It was good. Very personable, knew what he was doing. I had carpet and he put bags over his shoes to not track in any dirt. There was a $90 service charge, thouht was too high. Got done what needed to be done and no problems since. Appreciated the senior citizen discount. No hidden costs

Set a confirmed appointment 3 days prior to date set to meet. The appointment was set for 9am, I called the office at 9:15 to see how late they were going to be. I was then informed at that time, they were no longer interested in giving bids for substantial amount of plumbing work on 3 individual properties. No call to cancel, any day prior to the appointment day. What has happened to professionalism?

We have rental houses so there is always something that needs to be done. I am finding a few service providers that I trust completely. Kevin Ginnings Pluming Service is the plumber that has never let me down. I would never use another plumber. .He gives you his price right up front, unlike many who get into the job and want to charge more after they have you over a barrel. This is a honest up front company. They seem to pride themselves on customer service. They put on shoe covers when they come through your house to save the carpet. They completely clean up when they are finished, I think the area was nicer when they left then I could have done. The reason I am a loyal customer are all the things I have mentioned but most of all these guys know what they are doing, and they do it well. Every time we have been in a mess with our plumbing they have made it right. If you really want an expert job done, call this company you won't be sorry. I am in my 60's and I was beginning to think there were few, if any companies left with just old fashioned caring and pride; well here is one. Their greeting when you call is "Kevin Ginnings Plumbing, how can we make you smile"? You may not get it then, but you will when they have finished the job!

I've used them before and was very pleased, but was very disappointed with this one. First of all, it was just an estimate and it cost me 99.00 - they call it a service fee even though no service was provided. Make sure you ask!!!! I have not had to pay for an estimate in years, so I didn't ask! They have a coupon for 1/2 off that price, but I forgot and they didn't bother to remind me - and that's another thing, the companies I've used have always mentioned the coupon if it's available. 2nd - the price seemed outrageous to me - I'll update after I get my other 2 bids (they were the first). I need somewhere between 30 and 50 ft of gas line (that was never clearly identified) - some replaced, some additional - for a new gas dryer placement. The estimate was for 850 + ANOTHER 99.00 service fee for flexible pipe and 975.00 + 99.00 service fee for steel pipe. My dad's a retired gas man so I called him immediately (he thought it was because they see a female and take advantage of that - companies don't do that anymore - do they?). Anyway flexible pipe is about 50 cents a foot, double that at Lowe's. At 1.00 a foot, that's still less than 50.00 for the pipe. He said I needed 2 shutoffs - okay - just looking at shutoffs - 15.00 to 20.00 bucks each. So we're up to 100.00 bucks in parts. Benefit of the doubt - 150.00. He said it needed to be grounded and that would be the majority of the work, although when I asked what that was, the explanation wasn't real clear. I asked how long it would take and he said about 4 hours (? to do what?). So for grounding and labor - 175/hour + 99.00 service fee! Wow! I asked if there was anything I could do to reduce that price and the answer was no. Actually an electrician can ground the gas line. Like I said, I will update when I get more estimates. Just make sure you ask about costs up front and maybe get other estimates before. Update - 2 more estimates - neither over 450. and a couple of hours. Now I'm even more disappointed.

.we have used Kevin Ginnings Plumbing Service before and were VERY impressed. They were professional and clean about the work the did ,unlike others I've tried in the past. We will always call them back for our work. They had our floor drain running in moments. their work is guaranteed so that is a big plus. Also WE talked with them about expanding our basement bath room they said they could do about anything including building walls. We will only use this plumber they are great.

They are very upfront with their pricing. They explain on the bill why they service call is the price it is. They seem very knowledgeable. They are punctual and respond quickly to your call. They are courteous and always clean up after themselves.

Besides the delay in responding, my main issue is with the price the plumber quoted upon arrival and that it did not include a $100 diagnosis service fee. The plumber did not explain that the diagnosis service fee wasn't in the quote price when he quoted the job. I believe this to be sneaky and I was shocked that the plumber insisted on an adding an additional $100 fee to the quote price. I will not use this company again because I don't have faith that the company or it's repesentatives will give an accurate price quote and was disappointed that the plumber added the $100 to my quote. I believe this is underhanded not to explain ALL pricing up front and make sure the customer is aware that a diagnosis service fee will be added to the quote.

The job was compeleted efficiently even though costlier than expected as the job was not bid or an estimate solicited. Will use the company again. Overall good experience.

They were the only company that cleared the drain line. Three other companies had previously snaked it. They also sent the camera through and explained everything we were seeing. Excellent and very friendly. I will definitely use them again.

I have been working to update and upgrade my home. I had used Ginnings before to replace a water heater that went out just before Christmas two years ago. I had them back to replace a leaking stool,tehy did work on shower knobs that were stripped out and no longer turned, this last time and contacted them for a quote to replace a stool in the master bedroom, and replace shower heads for me. I have found them to be professional and punctual. Prices are never as low as one might like but I have felt like the estimates were reasonably priced, and I had confidence that the work done was done well.

Fantastic work done promptly and professionally. Upon completion he gave suggestions of things that I could do to avoid this type of work in the future, and cleaned up any mess that was left over from the work.

The job went very well. We worked for the most part with Jimmy, who demolishioned the old bathroom, jackhammered the floor and layed new drain pipes, replaced our water heaters, and rough plumbed our new bathroom. He's very thorough, professional, punctual, and kind. Once the tiling job was completed in the new bath (different service provider, recommended by Jimmy- also a good call:tiling job is perfect!) there was initially a concern on our part that the toilet drain may have been placed too close to the back wall; however, the owner Kevin came right over (after hours) and put our minds at ease. New toilet, sink and fixtures were installed by Kevin's brother- a mild tank leak was discovered the following day and quickly fixed. We appreciate the professionalism of all their employees we came in contact with - from the kind secretary, who always answered the phone with a cheerful greeting & immediately recalled our name/recent services to all the men who worked on this long project for us. Thank you!

Excellent. We called Kevin on Friday, he scheduled us for 9am Monday. He showed up on time. He located the issue quickly. Corrected the problem. He made sure everything was put back into place and looked as it did before he arrived. Excellent work. Fair price. I fully expected to pay more when he got the blow torch out.
