We first had them see if our old system could be repaired. They did a couple of obvious repairs, but it soon was clear that it needed replacing. The sales rep came out the next day to discuss options. He was very clear and didn't try to push the most expensive options. After we decided on our choices, he was very helpful in explaining things like financing options, how to obtain available rebates, etc. Our work was scheduled to be done 3 days later. On the day of installation, the workers arrived promptly at 7:30 am, and worked steadily until completion around 5pm. They seemed very knowledgeable and efficient and worked as quietly as possible. They thoroughly explained how everything worked, etc. They were careful to clean up completely afterwards. Our new system seems to be working great. I would heartily recommend them.

My experience was very positive with minimal time required to get the job done. Had called over the phone for an estimate and since it was under the amount that I had expected, I decided to go with them and not call any other companies. I work full time, so I do not like spending so much time on household projects with phone calls, etc. Requested a 7:30 a.m. installation as that works easiest with my work schedule, and they were able to accommodate me within 5 working days. The worker showed up right on time and was finished with the job in under 2 hours. Everything was very professional from start to finish.

I had water leaking and knew something was wrong. I have had Air Comfort do some work before and I trusted them from that visit, so I called them again. They came out the same day and came on time. They figured out what was wrong and ordered the part. The part came in the next day and they replaced it then. I have an old system, so they really had to work with it to get it back together.

Salesman Steve Ryan is great to work with & extremely knowledgeable (and patient). Crews were professional and very well orchestrated. Can't say enough good things about that variable speed blower! It runs continuously and economically on a speed that is so low I cannot hear it. It circulates the air in the house 24/7; the result is very little dust in our house anymore! No more dust specs floating in sunbeams & I only have to dust every three weeks or so; really great! I've only used the furnace once, but when I did, the 2 stage burner operation was so quiet I didn't think the furnace had come on & had to check at the register, then I noticed the house was warmer; very nice. Now the downside, the Puron ac compressor is LOUD, especially when it first comes on. I've been told that's the way they are and there is a special silencer blanket for the problem; still looking into that. Overall, a first class organization.

Air Comfort Service Inc. came on time and did a very thorough job. He was efficient and professional. We liked that they called first to let us know when they would be coming. Our home has 2 1/2 bathrooms and 4 bedrooms. We're pleased with their service. We pay them an annual contract.

When Air Comfort came out, they diagnosed the problem as a faulty fan in the furnace. They recommended against fixing it, since it was over 20 years old and it would be easier and cheaper to install a new one since parts were hard to find. Since they came on a Saturday, they gave us a few tips to get the fan going until they would come back on Monday to replace the old furnace. They were just a bit late on Monday but certainly not too bad.

When they came, they worked very quickly and they were professional. He was able to diagnose the problem right away and returned the next day with everything he needed for the unit. He did a good job and he even called ahead of time to remind me when he was going to be here. I can not say enough good about them.

I was really impressed with the thoroughness of their checking. I have had other people doing the same thing before, but no one has ever been as thorough as them. I can't remember how much I pay, but it's over $100.

I was impressed by how quickly they were out to our home after I called them. They were there within two hours and had the air conditioner up and running again. I thought their price was very fair considering how fast they came. We have used their services for 3 to 4 years and we also have a yearly service contract with them.

Air Comfort Service has been great to us. They are the ones that will call us when it is time for service to remind us and set up an appointment. I only pay one time a year and they come for the check-ups and also if something goes wrong. We always use them when we need something.

Air Comfort Rep. came out and determined that my AC compressor was blown. They told me that it would cost almost as much to replace the compressor as to put a new outside unit in. Their 2 ton Unit's were $2000. They really wanted to put in a new unit in vs replacing a compressor. When I asked for the compressor cost, it was $1550+freon 2-3 hundred dollars. I told them I would have to talk to my wife and I would call them if we wanted it fixed. They wanted to do it the next day, it was an urgent job to them. My wife and I thought it was a high price, so I looked on line and found the compressor for $755 and a certified person to do it at another list for $200+freon. I then called another Ac company and they checked my system out and said the compressor was blown. The next day they sent me a quote for $900 for everything and a warranty on the new compressor. I had them fix it and I have AC for $1100 less than Air Comfort wanted. I would not recommend them to anyone.

I called at 7 am to report my AC was not working. They called ahead when they knew the repairman was on his way; he arrived within 2 hours of my initial call, and the job was finished within 20 minutes.

Several short power outages in the space of a few minutes stopped my air-con units from operating. I assumed it was the capacitors that had failed due to the short stop-start cycles. I checked the breakers and they seemed good. What I didn't know is that not all circuit breakers trip to the middle. Some just get "loose" and barely move! Terry clued me into a 20$ coupon in the yellow pages, and also answered some other questions that I had. A very good experience with this company!

They were prompt, professional, and great to work with.

The technician was prompt and very personable. He quickly found the problem. The capacitor had blown and needed replacement. Since one of their technicians had just performed our summer A/C tuneup and cleaning 3 weeks prior, we were not charged a service call fee. We paid for the part and for his labor. I was thrilled they fixed our A/C so quickly, since we expect to see temperatures rise to the mid-nineties this week. Before leaving the technician took time to pet one of our cats, who took a real liking to him.

James showed up as scheduled. Very professional. Explained about an drain pan safety switch, which we decided to have installed. James also changed the filter, cleared the drain line, cleaned outdoor coil.

I called Air Comfort for my annual A/C maintenance. They are about the same price as the other companies I called, but instead of making me sit around the house all morning waiting for the tech, they called me 30 minutes before he arrived so I could just meet him. When the tech, James, arrived he was extremely polite, made a point of introducing himself and shaking my hand and made sure to wipe his feet each time he went into the house. I told him I was concerned about the age of my A/C unit but he assured me that everything looked great and I did not need to replace anything.

Mark returned the page and showed up in the time he predicted. Apologized for not being uniform, as he was playing in the yard with his kids. This was Memorial Day and I appreciated finding someone to do the repair. Worth extra $30 service charge.

Did not complete work for above reason. I have hired this company before for other work, and it was reasonable.

I just bought an older home and was having some painting done prior to move-in. The painters turned on the AC. The painters also noticed water spots in the ceiling coming back after they had sealed them. On the third day, water began dripping from the ceiling. They called me, and I called Air Comfort. The first person I spoke with was very polite, and said they would send someone over to look at the problem. A second lady then called me back to walk me through the process of figuring out if the water actually was coming from the AC before I spent my money on having an AC technician come over. When we finally figured out that the AC was the problem, a technician came over promptly. He was polite, efficient, and had everything with him that was necessary to fix the problem. I also bought a service plan.

I was extremely impressed. The sales person John Carella was punctual, informative. He answered all my questions fully and did not just try and "sell the highest cost product." The installers were punctual and professional. They fully explained the equipment. They cleaned up completely. I am happy with the furnace, but it is too cold to attest to the air conditioner. I highly recommend the company.

The company and technician were very responsive. They were very quick to show up on a Saturday in the winter. This company is not our usual heating company but I would use them again. I told them that I had a service contract with another company but they never called me back. Rather than talk negative about another company the technician was polite and said that sometimes techs may have trouble being reached.

Of course the furnace dies 20 minutes after I left town on business -the wife was left to deal with the issue. We got on Angie's and found the reports for Air Comfort. They came quickly and provided a quote. We opted to replace rather than repair. We were pleasantly surprised when they told us how to get a rebate from Laclede that saved us $250. The work was well done with a couple of minor hiccups. We selected the high efficiency unit and were surprised by 2 instead of the 1 pipe through the side of the house. The pipes look ugly and I think the industry needs to find something more aesthetic - but it is what it is. To allay our complaints they sent another guy - the foreman - to look and he found another minor issue while he was at the house. Overall a good experience - courteous to the wife. Willing to speak to me long distance to explain options and everything was cleaned up as they worked. When they were done we would not know they had been in the house. Great Job.

Our blower wasn't working. The repairman arrived on time and quickly diagnosed the problem. He explained the benefits of their maintenance agreement, which I purchased. He didn't try to sell me any more than was necessary and cleaned up nicely when he was finished. He was very pleasant and professional.

Air Comfort very promptly responded to my request for service. Laclede gas was supposed to come to my house to install the shut off valve the day before my new oven was to be delivered, and they were a no show. I called Air Comfort later that afternoon, and they had someone at my house first thing the next morning in time for my new stove delivery.
