodating to my schedule. They gave us instant results and had an email with results by the next day. Our levels were below 4 so no mitigation was necessary. They are delightful to talk with and are very professional.

It went well. Wished I had asked more questions-didn't know what I was getting into. Found what I thought was a problem a few days after the service called Certified Radon owner Travis and a service tec came out next day. Not a problem with their work but they still resolved my issue. Went above what they had to do.

No problems. All went as planned. Dropped Radon level from 13 to 1.2. Anything over 4 - 5 should be addressed.

They did a great job and were very professional. The technician asked if he knew if I understood what he would be doing, then he explained everything to me and how long it would take. The price was good and the professionalism was outstanding. Everything has gone as we were told it would.

Everything went smoothly. Travis and his employees are very professional. The two-men crew installed the mitigation system in about 3 hours. Radon level dropped from above 10 to well below 1 after mitigation. The radon level was so low that I could not believe it. Travis offered to test again without hesitation and results came back the same. His mitigation system truly works! I would recommend Certified Radon to anyone who has concerns about radon levels in their home.

When I called the lady who answered the phone asked me a few questions and then gave me a firm price over the phone. She answered all my questions and was very professional. The service technician who came out was also very professional. He explained what was to be done and completed the work promptly and to our complete satisfaction. Not that I liked having to have this done, but Certified Radon made it an easy transaction.

Two installers arrived on time, they were very friendly, explained what they were going to do and how and how long it would take. Every thing went as planned. They explained how the system works, set up a test monitor and cleaned up everything and were out about the time they said they would be.

I cannot say enough good things about my experience with Certified Radon. From the first contact with Miss Madison who scheduled my installation, I was treated with respect and received detailed answers to all of my questions. Dan, the company's service tech that came out to do the installation, was prompt, very skilled and very courteous. Even though the installation was a bit complicated due to the thickness of the stone wall of my basement, the entire procedure took only a little under four hours. Plus, he cleaned up so well after himself, you couldn't even tell he had been there at all! :-) Several days later, company owner, Travis, came out to collect the radon testing kit that Dan left in the basement to monitor the radon level after the equipment was installed. He was also very courteous and showed me in detail how the system was working and how to maintain it. Our radon level, which had been a little over 4, was reading at 1.9 just three days after the system was installed. Success! :-) I recommend Certified Radion fully and without reservation to anyone who needs radon mitigation in his/her home.

Certified Radon employees arrived on-time and completed service in a very short amount of time. They were very professional, apologized for noise of installation (which was minimal) and made sure our dog did not run through the gate when it was opened. They followed up exactly on schedule to see how mitigation system was working and were very upfront with test results. They emailed reports which made it extremely easy to send it to our realtor in order to let buyers know that system was installed. We were extremely satisfied with their performance, professionalism and on-time performance!

Installation was flawless. A very cordial crew showed up on time, performed the installation very professionally, cleaned up, and was gone in a couple of hours. The installers knew their business and were happy to share details of what they were doing. We're very happy with the service.

Had several other services come out, none of which could find the existing pipe for Radon which the builder had put in. Certified Radon found it, reducing the cost of mitigation service by at least $100. Plus the $25 Angie's List coupon

Travis was very professional and on time. He was concerned about what worked for me, not what was convenient for him. The area was left clean and it took under one hour. Very hard worker and very motivated. I would refer this company to everyone.

Certified Radon responded to my request for an estimate promptly. Travis, the owner, was very good at explaining what needed to be done and answering questions. The worker, Dan, was on time, polite and also good at answering questions. The crawl space is very small and not a fun place to work, but Dan was cheerful about it. Before he left he explained what to watch for and when to send the radon test kit in. The only thing don't like is the noise of the fan.

They came out promptly and gave me an accurate estimate. Once I scheduled the install, again they were prompt and did a high quality job on the install. Very friendly and respectful staff. I would recommend them and use them again if needed.
