They removed the cartridge and replaced it. But the original cartridge came out in pieces resulting in damage to the actual plumbing. The faucet leaked and I called them back out. They confirmed that the plumbing was damaged and now they want $700 to replace the original plumbing.

He was a nice guy. He did come out. I think I got him from Angie's List and when I read what it said, it turned out to be a little bit more involved than I thought. What happened is I have two houses across from the other. So, I hired him. I told him what the situation was. As I recall, the ad said it was to clean out any drain above ground. I got the indication that he wouldn't go down and clean the main drain in the basement for $100 but as long as it was above ground. So, what happened was, we were at the one house, you could access the main drain above ground but what happened was that we ended up determining without him doing any work there was no problem with it. So, we didn't clean it out. We went across the street to the other house and the main drain was in the basement. I did have him clean it out but then his charge was what I thought was pretty high. He did a good job as I recall. He did get it cleaned out. He took his time and he did okay but based on some other cleanings that I'd had before he was a little pricey.

These guys really do good work. A little expensive but quality service.

The service was okay. They were okay. I just prefer my own plumber and he was busy at the time.

All went well. Good price for the work done. A lot faster and alot less frustration than if my husband and I were doing it.

They were professional. I'm very happy with them. I like that they're local to me.

he technician was a little bit late, but his office called and let me know in advance that he was running behind. When he arrived, he wore boot coverings inside my house and took the time to look at and answer all of my current and near future plumbing needs. The technician was very knowledgeable and skilled. The real problem I have and the reason I would never use them again is the rates are insanely high. I was worried that with the special of a $150 discount the rates would just be a lot higher to negate that so called discount and in fact that seems to be the case.

They showed up on time and did a great job. Sent two workers, who were professional and informative. The job went quickly and looks great. Very pleased.

Service was wonderful and went exactly as planned. I was very happy with the company and have since hired them to do other jobs.

Repair Wasn't possible, but estimate to replace all plumbing was outrageously priced.

Provider showed up on time and was very professional. He tried to determine if pump needed to be replaced.After my description of issue and observing sump pump in action, he determined flange replacement was sufficient after seeing leak.

They did everything we asked them to do. I don't think it was long after the purchase of the deal that they came out. There were additional fees of about $400. My husband said they made a mess on the front porch and didn't clean it up. I would tell a friend to probably go with someone else. I would probably not use them in the future.

Had a leaky supply line to a toilet that needed repair/replacement. That was replaced. Had another toilet the flapper was leaky on and was quoted over $500 to fix it....rediculous. The angies list deal was $89 for $250 of service....still had to pay another $49 when the plumber arrived just to fix the supply line on the 1st toilet. Then when I asked what it would cost to fix the second toilet was quoted a ridiculous price. I could have bought and had installed a whole new toilet for that price. Was disappointed a supply line repair was over $250 to fix....hence having to pay and additional $49 when they arrived. Pricing is absurd.

I had a leak on an outdoor faucet and wanted it either repaired or replaced. I got neither. The plumber gave a quick tightening to the faucet itself, which reduced, but didn't eliminate the drip. When asked about a repair/replacement, he quickly got into saying he's have to cut into drywall on the inside of the house. I said thanks, but no thanks, because I knew that wasn't necessary. Long story shortened, I pulled out the faucet and replaced a 50 cent plastic washer and my drip was gone. Why couldn't the plumber have done or at least suggested that? To be fair, once the idea of a hose faucet replacement was squashed (which is what I paid $89 for), the gentleman did give me a very complete assessment of just about every plumbing related in my house. He give me a lot of information and several suggestions on things I could do to keep our plumbing from being an issue in the future. I appreciated his "audit", but I didn't get the one issue resolved that I paid $89 to have fixed.

Purchased the deal on Angie's List. The deal says the provider will contact you within 2 days to schedule. What that really means is that you will get an automated email telling YOU to call THEM to schedule. When I called to schedule I expressed my concern about pricing. I was assured that they would provide prices before doing any work and that there would be no undisclosed fees. They gave me a one hour range for arrival and told me they would call when they were on the way to the appointment. I was not terribly impressed with the person on the phone. They sounded very inexperienced. The morning of my appointment I called them when I had not heard anything and was told that they tried to call me but the number was not in service. They had written down the wrong number (transposed the numbers). NOT sure why they didn't get my contact info from Angies List???? The "Technician" arrived shortly after that. I am fairly certain that he was NOT a licensed plumber. He was very nice and friendly and did appear to be knowledgeable. Did not take him long to find the problem at which point he pulls out a Pricing List and shows me the price to replace the kitchen faucet - a whopping $542, installed. This seemed extremely high to me so I questioned what the price would be if they installed a faucet supplied by me. $235. So... they are charging over $300 for a basic faucet which can be purchased at Lowe's for $100 or less. What a racket. And $235 for what he said was a one hour job? WOW, that's quite an hourly rate for a "technician". The technician did do an excellent job but the company is price gouging its customers. I decided to go ahead and have him install one I purchased (for $85 at Lowe's) primarily to get it done and save the hassle of getting someone else to do it. Plus the "deal" I bought included $100 off the work to be done. So I paid $135 for the installation plus the $39 paid to Angies List for the service call. Definitely not a money saving deal at all. This was the second Angie's List "Deal" I have bought and both were similar in that they weren't truly deals. I will not use this company again due to their unreasonable pricing and I will likely not purchase another Angie's List Deal again.

It ended up fine. One of the provisions of that service was that before they did any additional work they would provide me with an estimate. They did not provide me with that estimate, but Ginnings was very hospitable and actually refunded the money for the repair. All in all it went well, after I talked to them.

He took out the old toilet and replaced it with a new toilet that I purchased from them. Very professional. On time. Excellent work.

Quickly and cleanly removed old broken faucet and installed new one. Explained what type of faucet was put in and showed me the new faucet.

He was going to charge me about $500 just for a pipe under my sink. I said, "No. I can't do that." He didn't do anything else to it but he charged me $99. The quality was not very good. I just walked away. I didn't want to deal with him. When somebody tries to mess with me, I just don't want to deal with them anymore.

Kevin worked fast and was very professional. He explained the changes needed in the connections and I was very pleased with the installed faucet.
