We were having issues with the basement flooding due to some poor drainage around the house. Our AC unit is right next to the house, which made the problem a little harder to fix. John was the only person we got an estimate from that said he would be able to fix the issue without having to have the AC unit moved. He added some fill dirt around the house and graded it to keep water away from the house. He also added a new drainage pipe running from the downspout to the back of the house. He even kept our existing landscape rock and added back after the job was finished. We've had several big rains since the job was finished, but our basement remains dry! He was very knowledgeable and efficient. We would highly recommend him.

I have several rental properties and appreciate good providers. John Marr and Son were that and did a great job working with me to improve drainage and bury a gutter drain. They also did some additional work we didn?t have in the proposal for the same price. He brought in 10yds of top soil and used his bobcat to locate the dirt in areas that had issues. He also buried a drain and cut a hump that contributed to bad drainage. He can really operate.

He did a great job of estimating what had to be done, scheduled a time and arrived as planned. Heavy equipment was needed, and he brought it in without damaging any other part of the property or plantings. John and is crew were professional and very pleasant to work with. I would hire him again if I needed this kind of work done. He told me he has torn out a lot of ponds and pools. Well done.
