R. Schroeder Sod Farms

We started in March of 2021 with this company. We did two phases in our backyard (we have a dog and wanted to make sure the sod rooted). Before they started we let Chad know where the yard held water and other concerns asking things like do we need drainage in our yard. Asking him to grade our yard. He said no drainage was needed he would just grade and build/add dirt where he needed to. Phase one was to remove a tree and grind the stump out then lay sod in that side of the yard. 3 months later they came back and did the other side. The newer side again held water and the sod was dying. I voice my concern to him in June and Chad let me know that they were too busy at the time to fix the issues. They came back in November tore half the newer sod up built the ground up higher and laid new sod. With winter it's hard to do anything but now there was a crease in the yard that held water in new parts. Reached back out and this time when he came he said we are just going to refund you sod money and go our separate ways. During the entire process Chad was constantly rude towards me. Would hang up the phone. Would tell me he knows what he's doing. He recommended us call another company he knows. Now this company wants $6000 to fix the mess the other company left us with. Not properly grading. Not properly removing the stump. So $1500 is now going to cost $6000. A job that he said he could complete correctly is not with now new areas of water issues. I do NOT recommend this company.

They trimmed Oak tree in front yard just the way I asked and removed tree in backyard, cleaned everything up so that when I came home from work that night ,I wasn't sure they had been here. Great job Thank you

This is a great company. They showed up on the date and time as agreed. The work was exceptional, clean and neat. My next door neighbor hired them on the spot. If you need tree work, hire this company.

Everything turned out great and I was happy with the work.
