Description of Work: The deal was $99 for $250 worth of plumbing. The plumber didn't know about the ad in Angies List and wanted to charge $99 for just showing up. I told him about the deal and he called the office. He then told me it would be $400 and I almost told him to leave, but didn't want to lose the $99 I had already paid. I finally agreed to pay him an additional $148 for a total of $247 for an hour of work. The pipe he fixed leaked water and I called the office the next morning and he returned to fix it that day.

Description of Work: Installed a new shower head and repaired a couple of leaky faucets. These were not difficult tasks, but I would not hesitate to use Ginnings Plumbing to handle serious plumbing issues. The technician arrived on time and completed the work promptly and professionally. He wore booties over his shoes and cleaned up when he was done. From now on, Ginnings Plumbing will be my plumber of choice.

Description of Work: Came and fixed my furnace and it works now. Had Anthony heating but they didn't do anything. They never cleaned the furnace and was clogged up. Anthony heating told me I needed a new furnace. And in the summer they said I needed a new air conditioner! No more contracts with Anthony plumbing. Kevin knows his business. If I do ever need a new system Kevin will be my choice to purchase from and maintain!

Description of Work: Replaced a water heater. They sent a service man out the same day I called, and he installed a new water heater that day. They arrived on time, completed the job with a minimum of disruption to my day. Overall, a good experience.

Description of Work: The initial contact was to fix a bathtub faucet and estimate the cost of two new toilets and three new faucets. This was performed in a second call. The technician noted that our water pressure was high, so he also installed a pressure control valve. We noticed a lot of noise in our water lines later that day. The same technician returned two days later and determined that the pcv was incorrectly set. | |The overall result was satisfactory, but we suspect that the price may have been a bit high.

Description of Work: Replaced kitchen faucet, replaced toilet ring seal. |We thought the whistling kitchen faucet was caused by inadequate piping. They immediately told us it was the faucet itself and it would be cheaper to replace it than try to fix it. My wife immediately went to the hardware store a few blocks away, bought a new faucet and quickly returned. They replaced the toilet ring seal while she was gone and replaced the faucet when she returned. They might have spent an hour all told. I don't know what the $200 we bought with the $79 coupon was supposed to cover, but we found it outrageous that we were charged an additional $269, bringing our total expense to $339. We will not use them again.

Description of Work: We bought the big deal for $79.00 for $200 worth of plumbing. We had wanted to get our faucet replaced in the bathroom & our kitchen drain augered. They didn't show up on time, but we were called before hand & they did let us know that they were running behing. They did wonderful work. I have absolutely no complaints about the work. It did seem a little pricey to me. Even with the big deal, we ended up paying appx $250.00 for replacement of the faucet which we had already purchased & to auger the kitchen sink.

Description of Work: They replaced a broken pipe on my sprinkler system and a leaky kitchen faucet. It went great! Jim was very knowledgeable and really good about explaining what he was doing and why. I definitely recommend them and will use them again myself.
