We opened a new business checking acct in October 2009. In Dec 2009 we noticed a bank fee appearing in personal checking. It was from the business account we opened in Oct. I called BOA and after much confusion on their end, they said they fixed it. Unknown to me, the "fix" disabled online bill pay. There was no way to notice this until statements started showing late fees. I checked and found that about 12 payments I had set up in Bill Pay were voided plus the service was disabled so that I couldn't pay anything. Late fees were charged on 7 accounts. Three frantic calls to BOA resulted in no fix with additional days of delays due to waiting for the change to "propagate" through their system. Finally, I got someone on the phone that "reset" their bill pay system for my acct. When the service finally started working again after 9 days, the default checking account on all payments was changed from personal to one of the business accounts which was 95% wrong. So, the default business account went overdrawn for which BOA charged me $39 fees for each instance. Got those fees reversed. Thought I had everything fixed when I noticed that two payments were made from my overdraft account which put that negative. More fees charged. Transferred money into the overdraft account to cover fees and put the balance just above zero. Next month another fee is charged to the OD account which puts it negative again. This generates another fee. What a merry-go-round. This debacle cost me many hours of down time and frustration through NO FAULT OF MINE. No notice, no emails and no phone call. Another instance of "F" service. We've been a customer of BOA for 10+ years. We buy a house out of state and take the documents to my branch BOA bank for a notary service. BOA branch manager refuses to notarize because we are drawing funds from a different bank 1500 miles away and not BOA. Another instance. I deposit a large check at an ATM for business on Jan 7. I forgot to endorse it - my fault. Jan 12 the deposit is reversed. I see this online - no notice, no email, nothing from BOA. I call BOA and was informed of the lack of endorsement. BOA advises they will send the check back to me via mail. Jan 22, I call asking, where is the check? They advise it will arrive on Jan 28. OK, so they used my money for 21 days- so far. Jan 28, no check. Call BOA again. Check is "lost in the mail." I call the maker of the check. Cashiers Checks cannot be stopped payment for 90 days. We'll be out of business in 90 days without this money. Call BOA again. They will send a "legal copy" of the check for deposit. They will "expedite" service. Feb 4 - no check. I'm shopping banks. This is enough! Bank of America, are you listening?
Description of Work: This is not about the Raytown Branch. This is about the Bank of America company in general. I have 7 accounts at BOA including business checking, personal checking and credit cards - personal and business. We also use BOA's online Bill Pay services.

After the loan documents were done, the first payment coupon arrived and was wrong. First they wanted to argue but I was able to prove that they were wrong. They told me to not worry about making payments until they got the problem fixed. They fixed the problem and then promptly drafted 3 payments. Of course they bounced. Now they are accelerating the balance. I have made the payments since they fixed the paperwork but they want the payments that would have accrued while they fixed the problem they caused. They are totally inflexible.
