I came home yesterday to a house that was 87%. Given that it was after 6pm. and I work at night I phoned Air comfort and asked them to call me in the moring. This was a direct result of reading the 6/8/2011 review, and all I can say is that reviewer was right. Air Comfort called me around 8am. The service man showed up around 10am, replaced the capacitor, and my air conditioner was up and running by 10:30am. and I got to sleep the rest of the day.

I woke up to no AC on Saturday morning. I called my "regular" company and was told that they had no openings for a repairman until Wednesday, and that the cost to just come out would be $95. I then placed a call to Air Comfort. They were able to send someone to my home the same day and for only $79. Unfortunately, my AC was beyond repair. The repairman called his office and scheduled the installation of a new AC for Monday and gave me a price on the spot. He explained everything to me, was courteous, and friendly. I have no complaints at all.

Started out as a routine inspection of our air conditioner. It was original equipment in our house, and we decided to have it replaced. Once the installer arrived, two days later, we made the decision to replace the furnace as well. These people were so professional, and thorough, it was a very good experience. They were polite, courteous and cleaned up after they were finished. The installer took plenty of time to go over the system, explain how things worked, and made sure we were satisfied and all questions were answered before they left. Very happy with this company. Good job. Thanks.

Very happy! Prompt and really appreciated that the HQ called to let me know when they would be arriving and when they were just a few minutes away. Very convenient. Would recommend again. Price was not fantastic, but not unfair either.

I've used them for years and they are fine. I have a maintenance agreement with them. They are great in all regards. They respond very well.

I had no issues with them at all. I like that they were direct about giving information; they were black and white about what they could do and what they couldn?t.

We had problems with another company and they didn't try to sell us a new unit. They are honest.

We like Air Comfort Service. They are very available. They fix things well and on time. They will tell you what you need and what you don't need. I have a service maintenance contract with them and I pay on an annual basis. It includes a service for the furnace, air conditioner, servicing the humidifier and electronic air cleaner. I don't use anyone else. I know they are reliable and they get the job done. Their pricing is fair.

They were prompt, efficient, cost-effective, clean and neat. The salespeople were great too. I kind of knew what I wanted and I was able to do it over the phone. They were able to arrange it. It was like an emergency basis because I had already been out of a furnace for two days. I did some investigating on which furnace I wanted to get and called them. They were able to do it on the phone and they did the paperwork when they actually showed up. It was an extremely busy time for them because it was very cold. All of their crew was very busy. I made the deal on the phone and signed the paperwork when they came. I will certainly use them in the future.

They were very prompt. I think I got same day service. The technician was courteous and helpful. He explained everything to me.

The original furnace and air conditioner were installed when the house was built in 1989. Their efficiency wasn?t great even though they were working well. So they came out and tested them. They then gave me an estimate to replace them. I went to 5 different companies and they gave me the best deal. The guys showed up on time. They worked very quickly. They had everything installed in six and a half hours. They cleaned up very well after themselves. They made sure that I understood about the furnace and the air conditioner. They gave me all the manuals and the warranties for all of it. They were great. There was not a whole lot of difference about them. I would recommend them if you are looking to replace your air conditioner, furnace or the heat pump from a carrier which would charge a reasonable price.

Scheduled for 8AM at 9am I called the office. They were waiting for clients to call in as their computers went down ond Wednesday and they had no record of Friday appointments. A technician arrived later in the morning. He was most professional (called me Mrs.) neat in work, courteous in explanations.

They came to the house and provided a written estimate in a very timely manner. They were able to provide an air conditioner and furnace that met the energy saving criteria. The work was completed in one day as promised. The workmen were efficient and courteous. There was a problem with the furnace which they pointed out to us. They were able to talk to Carrier the next morning and came back to make an adjustment to bypass the problem. We were kept informed of what they were doing to fix the problem with the new model of furnace and informed they will be back to to install "the fix" as soon as Carrier sends it out. Both units are working well. The cost does not reflect the tax credit.

I found the company through an advertisement from Angie's List. I called to schedule the appointment and they were very easy to deal with. They were available the week after I called and showed up on time. They did the work quickly and, as far as I can tell, very well.

Called early in the morning before hours of operation to repair air conditioning and left message. Someone called me back shortly after opening and collected my information. About an hour later received a callback that service technician was on the way. Technician arrived very soon afterward. I described the problems and showed him to the thermostat, central air unit, and external compressor unit. Just a few minutes later he came back in and told me the air conditioner was low on freon. He gave me 3 options; 1) refill freon 2) perform leak check (since units typically only run low on coolant if there is a leak) and 3) install new system. He very honestly and candidly recommended only option 1. He said option 3 of installing new system was definitely not necessary especially since system was only 10 years old. He said option 2 of performing a leak check probably wasn't necessary at this point because the leak may be very slow and the cost of performing the check (which may not even find the leak) might not be worth it. He suggested waiting till the next seasonal maintainence and checking the freon level then to determine if a leak check is necessary. He offered a 1 year maintainence agreement as well and he was not pushy at all when making the offer. From the time I called to the time that the air conditioning was repaired took less than 2 hours. Overall very happy with the service and felt cost was reasonable.

We arrived home around 11 pm to discover the air conditioner not cooling. We looked on Angie's list for a company with 24 hour service. We found Air Comfort and called them around 11:30 pm. Within a short time my husband talked with a repairman. The repairman said they were full for that evening and suggested we call in the morning. He did say they would come out if it was an emergency. My husband decided we could wait until the morning. My husband called and left a message at their office. They returned his call in the morning and said someone would be out in 1-2 hours. About an hour later we were notified that the repairman was on his way. He came and confirmed what my husband thought was wrong with the air conditioner. He repaired it and answered my husband's questions. My husband said the repairman was professional and knowledgeable. The service call cost $80 and the part $176. We appreciated the quick response especially since the forecasted temperature for the day is 91.

After coming home from work, I discovered my air conditioner wasn't working. It was after Air Comfort's normal service hours, but I called their 24 hour service and got a return call from a repair person within a few minutes. He was at my house and the air conditioner was repaired within an hour from the time I called. Part of the price I paid reflects the emergency service call price, of which I was informed when the repair person called. I was really impressed with how fast they got me back up and running. I also use Air Comfort for my annual furnace and air conditioner maintenance.

Called for an appointment in the morning and they were able to send someone over that afternoon. The service person was very professional and polite. I appreciate that he took the time to put on shoe covers before coming back in from outside. He did the work very efficiently, and showed me what I could do to keep the condensor hose clear and how to change the filter. He offered the option of a service contract, which I purchased. They will call me in the fall to come and check the heating system. Overall I was very happy and would definitely use them again.

When I called, the receptionist pre-screened what I needed so that I knew approx. what to expect for cost. I was able to schedule the visit for a time when I was at work and the sitter was at home with my son. They let me pay by charge card over the phone when they were done, which was very convenient. Cost was no more than expected.

It had been 7 years since the last maintenance, so it really needed it. I agreed to do a contract for a Spring A/C maintenance and Fall furnace maintenance because it came at a discounted price than if I had to pay them do it separately without the contract. In addition, with the one-year contract, the customer receives a discounted rate for labor if any work is necessary. They were on time and friendly and professional. Overall, I was pleased. I checked out the prices of other companies and they were on the lower end of the price scale for providing the same type of service.

It went very well. Matt Brewer was very helpful and informative as we made our decision on how to deal with the current aging and cracked furnace and lack of air conditioning in this older house we just bought. We had gotten one other bid which also seemed reasonable. The crew of 2 came within 3 days of making our decision and they completed the job in one day. Everyone was friendly and professional and they hauled away the previous furnace and cleaned up the basement when finished. Matt returned to the worksite and explained the new system including use of the thermostat which Chris had already set. Matt was thoroughly helpful in applying for the rebate for the manufacturer and applying for the tax credit. We sat them and did the necessary rebate form on the spot.

I would recommend them highly! They come out in the spring and fall to check my heating and air to make sure everything is working. They replace filters, etc. They are very nice. Price reflects electronic air cleaner fix, also with contract price $162. They keep it in excellent running condition.

Last night 02/17/2010 our Water Heater would not stay on. The Burner would light, and it was receiving Gas flow but after several minutes the Pilot light would go out; electronic type. After numerous attempts we gave up and called Air Comfort Service Emergency but the worker was too booked up to do the work. I called this morning and they were here within an hour, calling me before arrival. They took a look at it and he diagnosed it and cleaned the Burner area a little but before leaving he did tell me that he is not optimistic and I may need to replace the Burner Assembly. After he left several minutes later I got a call from Air Comfort and spoke with Tammy who quoted me a price. Later we contacted the Plumbing company ( Creve Couer Plumbing) that originally installed the Water Heater, and they said that they would be able to do it today; they quoted a priced about $30 more but figured to have Creve Couer Plumbing do it anyway, since they were the original installers( 2005) and seem to know the history of A.O. Smith Water Heaters ..

They did a good job. I was very impressed with them.
